Knew he wasnt gonna spool that 480 lol. needs a 472 and studs springs etc.... rest of the rig is pretty much done it seems well put together.
Ya very surprised to hear no springs or rods. A total must after the stock turbo and rpm.

I am on my first diesel from LS stuff. Budget building mine for now. So far I only have 100hp injectors, built trans, 63mm cheetah turbo, and efi live. I thought mine would get it. Yours is gettin it.

I’m surprised that lbz kept up. For being on basically stock fuel and a slighlty modded vgt vs a 1000 hp capable dodge is pretty good!
Tuning is everything my man. box tunes ain’t shit for a big vein turbo with no help to get it lit
@@deerturk88 for sure, I’m sure with some 300% overs and a revised tune it’ll be way more drivable . Also if he could raise the compression by either decking the block or different pistons it’ll light way easier.
Getting a stroker cp3 in those trucks and letting them breathe. They can wind up like an ls while making gobs of torque

Both trucks are equipped with the American Axle Manufacturing (AAM) 11.5 ring gear full floating axle with different gear ratios and differentials and 14 bolt diff cover. GM 2001-2019 RAM 2003-2018!

The only fair way for comparision is swapping both engines into an identical ford chassis and drag racing. Both engines stock. Or stock trucks for fairness

that cummins needs some serious tuning work the timing is way under the turbo probably has way to much timing i had the same issue lighting big turbos when i first started tuning if always add to much timing on those singles you want like low timing so that thing needs to be dialed in a lot

People saying it's crazy a stockish duramax kept up to a 1000hp truck are smoking peckers. That dodge didn't light up once this video. Truck would smoke that duramax by a mile.
How much can a 5.9 stock fuel system hold HP
550 is the norm, 600 is possible for some, the injectors are tapped at 550-575 if you are brave. The cp3 is hit or miss depending on mileage and lift pump status. But 600 is about max for most, 700 max if you have a new pump and a freak truck. I have pushed my stock in tank lift pump to 700 with dual fuelers but it was pushing 0 pressure but didn't drop rail.

I prefer a straight 6 simplicity but the dodge cab in them yrs had a very small back seat compared to the chevy
That's why the truck God's made the mega cab lol. But yes I agree I have an 04 and 05 both small ish but if you are used to the older trucks with half doors or ext. cab.

Cummins is a medium duty WORK TRUCK engine not a ricky racer drag race engine.
Duramax is a light duty engine... not a commercial medium duty engine.
Redo your drag queen drag race after pulling 40,000 lb trailers for 500,000 miles.... that's IF DuraCrap still runs after 500,000 miles of commercial usage without an engine rebuild.
