My elderly parents frequently ate Stouffers frozen meals and added canned or fresh fruit , applesauce or salads. My dad had Alzheimer’s and my mother was his caregiver. Even with help there was a lot to do. Stouffer’s made things easier for them.

My grandparents did that too. Stouffer's lasagna, spaghetti, mac and cheese, those were their favorites. Or on occasion their french bread pizzas. They'd have a salad or vegetable along with them, and some ice cream afterwards. Pop liked a big hunk of buttered Italian bread with the spaghetti, and a glass of cheap wine after.

The chicken, even though microwaved, was crunchy on the outside, tender & moist on the inside, the corn AND the mac & cheese were not half water! So I figured it was a fluke & have bought then twice since- all the same happy results!! One of my go-to meal in frozen foods now as I'm disabled & cooking is more a chore than the joy it was... When I was growing up, we loved eating Banquets Frozen TV Dinners. It was not something we had every day. Mom cooked mostly home cooked meals, but a couple of times a month we got to have TV dinners! My favorite was the meat loaf dinner or the Turkey Pot Pie with top and bottom crust. Even now, I will occasionally get a TV dinner or a Turkey Pot Pie. Yes, I know the portions are small, and it's really not all that "healthy", but it is memories, a feeling of a time when life was less stressful, it is pure comfort food. I like Stoffer's, but will take a cheap Banquet frozen dinner any day. The narrator of this video should use less negative comments about the "taste" of the frozen dinners. People work hard at those factories. It's how they make a living. Show a little more respect.

Thank you for your bravery. I wouldn't; couldn't do what you did. Please do more - if you dare. By the by, does anyone remember when everything Stouffer's made was so good you honestly would never know it was frozen. You could invite people to your home, serve Stouffer's and pass it off as home cooking, seriously. But I gave up on them long ago; all of their chicken has been "McNuggetized", the Green Pepper Steak - steak my ass - is inedible mystery meat and their mashed potatoes are revolting. I could go on but why bother. The fine and proud name of Stouffer has been tainted and slandered in the name of greed. I guess the secret of making superior frozen food is now lost, perhaps never to be known, gone the way of the Great Pyramids and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

French frozen dinners are WAY better than anything I've seen in the U.S. They DO have macaroni and cheese, though it's called a gratin, and is made with Emmental and topped with bread crumbs. you guys are really sleeping on frozen French bread pizzas. cheap, less sodium more carbs, crispy and delicious. I still keep some in my freezer at all times. Red Baron is the best and least expensive.

I agree Red Barron is the best frozen French Bread pizza. Definitely better than Stouffer's. However, Red Barron is actually more expensive, in my area at least. About a $1 more. Worth it though.

@@iwanttosurvive3992 it use to be that way here and I would go with Lean Cuisine instead but now it's less. I mean only about 17 cents less but that's 17 cents!

@@nettejohnson7492 "all the profits go to charity"...what a classic scam. Profits are what is left after the company places all the charges they can against a product, such as salaries and other "benefits'. Much better is a specified percentage of gross sales...harder to scam the money from that.

In Waslmmart they have Michelina frozen meals that are $1.00 & ate pretty good. My favorite is Beef & pepper over rice. I was actually surprised when I first ate one.

I love Michelina's frozen meals! My favorite is Fettuccine Alfredo, especially the one with broccoli. The Swedish Meatballs are good, too. And you can usually get them for $1.00 at most stores here in Southern California.

OMG Thought I was the only one losing their mind! YOU NAILED these horrific frozen meals. So bad I bought an Instant Pot so I could have a meal in 20 min LOL... loved your video great job! Oh and for some you can combine MW with air fryer to get the crispy skin... but that won't fix the ones with bad flavor or fake meat

There is no 'fake meat' in any of these dinners. All the entrails and beef byproducts used in them comes from animals. The reason Con Agra and Nestle's can deliver so much delicious meat so cheap is cuz they use 'downer' livestock, which is either dead or dying when slaughtered and mechanically deboned.
My Hungry Man riblet dinner had only 2310 mg's sodium and 12 gms of corn syrup, adding some salt helps eliminate the blandness, making it almost as tasty as a McRib.
McNuggets have 23 ingrediants in them, which insures that those folks that eat only them have a balanced diet.
Finally, never forget to SUPERSIZE ME! ☠

The only tv dinner I ever enjoyed was the boil in the bag veal patrician. The 'veal' was not real but it had good Italian flavor/cheese. I think they stopped making them in the 80's
