- Fable 2 was a great game but there were also some things that kinda sucked. Today I'll be going over 20 things I loved about Fable 2, and 10 things that sucked. Do you agree with my list?

i know it was a joke but honestly that's kinda why i don't care for ps exclusives yes there well acted and the animation is well made and the graphics are very good, but theirs basically no replay ability or deviation and they basically all consist of a back pack system, generic collectibles a basic crafting system (allot like assassins creed or better dead space), quick time events you can just watch it on you tube and be happy. ok xbox hasn't got allot in the past few years but its exclusives are Halo a sandbox game with forge world, firefight and a unique multiplayer, and fable a open world game with tons of charm decent Replay ability, choice and good world to explore. Now its even gonna have Bethesda exclusives. just think there's more value out of thous few exclusives and the 3rd party titles than you get out of ps exclusives.
The fact that we never got a chance to kill Reaver in Fable 2 or 3 is a CRIME.

The dog was a little annoying when it glitched out as you tried to find a mission dig spot or randomly dissapeared at times, but it was nice to have a companion beside you throughout the game

In my opinion, I wasnt too bothered about the removal of armour. It made wearing your own choice of outfit a real option, whereas in Fable 1 your outfit choice was plate armours A, B or C. And if you want a lore reason, armour dosen't stop bullets so might as well look good whilst having a golf ball sized hole blasted through you.
The one thing I absolutely hate in fable 2 are the villagers. They don't know the meaning of personal space they openly insult you on your looks and fashion or downright become a cult and follow you around worshipping the ground you walk on. Unless your evil then they whine about how you're so evil and then that one villager who decides hey there's that evil heroes dog let me kick it! Ending in the entire town getting murdered. Nobody kicks Mr Fluffers and gets away with it.
And when our character is very attractive, everyone keep asking for a ring to have a engagement even though we never spoke to that person before.

And omg, they won't leave the fucking house if they like your character, I wish so badly that doors could be opened and closed, instead of just forever open! I hate killing NPCs, ever, but them not leaving my home when I'm trying to speak to my spouse, is pushing me to stop caring after a while of trying to get them to leave my homes.
Fr it's like you have to choose between having Villagers Idolize you and won't stop following you asking for marriage or having Villagers Fear you running away and not allowing you to even interact but in my evil playthrough I would give the idolized annoying villagers the "follow me" command and take them to the temple of shadows to sacrifice them
Speaking of the family dynamic, I loved that part where your kid gets kidnapped by Hobbes. I didn't know about it and it really scared me when I got home to find out my son was missing. 😱 I killed every hobbe to get him back. My most heroic moment, even better than the "boss battle." I wish there was more family interaction like that. 🤩

If you didn’t like the dog in F2 we can’t be friends
According to the devs they had a really hard time programming the dogs and concluded with "Dogs act like this sometimes"

On my evil playthroughs I take the gold at the end then go resurrect my dog at knothole island
Ik it’s sad story wise that rose stays dead but it’s honestly meant to be
It’s been years since the player had seen her and she was being brought back as a child with the last memories she had was of getting shot and killed.
It’d be traumatic and existential especially for a child.
R.I.P. to her but I don’t think she should come back
Removing armor is one of the best decisions.

Personally, I don't agree with the armour statement. Now I know some internet stranger's opinion doesn't mean anything, hear me out for a sec.
The thing about armour is that one way or another, every single person is going to revert to the armour with the highest stats. With clothing and dyes, anyone can look like whatever they want, whenever. And with how cheap clothing is, it's really easy to swap out your look with another on the fly. Idk, just my opinion, I completely respect yours.
I liked the removal of Armor, it meant you could wear what you wanted and not just whatever had the highest stats
When it comes to strength, I never went past lvl 2. This was enough strength to improve damage while keeping a female still looking female. The exception was going to the spire. In that case, I maxed out strength turning females into hulks in skirts.
lol the christmas horror house in the demon door was my first jumpscare in a game lol
Also, I am a man, but I always play as a female in literally every game where I have the choice lol.
I often do.
If I am going to spend many hours watching my character's ass, most times I would prefer it to be a female ass.
I love playing as both genders.
Or Character Customization.

But to comment on this list for my opinion lol.
1) I didn't like the dog personally. Just felt it as annoying haha. But the story was...weak due to the dog.

4) agreed here too, but i also just liked 'bow' and the cool weapons in fable 1

But you 'could' give your friend gold. which i did to my 15 year old nephew when he 'wanted to try fable' because me telling him he 'had to get a job in the game to earn money' made him say 'why would i want to play that'. so to entertain a 15 year old when i was 20, it worked out...perfect lol.
11) yeah i think that option worked perfect. i think the end potion was 'interesting' at the end, but i think it should have been a side-quest capable at anytime of the game for that one person who just said 'shit there's a question that can only be done in this gender!'
12) SAME. That's why i hated lionhead when they were creating them. they tried to make every character 'cartoon/ugly' on purpose. they thought it would be 'more funny'.
13) Yeah, I think it worked well. didn't like the trillions of useless expressions though haha.
14) agreed 1000%. Plus you can actually get STDs or have kids lmfao

26) Ehhhh 100% disagree there bud lol. I hated the story. Felt it was super bland to me. I could replay the game because every playthrough can be different -- but the story was just...not fun to me lol. Plus I HATE the spire
27) disagreed again, also hated the characters haha. "Hammer" like wtf is this lol who names their kid hammer. I did like Lucien, but it still wasn't...like Jack haha.. I want a very just messed up villain. Someone that's crazy.

