Creality K1 Max First Impressions & Review!!
Hi Everyone! So this is a little different then my usual videos. For the last month or so I have been trying out Crealitys new K1 Max. Although hopeful at first, I had many issues from the start. I'll highlight some of the issues I ran into that can hopefully help you in your decision before purchasing one. I feel the unit I received may have been faulty to begin with, many other users have had major successes with full prints. IF you are looking to get one, I would HIGHLY recommend buying from a vendor that has a hassle free return policy (Incase your unit is faulty like mine was). This would of saved me the majority of the headache I had so I did not have to wait over a month to return it. Thank you for watching my video and please feel free to ask any questions in the comments below!

How to Make a Mirrored Visor Under $20

Hi everyone! So as I continue to work on my EOD Helmet, I thought I'd make a short video on how I create my visors. It's budget friendly; all you really need are some clear dividers that go in a 3 ring binder and some mirrored film you can find on the link below! If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments below and I'll be happy to answer any feedback. One Way Mirror Win...

Hi everyone! So this is the final part of my "Commando" build series from Halo Reach. I'm redoing some of the sanding by trying out glazing spot putty, wet sanding, and finally getting to the weathering! It's been a fun two months working on this, but I'm very satisfied with the final look. I thank all of you who have been keeping up with this! Please let me know what other helmets you'd like t...

      I'm sorry, I'm not quite understanding. Is it from beginner to advanced in building armor or camera work? Either way, all it takes is being proactive about learning and practicing. That way, you should be able to get ahold of it quickly. Hope this helps!

    Did you have to scale any of the models or did you just print it as it came in? I've started my 3D print today. I have a 22 inch diameter head.

    • @isaacdprojects
      @isaacdprojects 2 місяці тому

      I use a couple of programs I have; I also measured my head to reference. I usually scale, just to be safe, because I've had bad luck before when I print something either too large or small

    This is legitimately awesome, I just acquired a vacuum former and I am going to 3D print the "buck"/mold for the visor, and use your technique here for the mirror tint because yours turned out so good. I'm making an mkv armor suit and mkVI helmet, and this will help me immensely and seems simpler than trying to dye for color and paint the one way mirror coating on.

    • @isaacdprojects
      @isaacdprojects 4 місяці тому

      Thank you so much! I just got a vacuum former too, and I hope to use it on some of the newer helmets released during the operations. Lots of options lol but happy to help! There are lots of ways to achieve the same result for visors

    would this work for a motorcycle helmet visor?

      That's a good question! So this helmet is from Aguilar Workshop and actually has a slot for the visor which holds it in place, it can be easily removed since the visor is a bit flimsy but putting it back on might be hard if your wearing the helmet

    How much do you sand before the primer? I'm making a mark v zeta helmet and very close to having all of the pieces printed.

    • @isaacdprojects
      @isaacdprojects 4 місяці тому

      I sand once each face of the print, 80 Grit is pretty coarse, so it gets the job done fast. It also lets the primer fill evenly once it's sprayed. Hope this helps! Best of luck on your Mark V Zeta!

    • @isaacdprojects
      @isaacdprojects 4 місяці тому

      That's a tough one, I bought a vacuum former to try and see if I can do some helmets like that. But try looking at the blogs posted by Aguilar Workshops on making a resin cast of Emile's helmet. It's basically printing a negative and pouring resin. It's more cost-effective, but I'm sure some trial and error to get it perfect

    beautiful work mate gonna get a 3d printer soon and thinking of making some ODST gear What material is used for the visor? Do you reckon it'd be able to be used for the ODST Visor (with it's weird bits at the front) like in the ODST game? Edit: Just found your visor video xd

    • @isaacdprojects

      Haha🤣 Sorry for the late reply, but yes the material is in the other video. For an ODST visor I’ve seen people have luck using a hair dryer to form it around a buck? But I myself just got a vacuum former to try and get them done since it has those creases
