2 words - total shit.
Been to Roadhouse 3 times for "to go" orders. Wrong food 3 times. Even been handed food only to have another server come to the car and take it back. Also, meat always severly overcooked. Been to Bubba's once and served a raw (not rare) burger.
I like it!Chicken critters are GREAT.
I worked in the kitchen there for years. Makes me always appreciate my current job I had to work way harder there than I do now and I made way less money.
My favorite restaurant! My husband and I went there often. Since he passed, when I go there, I feel so happy! Love their food!
They killed the game in their takeout system during COVID. They set up a system outside and it was awesome. I will admit they hit some glitches, but I give them credit for being innovative.
This restaurant/company is very appreciative of their military veterans. Very Patriotic
Kent Taylor would call my husband and ask him for his grandmother’s chicken and dumplings recipe, this was more than 25 years ago. He was a great man, very humble! Threw some great parties to show his appreciation to his staff. My condolences to his family.
I Currently work for Texas Roadhouse and it's a really great place to work. The management and my bosses are extremely nice and go out of the way to help you. They've even given me rides home when I would work late and didn't have a ride. I even had a few co-workers do this for me as well. There was a couple of times in which I wanted to quit and the management and my bosses talked me out of it and I'm really glad they did because I really like working there.

I'll eat there next I want a steak I'm not cooking, always been as good as any. And if they treat thier employees good, so much the better. Hope I'm not disappointed.

I Was a baker at Texas Roadhouse in 2017. The best part about it was the bread.
Man this brings back memories, I opended and worked as a bartender at the first Buckhead and opened the first Texas Roadhouse also. Kent was a great guy and knew how to party =). RIP Kent, thanks for the opportunity and great times. Hers to my old Buckhead crew, you know who you are. Man did we party like you see in a movie.
Yes he did know how to party! It was always an upturn in the night if you crossed paths with him on a night out.

Every outlet whether I was visiting my sister in Texas or home in Michigan I found the staff to be outstanding at their dedication to service along with courtesy and smiles.
Except in Scottsdale AZ. They drop your food in front of you and walk away without saying a word. Place is full of millennials who could care less.

Consistently well prepared and flavorful steaks are what keep me coming back after 20 years. Staff is always awesome too no matter which location you visit.
Two of my sons worked there during college and off and on after. My wife and I made the eighty-mile drive nearly every weekend for six years, and the employees became like extended family. I can order meals from memory, and never had a bad experience in all that time.
Now I have the urge for a 20 oz bone-in ribeye and a baked potato.
Been working for this company for the last four years! Kent Taylor was such an amazing man and is missed.
When we go out for steaks, we always go to the Texas Roadhouse. We’ve never left unhappy with the service and the great food.
This place always has excellent service.

Texas Roadhouse never disappoints. I did get served a sirloin instead of a tenderloin on our last visit, but it was not a problem. It was delicious anyway. Did not know about the founder. I too suffer from severe Tinnitus. Some days can definitely be a challenge to keep sanity. It can be a living Hell. Times of quiet solitude seem to be the worst for me. My deepest condolences to the family. I pray to God daily for a cure or at least a treatment for anyone who is afflicted with this torment. RIP Mr. Taylor.
we don't have a beef tenderloin. Texas Roadhouse has sirloin, filet, ribeye, ny strip, and porterhouse. We also have prime rib, i would have asked you what you meant by tenderloin. Just for future reference :)
Giving you hot rolls when they take you to be seated is all I need to know. I love it.
Remember there's hot rolls were sitting at someone's table that didn't use them before you got them. Look it up! Quite common practice!
And the fact that it comes with cinnamon butter is even better

Literally my favorite restaurant. I go here so often, the waiters recognize me and even where I usually sit.
I worked ( very, very briefly) for a Texas Roadhouse location in 1999! The required peanuts on the floor were annoying to look at and clean up. They served back then and apparently still do serve great, hot bread/ rolls and butter before dinner. I snagged me aplenty during my work shifts back then! They rival the garlic biscuits @ Red Lobster (I worked for RL too for a spell!)

Recently went to one in Flagstaff Arizona. Loved it! Definitely had that chain feel which was okay for what I needed at the time. I was beat and had a long day and just needed some decent food and a good cold beer. It was the perfect place for both and the service was simply awesome!

I have been blessed to dine at Berns’s, Peter Lugers and most of the best steak house’s in the nation, yet I love Texas Roadhouse and Longhorn, you can’t beat them for the money.
My favorite steakhouse. Never a problem with my steak being cooked the way I like it. Plus the employees, very nice. I always sit at the bar, the waitress knows my regular, but always ask if I want to try something else. Never a disappointment.

