- There's a big tower jutting out of the Plains. The only sensible thing to do is climb it.
Be mindful that I'd like to experience as much of this fresh as possible. No spoilers please.
Give tips when:
- I ask for them.
- I'm doing something wrong.
- I could be doing something better.
DON'T give tips when:
- They spoil the surprise or joy of discovery.
- They're about things I haven't seen, unlocked, or otherwise shouldn't know about yet.
- Finding out the hard way seems like more fun ;)

Guess you now know what comes first XD
Congrat's on conquering the tower.
Cracking episode. I have to say, that was the largest camp I have ever seen. A little tip regarding the destruction of the camps. Put down a work bench, repair everything and then destroy the chests and tanning racks etc. It should return the full cost of the items.
That's not accurate. You don't get more resources back from repaired structure items. Structures in the wild are coded to always return a limited number of resources regardless of their state. As opposed to items you build which always return full resources.
@@trengilly01 Agreed
I think I tried this on a chest at one point and they returned the same amount of resources. Awesome idea but I guess furlings are shoddy craftsmen.
As frustrating as it is to accidentally build rather than upgrade a weapon, mount it on a wall as a decoration piece, and in the event you die and lose your gear, that's a back-up sword...
Fun episode Blondie, good one!
I thought of that afterward. Dammit 😝
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie 😂😂oh well, unfortunately there might well be a next time (I still occasionally do that) so at least you have a use for spare weapons in the future… 👍👍
Oh the cheese strats...
It’s gouda for you…
There is nothing...NOTHING more annoying and utterly frustrating than crafting when you meant to upgrade. It has happened to me several times and has led me to farm more resources than I actually need. I totally feel your pain on this one.
It happens in the blink of an eye, too. I don’t even recall how it could have happened, I swear I clicked the Upgrade tab.
There is a growing thesis in MY Valheim that AOE, at least in certain situations as far as materials is concerned, has some multiplier applied to the net return. That large pile of iron bars all in one spot around the wall from where you were hammering seems to be more evidence for this phenomenon. The place I've often noted it is in frost caves.
Interesting observation. I might try this out on the next tower.
Yeah, we've all crafted things by accident when we intended to upgrade. Thankfully in your case you have more black metal than you know what to do with so no harm done.
If you catch your mistake quickly you can click on the crafting button before it completes and stop the build.
Alas, not this time but the black metal is flowing so the mistake wasn’t costly.
Six is the most Berserkers I've seen in a village. But the worst I had was a village with two 2-Star berserkers, both drew aggro at once of course. That was exciting. 😟😟
Yikes.... Run!!!
Damn, that’s nasty. 😧
