#1--No mention of how you determined the correct element to buy beforehand.
#2--after installing the new element and before putting the bottom shelf back on, you can quickly power on the oven to see if the new element gets hot and glows red.

I have a tiny hole in the oven bottom and the bottom looks rusty. Have you heard of that issue before? I can see a glimpse of the heating element thru it.

My top element is reading at around 44 ohms and the bottom element is around 14. Should I go ahead with replacing, or could it possibly be the control board? If I set my oven to any temperature, it never seems to get higher than 210 degrees. It was fine for years and out of no where I started having this issue

Would it be safe for me to remove the grease clogged baking element insulation at the back of the stove(caused from a loose baking element), and replace it with some insulation that is in good shape that I got from another oven? Thanks!
