I am shocked how much difference is between the same material used on different papers. I heard it before, but nothing beats to actually seeing it. Thank you! 👍
@ I am improving. I have been away since late August. Hoping to cope for the next few months. I love Ann and her giggles and stories. They put the smile back on my face 😁 See?
New brand for me too. I have the exact same markers but in a different brans. I bought those exact same square soft pastels under a different name. Both products were a disappointment. I think these are produced under the Hippie Crafter label by one of the big Chinese factories. I passed my markers ajd pastels on. Instead I bought Lyra Aqua Duo markers and am soo in ❤ with them. Thanks for your refreshing honesty!
Hi Betolina! I’m so happy you found a brand you are happy with! Lyra is very nice. I am sure you are right; these are most likely white labeled and sold under many brands. I’m thinking they would work well for some people under certain circumstances. 👩🏻🎨❤️🫶🏼
Thanks so much for your honesty. I’m sticking to brands that I know for the moment. Cheap and student-quality paints are not for me, I understand that now.
Second hand artist art supplies are the way to go AW. I have saved hundreds of ££ using eBay. Barely touched too. Artists clearing out messy studios and selling what they decided they would not use again. 😁
You as well! Most of our 30” is melted, but we still have 2 feet in shady areas. Guess what? 8” of new snow on the way Wednesday! I love the snow-so nice to cuddle in and be with family! Stay safe & warm 🫶🏼
I have Arteza pens and Tombow pens. I just love them. I have no problem with trying new things. Thank you so much for showing us what you find. I would have been so disappointed! 😢😮
You’re welcome,JoAnne! Glad you have supplies you love & happy this video steered you in a direction you’re happy with! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Couldn’t agree more with your assessment of those pens and ‘watercolour’ paper. Definitely seems like they forgot the seizing! Such a shame… If I were that importer, I would have thoroughly tested all before reaching out to UA-cam land and have many thousands see them in their poor action. Thank you for the heads up though. Always good to know what to avoid! 😳🖌️👩🏻🎨🎨
It’s lovely to see someone be totally honest with items that they were gifted by companies x
Thank you, Becky! I’m here for you guys & always will be ❤️

Hi Ellen! Thank you! Yes, cotton paper makes a huge difference. 😊👩🏻🎨
Thanks for sharing this, seems they work better on black than white. Heavier weight may be better, I’ll always go at 140 lb .
Hi Chris! Happy Thanksgiving!!
I agree ❤️❤️
Yay! I didn’t miss it. So good to be back here 😊.
Hello AW! I’m very happy to see you here!!
Well, look who’s here! Hello AW! Lovely to see you. I do hope you are well? I too have been MIA and am doing the huge catch-up.
@anitadavidson1266 Yay! It's Anita! Hi Anita 👋😀😄. How are you? I'm fine, thanks. You've been away for a while. I hope you are well.

Rachel Parker uses the watercolor paper. Thanks for the reviews.
Hi Sue! Glad it works for her! I found it to be very frustrating ☹️

Exactly, AW! Isn’t it good to know you can embrace knowing what won’t work for your own needs? If you’re like me, that’s priceless knowledge!🙌🏼
@ Yes, it is priceless knowledge. The prices of artist-quality supplies, though… 😬
@awatercolourist well……worth it!🥰
