    I've been waiting for a video with different head movement drills then what I been doing, and here it is. Awesome video, good topic, vital info. I like to use head movement even for feinting. Head movement is a part of my rythem. I always remember to keep head-hands-feet always active.
    Your right the inside slip/dip does take getting used to. I had to work on it for a while to use it after I threw a right hand(orthodox) and because my weight is already on my left foot it was awkward to slip/dip left on my left leg, it felt more like I had to lower myself more in that position.
    Thanks JT I appreciate all you do bro. I really especially wanted to see this topic explained and learn drills for it. Thank you and God bless

    This is perfect. I’ve been spending a lot of time on head movement and footwork. I think a lot of ppl focus on punching combos and conditioning which is great. I spend a lot of time on that as well. But I realized that having good footwork and head movement sets a fighter so far apart from other competitors. Cause a lot of fighters simply don’t spend too much time in these areas.
    On another note I hope you put out more of the virtual padwork videos. I have been seeing some crazy improvement and results from that. On video 2 I was getting my first 2 punches off no problem, but on the 3rd and 4th I was kind of lagging on my speed. Anyway, last night I did the video to wrap up my workout and my speed has improved a lot. I kept up the whole time. These videos your doing are legitimate and solid training. I even suggested a few guys here. Not sure if they are members but I now they’re subscribed to this channel and boxing home workouts, and they love the channels. Keep up the great work bro.

    Hello coach , any tips on fighting opponents with good jab and movement . To be honest I don’t like to fight this kind of style any strategy. I tried to counter the jab many times but still couldn’t let my hands go

    • @PrecisionBoxing
      @PrecisionBoxing  Рік тому +2

      It's not easy to fight these guys, you have to learn to move your head multiple times while also moving forward. Watch more Mike Tyson fights and you'll see that in order to get in range he has to jab and move his head more than once while going forward, it takes practice. I got your video btw and i'll have a review for you in about 3-4 days.

  • @floydaprilweatherjr.3581
    @floydaprilweatherjr.3581 Рік тому +1

    What the heck is with this wide elbow placement man, keep the thight or you will gain double digestion in some sparring match 👌👌

    • @floydaprilweatherjr.3581
      @floydaprilweatherjr.3581 Рік тому

      + one more thing you are elevating your elbow too soon when you are jabbing, the main reason for this is that you are twisting your fist waaay too soon. Stop the video at 2:35, you should twist your fist at the very end of the sequention. Most of the guys will happily eat your jab just to shove you a left hook on this sweet spot. I think that kind of mistakes are unfortunately reason of training at home, without sparring or coach. Anyways chanell is still great so keep it up.
