      I have been feeling the same. Any chance I can message you to talk about it? As you know it's hard to chat with others who can't relate

    Wonderful video. Loved the part about how we can think I can never have a bad thought again or only ever do good at all times. Which is impossible. I identify with this so much.

    Excellent video, Kirsty! Is it fair to say that Unconditional Self-Acceptance is another step on the recovery journey that is an example of a perspective shift?

    In real event ocd is the event always the way you're thought came in or can it be a false memory linked to a real event?

      Hi, Anne. I have OCD, but mine is something more related to mental rumination. I started therapy a month ago. It's never too late, ¿are you already in therapy? I recommend you 'OCD and Anxiety' UA-cam Chanel. Hope you are doing better. I'm pretty sure our fears have an expiration date, therapy helps us to advance it.

    I'm having a hard time not ruminating trying to figure out if something was real or not. One thing I've noticed recently is I come up with this scenario and then try to find evidence for it. That would make it seem as if it would be forming false memories. Are we supposed to stop trying to figure out if something happened or not?

    • @OCDRecovery
      @OCDRecovery  2 роки тому +4

      Don’t try and work out if it’s real, that’s a compulsion.
