Drunk forklift driver + containers = FAIL

- A drunk forklift driver tried to double stack a container and chassis ON TOP of another container and chassis. As expected, this did not go well and the container fell off the forks, leaving a twisted mess of metal. The driver of the forklift was arrest for DUI (this is not a joke lol, this actually happened).
Dave and I tackled this delicate job with Big Flipper and Hulk, our 75ton and 50ton rotators, respectively. With our massive trucks, the job went smooth. One truck on each end, each attached to the top container holes for 100% full control at every step of the way.
Despite looking like some crazy job, and with obstacles like the landing gear in the roof and the forklift in the side of the container, we finished the job in 90 minutes from start to finish. Speed is never the name of the game, but we are no strangers to odd jobs.

"I'm going to be getting it from the rear"..."My goal is to extend out fully"..."My job is to take control from the rear". WAY too many phrases to have fun with here!! Lol. Great work guys!!
I see what you’re saying, Josh is getting it from the rear and Dave is taking it up front. Hey now, this is a family video. HELLO UA-cam, nothing happening here. Keep it pushin.
Still great skill by Josh & Hulk
I think this makes the top of the list of the most craziest towing recoveries
Just WOW, looks super dangerous to me! Hoisting your man up by cable to attach the snatch blocks!!! Craziest one I have seen. Just discovered this channel about a month ago. I have been watching ever since. Great videos of true professionals.
One of the best container rescue work I've ever seen. Kudos to you and your teamplayer
What an utterly chaotic container yard! Great work Sir Dave and Sir Josh!💪🏻
"I'm gonna be getting it from the rear", it's feasible because we have good illumination.
😂😂😂😂
Ahahahah!....funny stuff!
...and extend out fully....
It's going to take some tugging to get out.
Come for the interesting situations and the great photography, and stay for the circus aerial acts and the drinking games. Another great vid.
You guys have the craziest recoveries. Awesome job. Stay safe.
The two calls for cement trucks on the same overpass over the same BMW or Mercedes dealer as well. That dealer owner had to be ready to have a coronary......
Los Angeles is a pretty crazy place. I live there 10 years. Got smart and moved away to Florida, no taxes
Had to come back after I recovered from alcoholism to comment. Met the forklift driver in jail while out too, he says hi.
I used to haul containers from the BN in Denver. I have seen some stupid s##t in my time, but this has to be the stupidest I have ever seen. Containers get stacked but NOT when they are on chassis. Great recovery guys. Beautiful rigs.
It's quite a special person that's both drunk enough to not notice the road chassis, but still almost capable of operating one of those giant forklifts.
Dude gets home....have a good day at work?? WHAT !!! I worked today??????
That's some creative rigging right there! very handy having flipper there for the boom reach for sure on this recovery. Certainly earned your dollars for sure on this one guys. Awesome job and thanks for sharing. Be safe out there and hope all are well and free from the covid
WOW! Super job done by super people, thanks for showing all of us how it's done.
Highly professional job under very testing circumstances. The Pepe team excel again. Brilliant to watch their attention to detail and planning at every job. Keep them coming.
ANOTHER FISHING TRIP, except YOU were on the hook this time!! Good job!!
Turning a dui involved incident into a drinking game haha.
Classy!!! Was pretty awesome though
Don't try this at work, or when about to go to work.
The harness worked great and kept you safe. Well done you two.
Dude, I've been enjoying your videos for at least two years or longer. I'm pretty sure that I met and ran into your grandfather, or maybe great grandfather? several times over at Engs Peterbilt back in the late 70's-80' before Rush. I can't remember Mr. Engs first name but knew him and dealt with him and Tony Lacey, and knew many small fleet owners for many years. Guys that if they couldn't have fun with you and vice versa they were no good to you. Anyway, one time he was talking about his son being ready to go out solo on a wrecker...as soon as he got a D/L in a few years. So this is a long way around just to say your videos are great, your talent and skills are superb, and now I see you're honing in on your comedic assets. "I'm going to be getting it from the rear" and then the Peter Pan scene...you're funny dude! Also, I laugh every time you same "boom". If you didn't say it you sound like a good ole hippy boy from Little Rock Bakersfield. I better stop now and apologize in advance if I've offended anybody...I've been drinking, you suggested it. I'm an old man, maybe there's a new kinky kind of Towmans Porn going on? Be careful out there, peace out, and enjoy. God bless.
Definitely wasn't my grandfather, but awesome you've been in the game so long. And thanks for enjoying my videos!
Love how the ghost moves the levers as it's lifting.
Seeing you in the harness reminded me of an astronaut working on the international space station.
Big Flipper and the Hulk made it look easy . Also both trucks look awesome with all their lights on
I like you borrowing Ron Pratt's term - Arc Nemesis. You guys rock!
I don't.
Bhþ7a
@@fascistpedant758 It appears "Arc Nemesis" was present. A clear and present danger. Ron and Josh are top drawer. What is your dissension?
@@unclespongehead It was clever the first few times Ron used it, but it's getting old after ~50 times. Time to move on. Please!
Arch nemesis. Not sure what an arc is.
Super cool video as always !! Love the green lights under hulk 💪
The drinking game wasn't that bad.
I'm a veteran at YT drinking games, I drink every time Mike Patey says "back to work"
thats pretty damn good lol he does be saying that a lot
These videos have gotten to be so much fun. Great work, stay safe!
I have fun making them and glad everyone loves them
Josh, you need send this video to American towman,so they can feature your video
Hopefully they see this!

