Thank you for making this! Question, does a holster for the 9mm work for the .380 and vice versa? Ive been told by we the people holsters that the 9mm holster will work for the .380 however i am skeptical. any answers would be greatly appreciated!
I own the 380 & 365XL. It depends on the holster. The 9mm will not fit in a 380 holster IF it is actually molded for the 380 (2mm height difference). 380's will fit in 9mm holsters but fit can vary. Sig sells their 9mm holster for the 380 and says it fits with no issue (I emailed asking them about it). I have a T1-M for the 9mm and the 380 has a bit of shift due to the slide height difference. What does recoil-sensitive mean? sensitive to 9mm recoil? to .357 in a snub nose? .50 cal? When they make a small 9 that has .380 recoil, it will be the best selling gun of all time. Carry what you like and can shoot well.
Bersas are great. I have a 380 cc that has been flawless, but the recoil impulse feels sharper than my 9mm p365 and it weighs almost the same while carrying two less of a smaller round. My Bersa is mechanically more accurate than my p365, and has a better trigger than the p365. It just has no sights and 380 is too expensive to practice with compared to 9mm.
I have the regular Bersa Thunder. I bought it way before I bought the Sig p365. There's a big difference in weight and size, and I bet the weight difference would be even greater with the 15 round capacity. The Bersa is also longer than the P365 and much harder to pocket carry, which is my preferred method. I have the P365 in 360 which is even lighter than the 9mm version. So for me, it was a no brainer. The blow back design of the Bersa makes the recoil more apparent than the P365. That's probably why there are very few if any blowbacks in 9mm. The lower recoil makes it easier to do double taps.
Hey Tiberius, does someone make those plug in the mags that can be installed on a 9mm version? Also can you use the 380 slide and drop in a 9mm barrel and 9mm spring assembly? Thanks
WOAH WOAH WOAH.. Can anyone else confirm that new (2023) P365-380's are shipping with the flat-face trigger (instead of the curved one)?? All the stock photos I see online (including Sig Sauer's) show it with the curved one.. If that's the case, then I just got the wrong firearm; I got the p365X because I prefer the flat trigger over the curved one and I'm not comfortable with the idea of a trigger swap/upgrade for my edc (even if it's done by a certified professional).
@@TiberiousGib, oh ok. Thanks for the response/info.. Yeah, I got the P365X and I plan on just gettin the 380 conversion kit. Problem is, the conversion kit is almost as expensive as gettin the whole firearm, but as stated, that curved trigger is a disqualifier for me.
Thanks for the video. Which one do you like better ? The 9 mm or 380? I’m a carpenter, so I’m used to hanging onto tools/lumber all day, so I’m not that concerned about the recoil but I’m wondering if this would be a more accurate then a 9mm.
4:12 " The barrel is bigger because it shots a bigger round" WRONG its the same caliber. I cant understand how somone couldnt recognize this even so he handle both guns and both rounds. The 9mm it thicker because it has much more pressure. The slides are alos not the same. The 9mm slide has more mass.
Making that comment make you feel good? I can feel your insecurity. When I said bigger barrel I didn’t mean the caliber, I meant the mass. I could’ve explained it better but you need to better when you drop comments. Iron sharpens iron my brother
@@TiberiousGib But even that is wrong again. The barrel isnt "bigger" because the 9mm bullets have more mass its because 9mm have much more pressure! 380 is around 21,000 psi while 9mm is around 35-38,000psi. And yes I feel good about my comment.
Well it makes you look like childish. I invite you to block my channel and never watch or comment again. I will pray that you realize the value of constructive criticism and how to act like a man on and off the internet. Once again, iron sharpens iron.
I used to own a 9mm 365 and it was great until I tried to shoot it with any speed in defensive drills. Me and the gun just never got along. I had to go to the bigger Glock 26 to get any kind of effectiveness. But during my “training” I discovered the relative ease in which I could effectively run drills with my 22 TX Taurus. I attribute this to the lack of recoil and my limited grip strength. I plan on renting the 380 as the 365 makes a great pocket pistol! I’m very interested indeed in this gun. Thanks for the review.
I love my P365-380. The only downside is the price of .380 ammo which obviously isn't the gun's fault. Now if they make a P365-380 XL then I'll be in heaven.
The 380 and 9 mm and the 357 magnum and the 38 are all the same size round. .355 The difference is the weight 380 is usually a Shorter 90g with a slightly smaller powder charge and shorter cartridge. The 9 mm is exact same diameter only taller usually a 125g with a taller cartridge and slightly larger powder charge but all in all the same size round. Different pressures and lengths. During the ammo crunch I used 38 special hollow points loaded them in 9 mm brass the only difference is the nose of the round is a soft hollow tip lead which may fall up under multiple use but these rounds function flawlessly through my P 80 and I would do it again no problem probably wouldn’t send him through my Glock though lol OL
9mm and 380 auto are .355” in diameter. 357 magnum and 38 special are .357” in diameter. They are not the same. Depending on the bullet, using a .357 jacketed bullet in a .355 bore can potentially cause a pressure spike.