30) I HATED that they removed armor. It's what really made me upset with the game at first, then everything compiled on top of it. It turned from an "RPG" into an adventure class game to me

Gotta agree with the whole more open areas and traversal options but I wish it’ll be expanded upon in fable 4 like breath of the wild and I hope our character controls in a way that’s similar to how they used to play but updated with new and upgraded elements for the new open world
I wish we could have shown children effective.
Also it would be cool if we met A Witch after defeating Lucian we should have met a Witch wh grants us a wish revive two lives and if you choose to revive everyone who Lucian murdered then you can choose Rose and your dog.

Not yet. I was going to do one but the scripting/editing would’ve been too much so I thought I’d make a series of it instead.
Something like “how I’d improve the morality system” or “How I’d improve the open-world” or “How I’d write the story” etc... Something like that so I can cover all bases in more depth. I dunno, maybe that’s dumb. Thanks for watching, sorry for the essay haha.

Things, I like about Fable 2
I like the Gameplay.
I hate how everything is too easy to beat. XD
I love having a animal companion with you at all times.
I also love how you get to name your companion.
Put a collar on them.
Feed them a treat.
Tell them how good they are.
I love Male and Female Gender's.
I love how you get to even change your sex if you want to drink the Sex Change Potion inside the Castle.
Having kids is great!
You get to dye your hair and clothing options.
Tattoos just like the First Fable. =)
Now...
Things, I hate about Fable 2
I hate the Story.
I just feel the story isn't as exciting as the First Fable story was.
Clothing in this game really sucks... hardly any good ones.
Spells sucks.
Not as interesting nor powerful looking like in the First Fable.
Can't marry any important NPC's like Reaver.
Force to marry ugly same character model NPC's.
Removal of Armour.
No Bows nor Arrows.
No other Heroes.
Can't see Rose nor your Parents at all.

@@sirwaddleton7328 Really? Growing up I never had it, but I just rebought the game on game pass and the DLC, that's good to know.
The DLC I think you forgot to say something about the DLC they say that you're able to bring back your sister but yet you can't see her again it's like what the f*** what was the point of bringing your back then if I can't ever see her again? What happened to your character's parents after they ran away? Did your character ever find them and hunt them down and get revenge for what happened? There's a lot of questions in this game and in the first and in the third there are so many questions in this series that he left open I feel like he got rushed towards the beginning middle and end of the story if only they were allowed to make mini games like borderlands did with pre-sequels and stuff like that to give us a little more info on what happened like oakvale destroying the guild I would love to have been able to I don't know choose a side lose because of the story you saying that you're going to lose as a hero being forced to fight in the arena till the death. Like when we fought whisper for some of us who decided to do the evil ending as well.

Yeah right nah I actually will because I want to be able to play the entire series with him 1 2 3 the entire thing possibly Fable 4 if it stays with the same look style as the others so far it does not look like that so I'm not sure if I'm going to play it

Reason why they removed armor in my belief is because of the world's industrial progression. The issuance of guns in the game, like the real world, is that bullet goes through plate. Once guns become a large part of warfare there is no longer a need for heavy plated armor. So I agree with the world design removing armor, however they could've still added more things like breastplates, but they would've probably looked stupid like the Ranger attire, which just made you look fat no matter what you did.
I'm trying to learn how to code and stuff to make a personal version of the game on Unreal engine, I lack talent and havent got anything to really show yet though. Especially because I suck xd

7:54 I will say on the Xbox series X Fable 2 looks incredible! It's got some emulation upgrades that really do a lot for it

Fable 3: X things I LOVE but X things I HATE when?
Fable ll had better graphics, a larger world, the emote wheel, a decent story, clothes that had variety, guns/pistols, gargoyles, gnomes, hairstyle etc. Fable ll's magic list was terrible and a MASSIVE downgrade from Fable's. Losing armor and stats was terrible too. The loss of medieval vibe killed the game. The lack of Heroes and killable ones was awful. No boasts and Hero's Guild was bleh.
Yeah it’s odd. Fable 2 made some great improvements but it also made some “great” downgrades😅 thanks for watching :)
To be honest I don't think they actually could have changed the magic and made it better mainly because if you think about it the whole series is based on bloodline because of your related to the original character who created magic "Will". It's even part of his name you meet him later on in fable lost chapters or Fable anniversary he's at old decaying looking guy he changed his name if you actually look around it's very hard to notice to be honest but yeah it's all based on a bloodline and over time the bloodline got weaker meaning your magic power got weaker just like in Fable 3 they're basically isn't any your bloodline is deluded so little that there's pretty much nothing of Will in ya.

The funny thing is for fable it has the same kind of idea as dark souls in dark souls magic and Faith was extremely strong in the first game and then got weaker as time went on mainly because you're forgetting how to do it and you're only remembering small bits and passing it down over time smaller and smaller the knowledge got kind of like the bloodline in Fable just kept getting more and more diluted
