- Fabulous instrument that oozes quality and character in equal measure. Not my usual weapon of choice but my oh my it ain't half hot, mum. Very worthy Strat alternative with a distinctive sound and a 'stand out from the crowd' appeal.

Love it. Always wanted one - If I can find a second hand reissue here in the US it's going to be mine - thanks for showing it! GREAT British stuff I love dearly.
Hi there and thanks, I'm glad you liked it :-) Just watched your Schaffer Replica Storm video - awesome! Hope you find a nice Burns but if it's a British guitar you're after I can't help but think that a Gordon Smith guitar might suit your style better! Cheers, Gary :-)
Lol Gary , Another blast from the past mate. Played by the original Shadows before they switched the Fender Strats.
We used to joke about the ' Wild Dog Tone'!
Very patriotic show this week mate.
Kindest Regards Mick Hill (Sunny Wolverhampton)!😂❤🙏🆒️
Hi Mick and thanks mate :-) There's another London made guitar coming up on Saturday. No Wild Dog though. Dear oh dear, Wild Dog - what were they thinking??? Cheers, Gary :-)
Hi mate. The Shadows played Burns Marvins.
It’s got a good ‘theme’ going on with the shape. I’d happily have that in the lounge 😍👍
Hi Billy :-) Yes, terrific design and I love the curly horns! Cheers, Gary :-)
That's a beautiful made and sounding British made guitar
Hi Blueberry :-) Yes, they really have an easily recognisable 'twang' to them. Lovely things :-) Cheers, Gary :-)
Hi Gary, lovely playing today, it's nice to hear you get out of the comfort zone a little bit.I don't think one of these would be for me but certainly a nice guitar
Hi Reeldin and thanks :-) I have to say they're really well made and very easy to play. I remember Hank B doing his thing with one with Ghost Riders on TOTP. We're all Stratty for a few weeks now. Cheers, Gary :-)
Nice playing Gary and an interesting guitar with very distinctive tones. BTW, you should hold back that other video for Jan 25th (Burns Night).
Hi Chris and thanks :-) Doh! I didn't think of that and I've committed now! Eeh, another missed opportunity hahahahaha. Cheers, Gary :-)
Nice guitar. All my Burns guitars came well set up. I think Barry Gibson at Burns did the final setup before dispatch.
Hi John :-) Wow! A set-up by the top man himself. I believe in those days Barry was using Jim as a consultant like PRS and Ted McCarty. Alan Entwhistle rings a bell from that period, too. Cheers, Gary :-)
Nice playing. But it sounds a bit...... how should i put it,? Sheepish. To my ears.
A good looking instrument Gary. Although not a patch on those Gibson powerhouse models you have demonstrated of late, the Burns brand has certainly secured its place in guitar history. Nice playing too !
Hahahahaha, hi Mike :-) I hope you're not being bullish about it! Cheers, Gary :-)
Hi Bob and thanks :-) I know what you mean but have any Gibsons got a 'Wild Dog' setting? I think not hahahahaha. Cheers, Gary :-)
