2014 - 2020 Acura MDX Commercials Compilations (Part 3)

The third generation Acura MDX began with the 2014 model and it now only offered a front-wheel drive model for the U.S. market. The new engine was a 3.5-liter V6 putting out 290 horsepower and featuring variable cylinder management. It was paired with a six-speed automatic transmission for the 2014 and 2015 models but later upgraded to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The exterior looked more aggressive than before, with a diamond-shaped main grille above the bumper flanked by LED headlights and a pair of scoops. Interior upgrades included a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, active safety features like radar cruise control and pre-collision braking and Acura's 'Jewel-eye' headlights.
A refreshed for 2017 Acura MDX features a diamond pentagon front grille, redesigned LED headlights and restyled LED fog lights are optional. All MDX will come standard with AcuraWatch which includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning with lane keep assist and Adaptive Cruise Control. A 360-degree surround view camera is optional. To reduce body mass the front fenders switched from steel to an aluminum panel. Notably, this refresh included the introduction of an all-wheel-drive only hybrid model with a 3.0-liter V6 engine and seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
In 2019, Acura introduced the A-Spec sport-oriented trim package with 20-inch wheels and black or red leather upholstery adorned by black Alcantara inserts on the sport seats.
