I tried making gari last time but didn't come out nice. Will try it again and this time my dough will be left out for 3days instead of a 24hrs. Thanks Sweet!❣❣
It is also important to ferment garri because cassava contains cyanide, which is poisonous and the fermentation process removes it. The roasting also further breaks down any cyanide left after fermentation. Unfermented could be unsafe to eat.