Herewhere I live, the Texas Roadhouse is nearly impossible to get into (prior to covid). This place is the only place out of many area restaurants that makes my steak the way I like it: Black and Blue.
Love Texas Roadhouse! They are legit good to veterans. It's hard to convey how much that means. Highly recommend everyone eat there! Fun place to bring your family & friends :-) It's a wonderful restaurant!

My son worked here part time in the past here in NW Louisiana. He remains friends with many of his coworkers. We have an Air Force base here and they have parking spaces specific to Purple Heart and other Veteran statuses. It's a huge favorite here. Mashed should also do a backstory on Schotzky's, it's very interesting, and was originated by a couple of sisters going to the University of Texas from my East Texas hometown, making a family recipe sourdough bread muffuletta that for years was the only item available other than chips and drinks.

Love Texas Roadhouse. We went to one New Year's Eve a few years ago and it was packed, but that didn't slow the service. It was just as efficient as always. My nephew worked at one when he got out of high school and when he would be on Easter and Christmas break, from college, and during the summer, they would let him work, knowing it may just be for 2 weeks.
Never had a bad meal, or a bad drink. Love Roadhouse!
I did not know this about the founder. My heart goes out to the family.
I've ate at a few different locations and have no major complaint. As a matter of fact at one of the sites around Rochester, NY I ordered the 24 oz bone in rib. Normally I eat about half and save the rest for later, since we are staying at a hotel. This one time I got my steak and I could not stop eating it. Before I knew it I had ate the whole thing.
I miss going, but since fighting cancer for over a year I can not eat them. But once surgery is done and I can open my mouth the first place I'm going is Texas Roadhouse.

@@bladex2056 Thank you. Too be honest the blessings need to go out to my family and friends. They have to sit there and feel helpless. They are stuck watching a man who spent most of his life fighting as a medic to help many others. Now I'm the one who needs other fighting for me.

Very sad to hear about Kent passing, I can relate to challenges he had with tinnitus. Nonetheless, I really enjoy Texas Roadhouse, it is one of my favourite places, I go there when I travel south to visit the States.
Tinnitus is horrible, it's so irritating, extremely!! If I take a medicine it seems to get worse ,,I use to buy ear candles ( when they were $1.00 for 1 candle and that did soothe it a little bit ,it felt so good to just sit and be..I get dizzy as hell ,its bad today !! Weird how that happens on a day that ,a video about it pops up lol ooohhh I hate this shhhiiit..

The cinnamon butter that they serve with the rolls is also a fan favorite! I usually get a ribeye steak and it’s always good! They also do a great carry out service. I’m so sorry, though, to hear of Mr. Taylor’s passing. God bless the family.
I really enjoy Texas Roadhouse. It's one of my favorite restaurant chains. In the Houston area there are a bunch of locations.
This was a really nice video. We eat at Texas Roadhouse a few times a month and have never left unhappy. Great service and fantastic food, consistent from visit to visit, no matter the location.
What an incredible story. I love reading at Texas Roadhouse. Their food is ALWAYS great & so is the service. It absolutely breaks my heart that the founder took his own life. I can't imagine how his employees 😭 😩 😔 dealt with that tragedy. Such a heartbreaking story. 💔 R.I.P. to all that suffer to the end in suicide 💔

I have had the ringing in my ears for about forty years or so. You just learn to “tune” it out. I also hadcovid in January. I was in the hospital with double phenomena and lost most of my hair. Guess I’m stronger than I thought.
I ate at Texas Roadhouse for the first time two months ago in BGC, Philippines. The ribeye steak and complimentary rolls were great! I’m looking forward to my next visit within the month.

I’ve been with Texas Roadhouse for nearly two years. I got the job when I was 17 and it was my first job. I love working there. Management is great and so is our food. I’m a host a busser and a baker. I love working for that place

I love going to Texas roadhouse especially when they first open at 3 o’clock. I just wish they had a Cajun ribeye similar to the one that used to be served at Lonestar steakhouse.
They call that getting the steak "blackened" where they use their cajun seasoning to sear and cook the steak. I love getting my salmon blackened when I go there and it doesn't cost me any extra. Hope this gives you something new to try out if you go again.
I have been working for Texas Roadhouse for 27 yrs. we are store number 12 in the company. i thank God for my job. it is a fun place to work, and our Mrg. staff work`s with to make your job fun and safe. we have has over the year`s staff member`s who have loved one`s pass away. and the staff will alway`s chip in and help out in anyway they can. one time the staff got wind of a team mate in need, and they gave all their tip`s they made that shift to the fellow co-worker.

staff very friendly but REAL. you can get a great meal and leave feeling treated like a human, not just someone's paycheck. the wait staff are great people. yes the wait can be long to get in, but i felt it was worth the wait.