Great job guys, I Live in Ontario Canada I drove tow for 30 years and loved every minute
Was it cold working a recovery at 3:00 am in January?
Talking about a textbook container salvage, this is definitely the one...👍👍👍. Perfect job...👍👍
Appreciate it!
That's a drunk crasher. Gives all of us drunk operators a bad name.
While watching this video, I was fully extended. Thanks
This was a sick recovery.. excellent job guys..
That was a Sweet recovery guys…!!! Hard to believe that worker guy was operating that fork, lifting those containers in that condition... Good thing he or nobody got hurt or killed…! That harness you guys used rocked… 1st time I’ve ever seen you guys use it and it looked like it came in real handy…! Thanks for shooting this out on a Thursday too btw… As your video showed, you guys were very careful handling that twisted mess… Nice to finally see you... I can see your dad in you... Last, I agree with Dan Dunning (below) You make the job enjoyable so much it makes me want to come out and work with you guys... Nice job all the way around…! Thanks...!
Excellent work gentlemen, in and out quickly and safely. Very impressed at how well you fixed that screwup
What an awesome job. Well done guys!
Enjoyed. Y’all make the worst mess easy to clean up. Nice
You and Dave. The perfect team does it again!
Name a better duo, I'll wait lol
That looked scary for Josh, hanging up there 😳 hooking up the rigging. Nice view but I think I would have said, you go up and I will work the controls. Lol
You are a super hero, space Walker, thanks.
Been waiting for this one since I seen it posted on Facebook great job stay safe out there
Here's another fine mess you've gotten yourself into! Ha
Fantastic job like always. Was worth the wait, saw you guys on the Loudlabs you tube channel. Great job.
Gracias por sus videos son muy profesionales. Saludos desde Mexicali BC México
some of the things you do for your job and YOU love every minute of it LOL
That was FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!! I was wondering how you would get hooked up to the high end. "Easy". We'll just rotate Josh up there with Big Flipper. Getting down could be tricky but, it worked didn't it? Super fun video!! You and Dave make the craziest jobs seem easy. GREAT video!!
Even though this is dangerous, it is what makes the job fun and interesting, better than an office job 😃😃😃😃 great work. !!!
Danger adds to the fun
I always say it wouldn't be fun if it was easy
One of those scenes where you rock up and just “wow and how” on repeat! Like a scene from a action movie
That was insane. You have a great job, with great skills !!
As always a great Job!
Teamwork again, you really have trust Dave we he has control of your destiny! Great video! Stay safe. Kevin
You sir are a pro. In every sense of the term. Do whatever needs done to get the job done, and do it safely.

