Laughed so hard at the breakage, ALL you had to do was get from one side to the other. Great comedy timing and love the movie clips and edit. Looking forward to the next one.
That's amazing, great work! I used a plastic welder to stick large pieces together. It melts a piece of wiggly wire into the plastic on the inside of the print and creates a strong bond. You could then go over the seam with your soldering iron.
I'm happy to hear some of the troubles with this process, especially the helmet as I also plan to make a spartan cosplay using the standard version of the Galactic Armory's Reach EVA.
Definitely, then you know what to expect! If I was to do this again (which I am) I would keep trying everything on over and over again and give yourself plenty of time and rest runs!
It’s a learning curve for sure, but definitely a good option! I’m going to be releasing a video in the next month or so comparing vacuum formed visors against resin visors :) Feel free to drop us a message on Instagram, I’d love to see how your security helmet turned out
Glad it could help! If you need any questions answering please drop us a message either here or on instagram! :) we reply to them all and do our best to help!
Awesome build, I'm currently in the process of making my own Emile Armor and was curious what your print settings were as I also own an elegoo. Overall amazing armor!
Most of the printing was 4 walls, 15% Gyroid infill :) I’d likely go higher on parts with higher stress though, possibly 5-8 walls! Everything was .2 layer height also :) Thank you! I’d love to see your Emile progress
@@DraconiumProps what about supports especially for the helmet and chest pieces, I can't seem to get mine to stick to the build plate and stay strong enough for the the armor piece?
For supports I used 10% density at around 45 degrees :) mainly tree supports I wasn’t super concerned with saving material, but everything was supported nicely! I used brims and rafts sometimes too to help with adhesion :)
Hey do you know any people or websites that make custom armor or more specifically Halo armor and you could give them a design you want and then they make it?
Very well, I had taken a little break to make some other things and started Carter around 6 weeks ago (roughly). I've been mainly printing the DMR and finishing the Helmet - The Helmet is almost almost done and has had a lot of new things put into the build, and it will be a video on it's own to kick off the new series! :) I've been posting progress on my Instagram @DraconiumProps
5:03 heh... heh-heh... Heh-heh-heh... HA! HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! WOOOOOOOO! I'm in the middle of a 3d print my self for Momocon next year and BOY! I just need to go through 2 more stages and I am golden!
@@DraconiumProps I am in the process of creating the Blue Centurion from Power Rangers Turbo. I have the parts printed out, but I'm trying to prep the parts for paint while the weather is still warm. I also need to create the resin parts for the lights. All of this is part of stage 1. Stage two will be focusing on the programming stage where the lights will run in a certain order using Arduino software and Arduino based hardware.
Sounds incredible! Huge Power Ranger fan myself so I’d love to see that! If you drop us an instagram DM id love to follow you and keep up to date with your build!
great build one tip from a halo fan emiles armor is black not steel, silver, aluminum or what ever you used it might of just bin the camera but all in all its great

I just went threw all of this for my War Machine armor! so I feel this, DOWN TO MY SOUL!
It’s all worth it in the end they tell you!😂 I was just watching your Acolyte helmet build last night!
@@DraconiumProps For real? holy hell, that's what's up. thanks for all the support!
You too! I've been wanting to find room in the pipeline for one, an amazing job you did on it!
The masterchussy mousepad is on my list of things to get now
Looks comfy!😂
@@DraconiumProps what’s the website you got it from?
It's not mine, I just found the picture on Google!

Just had this come across my feed, you guys did an excellent job despite the chaos and trails you went though. Wonderful work, keep it up!
Thank you! :) Next up is Carter! i'm hoping it can be a lot more streamline with the lessons learned from Emile!
Looks awesome Spartan and I felt the same pain trying to vacuum form by security helmet for the first time.

But happy to have you here! Thanks for watching and I'm glad you liked it :)
10:18 that really, REALLY hurt my entire ssoul
Me too dude... me too 😭
i have to subscribe for that. nice build. Is it possible to build vacume chamber on my own tho? also will oven be enaught to heat it up?
@@BMS_Private we are building stuff that will be affordable and effective for newer cosplayers and prop makers👌
A lot of people do use an oven for vacuum forming :) with my kit I got some heaters though
@@DraconiumProps o, thank you very much! Hope you hit many views.
Hey do you know any people or websites that make custom armor or more specifically Halo armor and you could give them a design you want and then they make it?
Hey, are you talking about 3D files or a set of finished armor? :)
@@DraconiumProps a set of finished armor like the armor you guys made except of my own custom design and sorry it took me so long to reply
I don’t know if any specific websites, but I would look around for an experienced prop maker that does commissions and reach out to them :)
Can we get the STL files?
The Helmet is from GalacticArmory and the Main Suit is from NerdForgeDesigns on CGTrader :)

what did you used for the visor?
Vacuum formed acrylic :)