I love Texas Roadhouse I go there once a week it's extremely casual and such a good value whether you get steak chicken or anything else even their shrimp on a skewer is good the only thing that I don't recommend command is their drinks are very light and very measured and not really cheap so unless you just drink beer or something else else don't count on a good drink

A Texas Roadhouse rib eye steak...so, so good!
Have to add, none of the other chain steakhouses are even close.
However, the York Steakhouse (the last of its kind) in Columbus, Ohio is great for nostalgia and their rib eye steaks are really good.

The restaurant next to my house ceased the peanuts, and it fills cleaner inside now. I like the move. And the bread is so freaking good!

I love the Smokehouse Burger & the 16 oz. Cowboy Cut Steak. The cooks get the meat cooked to a Tee & service is consistent even when there's a rush. Not to mention the beautiful ladies are literally serving you with a smile. TRH Rulz! Keep up the good work!
We love ours. It is always packed with 10 or more takeout spaces filled so often. You have to wait on the street to get in or park at the hotels across the street. The hotels agreed they could.
My favorite Roadhouse is RHODE ISLAND ROADHOUSE. Great service and open 24/7 for seniors to stay warm in. Yummy Rhode Island Steaks. Try the Providence Pudding desert it's just lip-smacking delicious.

They have so much gluten in them they do not digest.
Last time I ate there I bought 3 dozen rolls and 4 big tubs of cinnamon butter to take back home. The combination of their rolls and cinnamon butter are better than chocolate and peanut butter. I wish it wasn’t 2am or I’d go get me some right now

Love me some Texas Roadhouse!! Best idea any restaurant founder ever had was to make sure something to eat was put on the table as the customer was seated. In this case, yummy rolls. It is shocking that many many more restaurants have not followed suit.

Just learned that Jaggers is affiliated with Texas Roadhouse. It’s a great addition to the fast food style restaurant space. Decently priced, and food taste pretty good. Will have to try Bubbas now that I know the quality should be on par with the other two.

Recommend everybody pick up Kent Taylor‘s book named made from scratch. It goes into depth on the hows and whys for his developing Texas Roadhouse.
We own one and I’ve worked for the company for over a decade. As far as international corporations go, this one is pretty good. Exemplified by the outpouring of heart experienced when Ken Taylor took his life due to COVID-19 symptoms.
Kent Taylor also froze everybody’s bonuses so that they could not go down during the pandemic. And stores were instructed to keep everyone’s job at all costs as they revamp to go systems. No one lost their job unless they chose to. Anyone who had to leave to do different work during the pandemic was welcomed back.

I live 2 minutes away from texas roadhouse, but haven't been inside. I do love their food. They did get in trouble, by the government for not hiring older. So over 40 years old, they wouldn't hire you.
The only thing terrible about this chain is that it's so darn popular but it's worth the wait. 👍

I always prefer Texas Roadhouse over other steakhouse chains because the service and food are consistent no matter where I go. The value vs price is acceptable and I’ve never had a bad experience.
I sympathize with the owners family, I too suffer from tinnitus. There are days it’s pretty unbearable causing me to sometimes be in quite a foul mood. It’s a difficult malady to live with.
My favorite steak restaurant in south Texas.
I love the roadkill burger and grilled veggies. However, 3 different times I had problems with my order so I will not longer go there.

We've seen many of these come and go over the years here in the NYC suburbs. Everything from "FUDDRUCKERS" to "THE GROUND ROUND" to "LONG JOHN SILVERS". The latter being the MOST successful of the bunch.
If your long john silvers is comparable to texas roadhouse no wonder the former is the longest lasting, gotta be the largest and nicest long john around.
I love Texas Roadhouse for a good steak but the Rattlesnake Bites are out of this world delicious.
Not a big fan of Willie Nelson's music, but I do love his Farm Aid message.

I spilled a full drink on the table at the Texas Road House and instead of cleaning it up the staff dumped a bunch of peanuts on the mess on the floor. It worked but all the customers walked by looked at me like I was pig that eat a mountain of peanuts and there the shells on the floor.

Thing is, every acute episode eventually goes away...People eventually get through the bout, no matter how much it sucks.