Now with everything having so much capacity in 9mm I don’t see why I would personally carry the 380 over a 9mm. I am not recoil sensitive. 9mm would be the lowest I would go.
@@TiberiousGib the gun you are able to shoot well and willing to carry every day is the gun you should go for. I carry the 365 9mm but would take a 380 over a sharp stick anyday...

They are not, this one was swapped at the LGS I got it from
@@TiberiousGib, oh ok. Thanks for the response/info.. Yeah, I got the P365X and I plan on just gettin the 380 conversion kit. Problem is, the conversion kit is almost as expensive as gettin the whole firearm, but as stated, that curved trigger is a disqualifier for me.
Is that a boston accent?
Close, Rhode Island
Sig needs to make the p365XL in 380 and not lose the rear sight too when an optic is on it
You can put the p365 380 FCU into an XL grip but I don’t think they make mags
Idk if 380 uses the same extractor as a 9mm but if it does then they shoud sell a conversion barrel for the p365xl and make 380 12 rnd mags too
Good one. Thx!
Thank you
Thanks for the video. Which one do you like better ? The 9 mm or 380? I’m a carpenter, so I’m used to hanging onto tools/lumber all day, so I’m not that concerned about the recoil but I’m wondering if this would be a more accurate then a 9mm.
I recommend 9mm unless the pistol is for someone who is recoil sensitive
Thanks . I appreciate it
@@TiberiousGib what about the weight?
380 is cool but 9mm will always be the best in my opinion.
Indeed
..Depends what and where it's needed ..
@@TiberiousGib Tss learn how to take criticism like man and grow up boy !
i was just chillin on the sofa the other night and my sig jumped up and shot me, right in the fuckin shoulder. Got my lawyer on tha phone fa real.
Damnit Sig 🤣
Hi ,you put a good video out on the sig 365 -380 ,EZ rack ,EZ to shoot,I am older and I have compromise hand strength , Very soft shooter🔫
Thank you 🙏
Solid video!
Thank you 🙌
Love your videos! Keep up the good work!
Why thank you 🙌
Don’t know if someone has already corrected the info on time 2:08… that’s NOT the 380, but the 9mm!!! i love the 380…
BTW… EXCELLENT VIDEO!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Pretty sure that was the 9mm with the curved trigger but anything is possible
Great video
Thanks 🙏
I used to own a 9mm 365 and it was great until I tried to shoot it with any speed in defensive drills. Me and the gun just never got along. I had to go to the bigger Glock 26 to get any kind of effectiveness. But during my “training” I discovered the relative ease in which I could effectively run drills with my 22 TX Taurus. I attribute this to the lack of recoil and my limited grip strength. I plan on renting the 380 as the 365 makes a great pocket pistol! I’m very interested indeed in this gun. Thanks for the review.
Finding the gun that works for you and your hands is very important. Those really small guns are difficult to shoot
I love my P365-380. The only downside is the price of .380 ammo which obviously isn't the gun's fault. Now if they make a P365-380 XL then I'll be in heaven.
The oh can switch the grip but do they make larger 380
Mags?
Bersa has a 15+1 380.
For the 380.
The 15 rounder as a back up would be nice
The 12rd mags work great I have seen videos of people using the 9mm 15rd mags with the 380. military arms channel did but have not tried it myself
I'm just here for your algorithm
You are appreciated 🙌
Who doesn’t love a hotta load? LOL
Exactly 😬🙌
i like your sense of humor(hot loads) lol i subbed
That’s greatly appreciated
@@TiberiousGib how about a review of the red dot for 380 i'm seriously thinking about one
Sorry you have the clap. Great review though
Time for penicillin?

Very true
9mm and 380 auto are .355” in diameter. 357 magnum and 38 special are .357” in diameter. They are not the same. Depending on the bullet, using a .357 jacketed bullet in a .355 bore can potentially cause a pressure spike.
The use of the term recoil sensitive is group think in action. Baa people, say baa.
What????
2.5
I need to step it up
@@TiberiousGib LMAO, just screwing with you
Now with everything having so much capacity in 9mm I don’t see why I would personally carry the 380 over a 9mm. I am not recoil sensitive. 9mm would be the lowest I would go.
The 380 wouldn’t be my first choice but it’s not a bad choice
@@TiberiousGib the gun you are able to shoot well and willing to carry every day is the gun you should go for. I carry the 365 9mm but would take a 380 over a sharp stick anyday...
@@TiberiousGib think they'll make it in 30sc?
.380 is the perfect CCW caliber. Enough to get the job done without over penetration. People who CC have to remember there’s an attorney attached to every round that comes out of the barrel, you’re not in warzone, you’ll most likely be in public with who knows what as a backdrop and you won’t have qualified immunity like the police.
Not sure about perfect, if I have the choice I’ll take 9mm but I like options
Clap was a 3
Damn, I gotta work on that