Excellent job boy's! 👍👍
Great recovery. God bless you all. Be careful and stay safe my friends.
Saw you guys rolling in your rigs on LoudLabs news when he covered this incident as you were recording.Been waiting for you to post this on.Keep up the great work fellas 🤙🏼
Those Are Some Good Looking Rigs . Great Job !!!
that was a outstanding job and you guys did it so smooth. I am glad the guy on the forklift was drunk and not plain stupid.
No he was fancy stupid... alcohol and heavy equipment don’t mix, (and you are stupid if you think they do).
I'm glad he was drunk instead of being that stupid. He can always sober up Pepe's to the rescue
I suspect it was both.
@@lindasherman9921 Right- smart people don't get THAT stupid when the drink!
@@lindasherman9921 he was just drunk
Being drunk is one of the most stupid things anyone can do at anytime.
from the end of the video.. that shit is SOP at that place.. crazy town
Impressive work young man!!
Thanks!
Well done, great work
You guy's rock Josh. I wish I could work some Recoveries like this with you. Be safe buddy.
It is grammatically incorrect to have the apostrophe in the word 'guys'. In this case the word 'guys' is simply plural. If it were a contraction (example "That guy's crazy."), then the apostrophe would be appropriate.
@@MDavidG1 Seriously dude you need to get a life!!!! Do you troll UA-cam looking for grammar mistakes by autocorrect??? Grow up!
@@dandunning4409 I fully understand your reaction, but if somebody didn't at least point these mistakes out once in a while, how would we ever know about them? Autocorrect will not make this adjustment one way or the other, since both are correct in certain situations. May God bless bless you and keep you.
@@MDavidG1 I am sure Josh was not offended in anyway and completly understood what I said. So in the future please do not grammer check my posts for me! Thank you and God Bless.
Beautiful job as usual. With that harness, on those canyon/car recoveries, they could cast you down in the canyon like a fishing lure and you wouldn’t have to do all of that walking through brush.
I
I'm Dez from South Carolina, and I watch every video you are amazing
Another great job you made it look easy.
Dave has the touch! Knows his controls to the inch.
That is so amazing what your trucks can do there. I think thats got the hulk and Flipper all over it. I already knew that from looking at it. Thanks for sharing my friend.
wow thats risky for you Josh...amazing job guys
THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO I HAVE EVER SEEN ON UA-cam
One of the best tow & recovery companies out there
AWESOME JOB MAN!!!! WELL DONE
Hardest part for flipper was lifting you. LOL just teasing... Great job... That looked nerve racking hanging from the hook. Dave did a great job keeping you safe while airborne... Thanks for sharing... Much love... Stay healthy and safe...
Josh ridin the Big Flipper, Dave make sure not to press freespool, weeeeeee!!
No doubt about it. You guys are good!
Working from the sling looked just like a spacewalk on ISS
Clutch ! ✨✨✨👌🏼 class aye chet !
Good job Josh. That’s how I figured you would do this for safety.
Thank god nobody was hurt or killed. No Cervasa drive forklift! Lmao
And he was so happy saying it I hit the floor with laughter 😂😂😂😂😂♥️💯👍
What a scarey job. You did great though. Thanks for showing this to us. Wow.
Always safety first it's what keeps us alive . Nice work

Jajajajaja. 😂🤣😅😆😁😄. You said that " I am going to get it from the rear." Jajajajajajaja
That was a crazy mess. That guy will be looking for a new job! Like sweeping floors!! Great job getting it down and your high fly work attaching to the top container!
Does the record follow him rest of his lives? so he can never work operating any machines or vehicles?
