I love the walkthrough of all the pieces and their different attachment points, and I'd love to see the process of actually suiting up to to see it all come together!
I have everything but the belt, the rib armor for the sides, and the back of the hands printed. A few attachments for the shins and thighs are planned but not fully though out.
finally a video with exactly what I need, very comparable to my current fallout nv power armor build in terms of construction so I'm gonna try having my pieces set up like this. Thanks!
@ x4armoury, What is your armour made out of. I ask this because the pieces look so thick. I too, have Halo armour. but it's made very light out of fibreglass; I have to say that yours looks alot more sturdy than mine. Something that I was trying to shoot for.
If your printer can handle it, use ABS. good durability, price, and super easy to smooth with acetone. I used PLA for a different armor, I just had to sand a bit and use a few coats of spray paint primer. You can still see the layer lines, its just harder from a distance
