Beautiful! Allison sings this so brilliantly. Josh is a sensitive and skillful accompanist, and between them this is one of the best versions of “Crazy” I’ve heard.
Yes. It's a ballad. It's a simple, wholesome ballad that does best with a simple arrangement. The vocal needs a clear wholesome tone, with no tricks or trills, with a sweet, simple accompaniment. A beautiful rendition of a perfect American song.
WOW! Just WOW! As a life long musician and singer now in my late 60s, I can honestly say that is one of the best renditions of a fabulous song I have ever heard, and I've heard a lot. The guitar work was terrific, just right for Allison's voice and presentation of the song. 10 out of 10 stars.
So here you have it- talent. No sequencing, auto tune, samples- just two talented young people with impeccably good taste in song selection and a zoom recorder. Great job!
I agree, losers use autotune. That may sound a bit cocky, but I'm a singer myself, and songwriter. It sounds weak, fake, contrived, and plastic. Sing without that garbage

I love listening to those two. They’re in such perfect harmony with one another. There’s so respect of each other’s talents, and it’s such a pleasure to watch.
Just amazing! Allison renders a heartfelt and sweet performance with NO unnecessary embellishments (like a lot of young singers do), but just lets her beautiful voice and style do the talking (er, singing). Josh composes another unbelievably creative arrangement on guitar (and plays it superbly) and then gets out of the way to let Allison shine. The duo whistling is the icing on the cake! Thank you, you two, for sharing this. I listen to it about once a week these days - one of my favorite music videos to always go back to
Allison Young has her own channel and her wonderful personality comes out when she describes that she loves wearing vintage clothing which she gets in thrift stores because that's about the only place that sells it. Also her red hair is really hers. Not to freak you out but I think she is an old soul reincarnated.

First, Allison has a beautiful voice, but the accompaniment guitar work is fantastic. Josh knows just what and when to play, never too much. never too little. Josh, you are truly a gifted player. The comping, and grace notes that you add are really working in this tune. Seriously, a great job and both of you nailed it perfectly.

Don't know. I really like Allison, but Kelly, Larkin, Leah, and others are also really good. This is a very nice combination of singer and song. Probably because Josh manages his channel really well
Josh, I absolutely love whst you've come up with on the guitar part gor yhis classic. It really captures the sultry, laid-back feeling of the original while still making it your own. Nice job of combining the backing chords with very well done rythm produced by your finger picking style . Not overly busy but warm and sincere - obviously felt as much as it was played. Also, Allison has the perfect voice for this - again staying true to the original while making it her own. Were you two out busking with this, I would definitely stop, listen, clap warmly and throw a couple dollars in the case. Nice job! Well done!

Wow!!! Another great singer named Alison
Kid your friends and you bring back some good times to an old man. Thanks.
During a time like this for me to get to set in with such great talent as this was incredible. 50 years on the drum kit, and loved every minute of this . Because of the wonders of our world now, I was able to add, with the new kit of Roland higher up kit, the durms. A real guitarist, with the beauty of that voice...Wow! Please keep this going.
There are simply inadequate adjectives to describe the splendor and beauty of this.
You kids are "CRAZY" good! Best rendition I've heard in decades. Thanx for sharing
The best female singer so far you've featured, Josh.
Nice job! Well done!
You killed this! Wow! This is so good on so many levels. They way you hold those melancholy notes is breathtaking . Those sultry notes are mind blowing. Well done!
Oh my God the key change was amazing! Just amazing, guys! You nailed it!
