Wooo lets go! I love this series ! I'm working on my first spartan suit and these videos give me really good insight on what I need to do! Keep up the good work 👍
yooooooooooooooo🔥 been waiting for this, ive actually been learning alot from these videos, ive almost made my own first helmet, i just need to finish sanding it but im going to try the bondo , acetone thing
@cypher8691 I just updated my description to have the link for where I found them👍🏼 but I got them on Cgtrader from a modeler named NerdForgeDesigns. Hope this helps!
If your just starting I would dive deep into 405th forums to see how others build their suits as well, you can see the pros and cons and come up with an idea on how you want to approach it. Foam & 3D print seems to be the most common. For where to start on a suit, I would do the helmet because for me I like the satisfaction of it lol but that’s just me
Hey there, great video! I'm using that same file and was wondering if you were going to use the abdomen piece for anything. Apparently you can print out flexible filament, but I would almost rather make the abdomen with foam and fabric. Just curious what your plans were. Keep up the good work! 👍
Yes actually! I’ve been back and forth on this for how I’d go about it. I’m experimenting with flexible PLA for the neck seal and if that goes well I may do the abdomen, since the inner thighs also need it too
I used nerdforgedesigns models that are on Cgtrader, they should still be listed. Just make sure you scale them to yourself as everyone’s a little different👍🏼
Please help me. I got the camera set up, the money. I just need some guidance and proper information. Is this complicated? How long would it take for a beginner to become advanced
I'm sorry, I'm not quite understanding. Is it from beginner to advanced in building armor or camera work? Either way, all it takes is being proactive about learning and practicing. That way, you should be able to get ahold of it quickly. Hope this helps!
@@isaacdprojects sorry. to clearify i meant the 3d printing. i want to get into it but have no idea where to start knowing nothing. thanks for the advice
gonna try this with fiberglass, to make it somewhat bullet proof
That's actually a good idea, I was thinking of reinforcing the inside with fiberglass for added structure
Looks sweet! I can’t wait to print spartan armour.
Thank you! Best of luck with your build!
Can't wait to see the rest of the armor!
Thank you!

Thank you! That’s exciting to hear! I’d be happy to see how it turns out too🙏🏼
also where did you get your files

What helmet are you making? I'm currently printing my first helmet too. I went with the EOD
That’s a great choice! I haven’t chosen at the moment, I will probably put up a poll to see what you all would like to see built the most
Could you do a tutorial on the under suit? Id love to see the actually process and set up of the straps and buckles to wear the armor 11:47
Ordered my helmet, now time to make some Armor, when i can get my neptune 4 max :,)
Cant wait to join the club! UK Spartan Gang
Best of luck! It's definitely a process for sure, but worth all the effort
Love these videos man! Cant wait for the next one
Thank you so much! I hope to get the next one out quicker this time🙏🏼
Looking forward to seeing the rest of your armor build
Thank you!
now the sudden thought to test what medal fabs would be bullet proof
Awesome update, can't wait to see how this turns out
Thank you! I need to finish the other parts soon, but once I do I'll update the channel!
I feel you could have do a two layer, a metallic ish layer and the paint layer. That way when the normal wearing worn it, it'd look more natural.
Thanks for the thought! I’ll have to try that
@@isaacdprojects kind of learned it from Adam savage, the king of cosplays (as a public figure) and classic Hollywood model making
Love the build series, going to try and build my own halo armor as well.
Best of luck! It's a long process, but it'll pay off!
@@isaacdprojects thanks man, and advice on where to start?

@@isaacdprojects i will check it out thanks! Hoping the forums have good stuff!
great job! would love to see how you did your chest piece, also what color paint did you go with for the armor?
Looking sweetttt…. Did the bondo paint mix actually work better?
Yes it did actually!

i have a Question, since i do not live on the States, that Acetone is the same one that the women use for her nails?
Yeah it's basically just the nail polish remover lol my wife actually let me borrow some when I was cleaning some tools
When's the next build video? 👀👀👀👀
How did you attach the boots armour parts to your normal boots? It’s driving me crazy
what did you use to secure the straps to the insidess of the legs?
I super glued some 2in buckles that I found on Amazon, it's well hidden, but attaches to my belt
Hi what 3D file did u use
I like the look / sizing of these leg pieces ?
I used nerdforgedesigns models that are on Cgtrader, they should still be listed. Just make sure you scale them to yourself as everyone’s a little different👍🏼
Which program did you use for sizing
For sizing I used armorsmith, I had to get all my measurements myself but it allows you to put your info there
