I am against putting up Christmas trees too early. I wouldn’t do it. But I am so glad that you guys enjoy, get get to put your tree up when you want to. So I hope you enjoy it very much.
When I was younger, I put up four trees and all kinds of decoration, now I’m 75 and I just put up a tabletop tree and a few decorations. Good for you, you do you and let the naysayers go humbug

We really enjoyed spending the evening, night and morning with you all. Trick or treating was fun just being with you and playing with the kids after. Wish we could have hung around today for the tree decorating. We are thrilled to have found our dream farm and to be so near you all. The tree looks absolutely gorgeous as well as the entire farm. It’s okay to have your tree up. I’ve had mine up for 3 weeks. Even did a video of it. I made it a fall tree and I will change the decoration in a few weeks for Christmas. It puts you in the spirit of joyfulness. In January I take the Christmas deco off and put snowflakes to make it a winter tree. Feb I make it a heart tree. Etc.

Jen I know how you feel we moved into our present home 5 years ago this year two weeks before Xmas and we bought a new tree also we went from a 6 ft tree to a 9 ft tree because we have 12 ft ceilings. Your tree is gorgeous wish I had your decorating skills.

Yasssss! Yassssssss!!!!! I love y'all so much for this! I've been watching Christmas movies since October 1st and started the Christmas music today. I absolutely do not care what others may say. I can get in the Christmas mood and still celebrate Thanksgiving and such. The decorations are BEAUTIFUL!! I love it...I really do.
We are putting our tree up this week too! Usually we do it the day after Thanksgiving, but for some reason we just want a longer time to enjoy it. Your decorations look so inviting, glad you are enjoying your new home.

I can definitely feel my heart yearning for Christmas. It is fun and exciting to make the switch to the Christmas season every year. But this year it is different. It is almost like a bit of normalcy and a safe place of peace and heart rest in a year that most of us would like to forget. However, the struggles we have been through in 2020 seem to have made the coming Christmas season even sweeter and more meaningful that it has been in the past. We easily see what really matters in our lives and being without our loved ones earlier this year makes being with them a recognizably precious time. I feel it too.

I'm in the country and we have one family that put up tree, outside lights, decorated porch railings, yard decorations all 2 weeks ago. It makes me smile every time I go by.

Putting up our tree and decorations the weekend of November 14th to the 16th....we do almost every year the first weekend after Rememberance day.....I'm getting so excited to do ours after this video and I totally agree with you about 2020 being a rough year....we had a lot of death in our family this year and surprisingly, not one was from this pandemic, lots of bad luck and bad things happened with us, and just everything going on in the world as well....my kiddies, the 4 younger ones still at home love when we get all ready for Christmas!! We definitely need it this year....love from our family to yours.....stay happy and be safe ❤❤💕

Just want to thank you all you made my day ! I'm disabled now and was having a hard day . I started watching and I love the pigs they made me giggle. Then the Christmas tree which is beautiful. After all that I smiled thank you for making me feel better.

Yes!!! I thought I was the only one who wanted to decorate for Christmas today hahaha haha. It's absolutely gorgeous. I love you all Channel and super excited that the pigs found a good home. I am so looking forward to having my own Homestead . This year because my dad passed away on the 25th of July I was not going to decorate for Christmas but watching your video made me remember that my dad loved decorating for Christmas and he loved how it all looked with all the lights lit. So I will definitely be putting up Christmas decorations and a Christmas tree this year. Unfortunately the tree we've had for a long time is too old that we will get a new one and still have that wonderful feeling of Christmas for my dad and the family
When they're tiny like that, pick them up by their tail. They don't squeal, it doesn't hurt them and Momma doesn't get upset.
My grandpa raised pigs. He taught us kids (back in the 60's & 70's ) to help him pull piglets out of the pins. When it came time to take them to market, we'd pick them up over the fences by their tails, while the sows were being fed as quickly as we could, so they could be placed in a crate.
When my son first started raising pigs an older gentleman told me that. And it sure works

I usually put up my tree on Dec 1st. This year I am starting to decorate tomorrow. My parents live with me. They are 89 and 91 and my Mum wanted to do it now. And what Momma wants Momma gets!!!

We put up our tree last week, but we did thanksgiving/fall decorations on it. Then after Thanksgiving we will change out the decorations for Christmas. My kids were so excited to have it up.

Love the tree and all the decorations. Our tree goes up November 14th - the day after my hubby leaves for 2 weeks of deer camp. It only has the lights on it until the day after Thanksgiving and then ornaments go on and house gets fully decorated over the weekend. It's going to be different for us this year as we've had a son and his 3 kids move back in with us for awhile! Kids are here every other week and they are excited to decorate their area in the basement and help do things up here with me. I'd put it all up right now if hubs would let me!
