This is a perfect example of excellent entertainment, such fun and nothing to worry about giving one nightmares or the children being unable to be a part of the evening, real family fun! Thanks so much, love watching over and over! 😁❤️👍
I'm 77 & this "I've Got a Secret" panel was my favorite of all quiz shows! Actually, I have a connection
to all of them! (1.) In 1962, I was in the audience of "The Price is Right", hosted by Bill Cullen! (2.) I met
Henry Morgan in 1967, at a Manhattan cigar/cigarette shop! (3) My grammar school classmate, Kathy
Mackesie, was Bess Myerson's juvenile co-host on a 1950's t.v. show "The Big Payoff"! (4) Betsy Palmer
appeared in the 1980 movie "Friday the 13th", shot in my childhood second home, Blairstown, N.J.!
Aired in February 1956 1960 and 1962 also 1957 and 1959 also 1961 as well and it's just like jeopardy
This show was a bit more free wheeling than What's My Line and To Tell the Truth. I like Gary Moore and all the panelists, especially the lovely and talented Bess Myerson.
I like both those shows but, I've Got a Secret just seemed so much more good-natured. I love the dynamics of the panel and Garry.
A young Dick Clark was inspired to become a radio dee jay by observing a Garry Moore hosted radio remote in upstate NY state .
Happy birthday bill cullen
We see them in movies all the time hahaha!!
Great episode especially the last bit.
Where's my jet pack?
+Lawrence H 50 years later you'd think we should have them.
+Mark Richardson To be honest, I would most likely fly while drunk most of the time. Butit would be a spectacle worth seeing.
@Mark Richardson I prefer being drunk without flying. Less painful.
What is that theme music? It sure sounds familiar.
+retrorex Plink, Plank, Plunk By Leroy Anderson.
+mrgiosb123 Thanks so much. I have two Leroy Anderson albums, but this isn't on either one.
Do you have anymore I’ve got a secret to tell the truth what’s my line the names the same make the connection and masquerade party please add 😊
As with driving, England is always on the other side...
What is interesting in seeing the old episodes of I've Got a Secret is the ever presence of cigarettes. Gary Moore is never without one. in one episode he lights up right on camera and that week the sponsor was not a tobacco company. On the weeks the sponsor was a cigarette (Winston or Cavalier) the contestants got cartons of cigarettes. A number of the panelists also smoked.
It was healthy to smoke back then
@@ricksaxe3120 4 out of 5 doctors said so !🤣
I wonder what future generations will say about our own filthy habits.
Nowadays, it may seem as if so many people back then were too dumb to realize how bad smoking was. But then again, they also thought you could protect yourself against nuclear fallout by throwing yourself under a desk.
Your music gets a gong.
YOU get a gong!
Whats My Line is my favorite. I've Got a Secret is a Distant Second and I've Got A Secret is usually a borr.
KittyPouncer Wow! That is impressive! I've always been a huge fan. Do you have any way to transfer to DVD? I would gladly pay for those!
Poor Garry can't afford clothes that fit.
?
Crossdressing was funny on TV, but at the time you could get you arrested in the streets for it
Cross dressing is never funny.
Tacky, tasteless, and tawdry!
@oksills. You just described yourself!!
Tacky tasteless and tawdry? Good god, what do you think about today’s culture? Do you even go out of the house?
