You might put a clothespin or binder clip on the wire and lug temporarily to keep them from going back into the holes in the back of the oven.

Great video! Unfortunately this was my reality: The nuts were so corroded and seized there was nothing for the nut driver to grab ahold of. It took half an hour to drill them out. Then while GENTLY pulling the element out, one of the wires became detached and lost in the back of the oven. I spent another 20 backbreaking minutes trying to fish it out with needle nose pliers, but I got it! Then I had to find something to replace the screws with. So it took about an hour to do a 4 1/2 minute job.

Are you referring to the wires? If so you would need to move the stove so you can gain access to the back of back panel remove that and find those wires and feed them back through so you can hook them the element. We would suggest so that doesn't happen is to put like a clothes pin or something like that on the wires to help prevent them from falling out.

It is recommended to remove the door just so you don't break it, the glass, or anything else on the door and you end up having to replace any of those parts as well.
