I’ve had both trucks. The 15 6.7 pulls harder in every aspect imaginable. Love the sound of a 6.7 Cummins though really can’t ever beat it.

You don't really need to build the motor too much unless the microchip that you put on to it is not enough I guess but you can also put oversized injectors everything on your diesel motor and then you have a power more powerful motor

@@owenwilson5657 Not true at all, It has to do with the motor layout. The cummins is an Inline 6, and the powerstroke is a V8. Inline engines make more torque than V engines, BUT, the V engines make more power than the Inline engines.

There's also called a tuner for gasoline trucks I mean it's the same thing as a microchip that way you can control your gas mileage and everything with a control that plugs into your vehicle

As for the Cummins well they’re pretty reliable if ya take care of them and delete all that EPA nonsense out of the truck

Having owned a 2015 Cummins modified with a Fleece Cheetah and now owning a new 2021 F350 Tremor PSD. A modified PSD is a whole different animal along with having a trans that can support the power. Absolutely love it. The new Powerstroke would run away from the Cummins I had.
Give it time. I run both 6.7’s and the Fords cost me a small fortune to keep running. Once we update the fleet in a few years I very highly doubt I’ll ever buy another Ford diesel.
@@ulttra1237 my brothers 6.7 has 306k miles mostly used for towing but the only problem he’s had were Injectors and blown turbo cuz its a 2014 but he went with a s369 which I’m putting in my 16 also, even tho my turbo was fine

Ford straight took it to the dodge. Ive pulled over 10000 pounds a barely felt it full load of wood chips 9 thousand pound chipper pulls easily.

I don’t wanna sound like that kid that’s always talking about his dads stuff but my dad used to have a 03 dodge crew cab flatbed with a dually 5.9 bored out to a 6.4 with 900 hp at the flywheel and 710 are the rear, would’ve absolutely dusted them trucks no problem

I'm a proud owner of a 2021 HO Cummins and I am not the lease suprised the PS won. I have driven both and the the PS is just plain fast. Feels like more of a gas truck with power high in the rpm while Cummins is just torque everywhere
I don't know the gear ratio on either of these trucks , but what ever it is , the Ford with the low pro tires has a lower gear than it should be while the Dodge has a way taller gear with those tires, it will take for ever to speed up on every gear.
@@herygarcia6193 the speed of a Ford is mostly in the transmission. My Cummins with the aisin shifts almost identical to a 6 speed manual. That is it let's off the throttle between gears, takes a full second to make the shift, let's let's clutch out till it feels engagement, and then allows a slow fuel up on boost. It's the slowest shifting trans I ever been in. Also, with no TCM Tuning the truck is constantly down shifts due to low line pressure. Honestly, no matter how much power you add to the aisin, it will only ever run like a 16 second quarter. Basically feels like a 450hp truck

@@garygrunst140 i disagree. I have pulled trailers with a 2019 PS and now my 21 HO Cummins. The Cummins gets about 2 mpg better pulling the same load and transmission stays at 170*. I could cook the Ford tranny trying to pull a hill at the same speed the cummins pulls the hill. Ford is more fun empty, but hook a trailer to it and it's not even close. Try for yourself. I'm not biased, the Ram is simply a better tow truck.

Buddy and I went to Duck Creek Utah....nearly 10,000' in 29 miles.
My PSD pulling a much heavier toyhauler with an extra 2000 pounds of water tote in the bed vs his Cummins pulling a travel trailer.
Trans temps were within 20* of each other....my truck being warmer.
Performance was not even close....he was minutes behind me and couldn't believe how bad I was pulling away.
MPG was about +3 in his favor.
No bias, just an actual experience.

Stock diesel’s are super slow. A stock 6.7 powerstroke has the same 0-60 as my tacoma. Toss a little money in them and they’re animals as you know

Dodge was bone stock except and afc intake which does nothing and no tunes just deleted that’s why it was slow af 😂 he don’t even have a fass or airdog on it
@@KJR-uv6or you gotta have tunes delete but the 68rfe shifts slow with big tires that’s why that ford pulled so hard and the double over drive on the dodge slows it down big time if he really wanted to let it eat he should have manually shifted it.
