Given the great colour and apparent low mileage (as well being a manual) you have to wonder why it’s turned up here. These are wonderful cars (I’ve had two) but unless it has a full (and I mean full) service history, that includes coil packs, rotors, regular coolant flushing, dedicated underpinning reviews (bushes and floor pans need proper attention) etc etc., then avoid at all costs. Even at silly money, it’s a journey you may not want to go on without that history. Oh, and you will need to put up with that one piece of really poor design, and that’s the way the entry door felts and rubbers wear away in short order and look pretty horrible. Still not properly resolved by AM.
@leedstown exactly what I said the classic car market is coming to a close another 2 years I reckon. But depreciation is starting to set in from Now. !!!!
A lot of cars that go to auction are because the owner has died or has failing health and its a relatively hassle free way of selling them. This would have been someones toy, not an everyday car.
Love that colour, miles better than the all too common silver ones
I agree, silver for an Aston is like red for Ferrari - too obvious
Lovely, can't beat a nice V8!
Its crazy that 10-15k gets you a mint v8 vantage these days
I’ve had a few, and the service invoices I’ve seen is truly eye watering ! 😫
winner 🤛🏻🔥💯💪🏻
Or you can have a rusty mk1 Ford escort for the same price. Worlds gone mad
Lovely car 😮

Service history very patchy. 7 stamps when it should have more like 18!
£735 a year road tax!!!!!!!
@@SeaandSpeedWatches only the start. ?
Same as my bmw 650i
They were less than £100k new; £80k or so, but then in 2006 that was a lot of money. Still is!
Not convinced they’re all that to drive though.
V8 best
Good it’s a manual ! Sportshift auto quite unpleasant
Agreed but the general transmission balance and meshing is pretty poor and wasn’t fully resolved until about halfway through the 4.7 production.
that is lovely , wonder how much tax and insurance is !!
If you have to ask............................ At this age it won't depreciate and its not expensive to insure. You only live once.

The classic car market in the UK is worth £5.5Bn to the economy.

I’d have it in a v8 heartbeat but it scares me why someone would put it into auction…. I could buy it, but couldn’t afford to repair it.
Or the road tax. 😂😂😂
Very clean MOT history, hardly been used the past 5 years which could be the reason for sale.
