Another great video. Your videos actually inspired me to create my own channel as well. Whether my channel grows or not I just wanted to let you all know that you all inspired me to try share my experiences and knowledge the same way you guys are! I do have some Titan X DIY stuff that I did a bunch of trial and error on and learned things the hard way, that I will be sharing.
    Keep up the good work!

On paper a 12v 100ah battery is going to last a little over 2 hours a full speed.
I typically like to make 30-40 minute runs especially on tournament days, include that with some trolling, spot lock and another 30-40 minute back to the ramp. Those long runs I’m full throttling to get to my spot as soon as possible (tournament days). For me there’s no way the battery will last multiple trips.

I can go 2 full 8 hour days on my 100ah and still have 30% remaining. Thats me using it all day. I don't even take my pdl.

Like another commenter said it's all in how you use it, I go pretty hard on the batteries full speed long distance. The amp draw is not linear. For example, went out for a 4-hour trip a few days ago, running the motor at full speed to and from the spots and using it about 50% of the time while fishing/adjusting. Got it to 64%.

Sooo! The battery monitor cost one THIRD as much as the Battery? I think I'll just use an external battery monitor, for both my 'Yaks, thank you! When the price comes down (we all Know it will,by other manufacturers AND Competition!), then I might consider it.
    Thanks for the video, Guys...

Yeah to get a lifepo4 battery with the internal battery monitor they start at a much more expensive price. You don’t have to do it if you don’t want to.

I'm shocked at hearing you almost killed the 100ah in a single day. Were you running it at full speed for several hours? I've read people saying 100ah should last several 8 hour days on average use. On my 16' side console I ran my motorguide wireless for 3-4 hours and it would take 2-3 trips on a 50ah before it died.

@@mikelafontaine8464 yeah 8 full hour fishing tournament. High winds. Having to resort to the motor much more than the propel drive. The battery monitor says at full speed it uses 41-45 amps. The Motorguide says 52 amps on their website. After only using it on a 4 ish hour trip a few days ago. Going to and from spots, and using it about half the time to relocate. I got it down to 64%. So slightly better than advertised. It ALL depends on the motor you use that’s why people say they can get multiple days. That’s crazy you can get 3-4 days on a 50ah I’d like to see that haha

@@UntamedOutdoorsmen I was pretty stingy with moving around and didn't really use full speed for extended times. Using speed 8/10 will draw quite a bit less power and will only be a little slower, the draw is not linear. Makes sense in a tournament though, time is money!
