i don't know how to use the rolling pin, i used the bottom of a pan and pressed it, and it worked out well. Thank you for this cassava tortilla, we have this in our market.

I've never tried Yuca Cassava. That is a good idea with the plastic bag.
You could probably get the fresh ones in Florida. It tastes similar to potato Debbie.

You did a beautiful job! My "dough" came out sticky. I couldn't even knead it. Do you know why? Can I fix it? I used fresh cassava.
Thank you! I've never tried it with fresh cassava, so I don't know how the dough would be. With mine the dough was sticky at first, but the more you knead it, the stickiness will go away. Be sure to not put any water in the dough. Hope this helps 🤗

It will be sticky when you start out. The more you knead it, the stickiness will go away. Make sure not to add any water to it.

You are very welcome. I've never had cassava bread, so I don't know how to compare to that. To me, it tastes just like flour tortillas, just a little gummy.

what happens if I use fresh cassava? We grow it in our yard, so I would try doing this recipe with our own harvested cassava. But you mentioned you don't have luck with fresh and buy frozen instead. is there a reason it doesn't work well with fresh cassava?
I'm thinking this would be even nicer with cassava you grow in your yard. The reason I don't like the fresh cassava here is because they are not really fresh. They've been in the store a long time. When you cut one open, they usually have black specks and lines, or they are discolored.
