In this video I will show a few different ways of how to remove a stuck mouthpiece from your trumpet or cornet.
Mouthpieces can get stuck easily but they can mostly be removed using these methods.

Lg BeastnSoccer same bruh.... I’m one of those band kids that stays after everyday and once I got a Skittle stuck in my trumpet (don’t ask) and the band teacher was like “I would be mad at you right now if you weren’t one of my favorites.” 😂
@@iamwatchingyou-youhavebigg59 I ended up getting a plastic rod stuck in the bell of my trumpet while trying to clean it (using it to shove a rag tied to a string down the bell. snatched the rag out but the rod bounced and flew back into the bell and got stuck.) luckily, the rod had grooves in the top piece that was closest to the end of the bell (there was a disk shaped piece on the end with grooves saw-style groves in it.) and I got really creative and decided after trying tons of other methods to remove the 3rd valve and run a guitar string through the tubing and out through on of the grooves in the rod. the string was stiff enough to weave its through without something to guide it, thin enough to fit through the groove and the ball on the end of the string allowed me to catch the rod when the rest of the line got through and snatch it out. I got incredibly lucky. it was the weekend so I had some time to try to get it out.

none of these work my music teacher wasn't even able to get it out with the machine so how will i know the guy's in the shop can get it
A teacher's job is to teach you how to play the instrument, not to fix it. A tech's profession however is exactly that. Pulling out stuck mouthpieces is one of the easiest jobs for a professional. So easy in fact that most shops will either charge you very little money for it or nothing at all. They will definitely be able to remove the mouthpiece for you.
Another way is to put a heaven object on the mouthpiece then pull and put your feet on the area. Watch out though your trumpet will come flying back at you when it’s out. It hit my chin and my upper chest.

I put some slide grease on it, put it between my legs, put that against my bed, and twisted it out

Hi, The most common reasons for a mouthpiece to get stuck is: If it is accidentally knocked, gets dropped, or if it hasn't been taken out for a while.

I've only got my own mouthpiece stuck once in 30 years. However, as a teacher I come across this frequently. So far I have always been able to remove them successfully with no issues.
