- FIRST LOOK: The Wagoneer is getting some extra length and power from Jeep for 2023. Under the hood is the ALL NEW Hurricane engine. It is a 3.0L twin-turbo straight-6 that produces 505HP & is mated to an 8-speed automatic. On the outside you will notice the extra 12in of length. On the inside there is more tech and room than ever before. Is the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L twin-turbo a better SUV than a Chevy Suburban RST?

About screen; we've got the same idea (opinion ) I dont like upper one (on the dash)
I think the “tablet on the dash” look is kinda played out. Same for black wheels but it’s ok on this one because it goes with the theme I guess.
THATS WHAT TURNS ME OFF ANY vehicle with those screens that protrude above the dash ..Make it look like an afterthought

I don't know. I'm reading comments from owners where there are a lot of issues with these and quite a few buy backs.
Jeep makes the most amazing looking cars rn.
I have a 1974 wagoneer. That thing is as much wagoneer as a fj40 is a cj.

You all knocked it out out of the park. I just hope this thing is as reliable as a Lexus. Cause there’s nothing worse in a nice car than constant problems and vehicles that don’t stand the test of time.
I personally love the Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer and the option of getting the L version just makes it more competitive. I cannot wait to see these this Saturday. As for sales for the new Wagoneer as a whole, they're selling like crazy in cities like New York, Los Angeles, and San Diego because that's where a lot of business people live and work and they make up the majority of buyers of the Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer.
I just rented a Waggoner this week! I was highly impressed with the 5.7. It was very responsive, quiet, and great on gas. I can’t wait to see the numbers do on the Twin Turbo. I feel like it’s the best bang for your buck. Everyone was like “What is that?” I f I were in the market right now it would be my first look. We already know what to expect from the other guys!! 👍🏾💯

Now I ALMOST regret getting my 2022 Wagoneer. Traded my twin turbo Alfa Romeo Quadrofromaggio for it, and ironically they’re putting essentially that engine into the 2023 Wagoneers. That will rock the road.

When measuring screen size, it is square inches and not the length. But you are right, anything is above the dash for any screen is an issue. Excellent job in showing vehicle.

Just when I thought I had the perfect Wagoneer... the L and twin turbo comes out, ugh! Surprisingly, going from a Suburban to a Wagoneer, storage/cargo has not been an issue. But the comfort surpasses the burb and its so much more fun to drive! Does the twin turbo still have that wonderful growl when turned over? 😍
You can still get the larger engine - at least in the Grand Wag! Its an option to get the Hurricane

This engine is tremendous. Fairly miraculous that they can deliver 19 MPG overall in a vehicle this large and heavy. The Hurricane engine is a 6 cyl version of the standard Fiat multiAir engine (a very clever technology) with two small turbos added. 400 HP out of a 3 Liter engine is really good. Too bad Stellantis is milking Jeep to cover the massive losses in its other brands. At a more reasonable price Jeeps would sell very well. Stellantis should have just jettisoned other brands and doubled down on Jeep, which is their most profitable brand.

Jeep Chrysler dodge quality has really stepped up i own a few jeep and dodge products and i luv them. I only shop from the big 3. American quality and luxury is back

We have the 2023 Wagoneer Carbide with this engine and it is a BEAST!!! We are in LOVE!!! the passenger side infotainment is strange, but we might use it at some point. Love the black accents on the exterior vs all the chrome on the grand!

This is an incredible S U V !!! and in my opinion blows all competitors off the road , with no effort !.One case in point is the high powered 6 , taking much weight of the front end improving stability on wet roads . As you saw in this video , beautifully engineered ! and the video was perfectly given . PS !!!! I love this longer version with a passion as well ...
I really wish they would have just stuck with a GW. The Wagoneer Series III with all the goodies is literally the same truck as the GW, but with some options and tiny differences in the looks. Why the Chrysler brand continues to trip all over itself with a million different options for a very similar vehicle will never cease to amaze me...

Can somebody from UA-cam please explain why in the world do I keep seeing the Mexican ads? I do not speak Spanish and my language setting is set to English. This reminds me of every time I walked into Walmart in El Paso, Tx. Spanish first, English second. I happen to disagree with that, give me the option to skip the ad. I have no interest in learning Spanish. UA-cam is about to lose a viewer if they keep this shit up!

I just rented a Wagoneer L Series II from National with the standard output Hurricane I6. During the trip, I managed to get 19.9 MPG over the 7 days I had it and it was super comfortable. Definitely a great entry by Jeep for the large SUV segment.

Man I’m drawn to this Jeep lol. I love the dark color combination and it having a twin turbo is a plus as well. I would imagine not having to choose and have this beast and Chevy Tahoe V8 in the drive way.

I wish they would get the issues worked out with current models before releasing new versions. Going through a buy back now, 100+ days in the service department.
New engine in jeeps lineup and makes 505 horses pretty strong for this size of suv but against a NA V8 it’s a hard choice

If their engines can hit 200k without failing lifters, that V8 in GM is finished.

I would have loved to see u review the seat comfort and space on the 3rd row. We have 5 kids with long legs and I wouldn’t spend the money on this if the seating is as tight and uncomfortable as it is in other “large” SUVs.
That's the reason we went with this one over all the other 3-row vehicles. My son and husband are 6'2", they went into the 3rd row and said it feels like they're in the second row. You don't lose any comfort or air back there, since air vents are back there too.
The 3rd row is very spacious my granddaughter is 6’2 she was very comfortable back there

This is the right color combo. Everything is perfect but I miss the passanger screen. The only thing is I wish more people could afford this. I'm not saying is not worth the price but it's a very expensive SUV. Definitely I would like to buy one with 0 miles since it's not even worth to save so little on an used one. Definitely something I would buy.
