    This was hilarious between Roy Rogers and Henry Morgan. 🤣. People who criticize Henry Morgan are snobs. Henry Morgan was very smart and humble.

    It's amazing that Gary Moore smoked on his program. You would never see that on TV today.

      Everybody did back then. Even Johnny Carson. They gave away cartons of cigarettes as prizes.

      It's spelled Noose and you can say those things nowadays, as a noose a rope with a loop (that in the past was used to kill), you can't hang people nowadays though, but the word noose isn't considered to be offensive.

    •The Master of Ceremonies was smoking because the sponsor was a cigarette company. They also gave cartons of cigaretts to most contestants. I don't believe Roy Rogers smoked, so we did not see him receive gratis cigarettes.
    •When did Roy and Dale move from their San Fernando Valley ranch out to Apple Valley? I went to school in Apple Valley. Our first high school reunion was at the Apple Valley Inn, famously owned by Roy and Dale.

      The sponsor was Dream Whip- not Winston cigarettes in this episode.

    I have watched Garry Moore on t.v. many times in those days and never noticed how much he smoked. He seems always to have had a cigarette in his hands.

      Everyone smoked in those days, even Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble. I heard that it stunted barneys growth.

    • @fifty9forty3
      @fifty9forty3 2 роки тому +1

      @@lindareiber4086 It is true that everyone smoked in those days, and that is probably why I never took notice of it then. Johnny Carson smoked on the set but not as openly on camera as did Moore.
      The reason I mentioned it in comment is because we now know Moore died of lung issues directly related to smoking as did Carson.
      Flintstone and Rubble were lucky if all it did was stunt their growth, but in their day most humans were short anyway so that wouldn't have mattered.

    Give Henry Morgan a taste of " Real Work"Introduce him to something he was not familiar with.And by the way,Henry said that he made the record in the past for children,to give them the facts or truth about Cowboys and/or Cow Hands.I doubt this,but maybe Henry at least thought about recording A NEW record on TRUE hard work performed by cow hands and addressing his other INSULTS.Just as I said, I doubt it.
