Loaded container rolls over guardrail

  • Received a call from a customer to respond to a severe accident where the container on a chassis rolled over on a 2 lane onramp over the guardrail, while still attached to the tractor which was upright. If you weren't a fan of me before, this video should change your mind!
This job had everything but low over head power lines. Tight working space, heavy load and required lots of careful rigging. First step was to separate the tractor from the chassis and get that out of the way since it was drivable. Next step was to secure the chassis so we can separate that from the container and tow it out of the way. Final step was the hardest; find a way to upright the container and get it onto the Landoll with the room we had.
My idea was to position the Landoll before we even do the flip, then do a mid air roll over and onto the Landoll in one shot. It's a bit advanced, but came out wonderful in my humble opinion, all done relatively quick and smooth like always.
►All footage was shot with my GoPro Hero 9/GoPro 9. My company logo and intro/outro graphics were created by / sa.creations

I got hooked watching Heavy Rescue tow trucks by watching Highway Thru Hell. Since then I am obsessed with heavy tow trucks and rotators. on UA-cam . Ron Pratt is good but he needs to learn about editing, you Josh are without a doubt THE BEST THERE IS. I look forward to all your videos. You are so polite and complimentary to your co-workers and trainees. Your knowledge on recoveries is astounding and I hope you keep the videos coming. Thank you !!!

These are the best videos you do, where you constantly explain to yourself and your guys how your going to accomplish the task. You are an excellent trainer! As a retired fire chief, I am impressed with what you do and how you do it. You should create a course for LAFD and LACFD on how you move this heavy iron safely. I’ll. Bet if you video it, you could sell it to every fire department in the country! Idea?😉👍

I wonder what happened to the "forklift holding container falls over -- MAJOR accident" video from a few days ago. I saw it on my feed one day but was too busy to watch it. The next day it was taken down. I suppose it could have been like another video from a number of months ago when the customer's company logo was visible -- Josh took the video down and then put it back up some time later with the logo blurred out. Regan's and Josh's comments here make it sound like it would have been a good one to see.
