In case any of you missed it, part one of our build series will be installing all of the stock features that come with the boat (Propel Drive, 360 Swivel Seat, Rudder), as well as the Native Sidekick! Our goal is to have a build series video once every 5-10 days! Gonna be an awesome project and can’t wait to show you all!
@@haulinbasstexas7270 thanks! Those were special edition Googan baits I picked up. Not the biggest fan of Googan but I will say they make some awesome special edition stuff like that.
Awesome video. Very informative I just bought the same kayak in Puerto Rico. I live in Pennsylvania right now and headed down to Puerto Rico in a year. Going down in March to pick it up. Can't wait. Keep up the videos and stay safe out there. God bless you all
Been watching your channel since y’all first got the ascend 133x. That’s one hell of an upgrade. Can’t wait to see you build it out. I got the native 12.5 slayer and I love it but thinking about switching to hobie only because of the drive. I fish southeast Louisiana lots of shallow water and native drives seems to get tangled in grass too much.
@@UntamedOutdoorsmen I like the design of that kayak, but I’m concerned about the quality of the plastic and it’s longevity. Was there any particular reason you junk it?
@@brett5803 cracked in a tough spot to fix. Didn’t seem worth fixing to me when I wanted to upgrade already. From personal experience longevity definitely seems to be an issue with the 133 but if you’re just starting out in the trolling motor kayak world, it’s not a bad buy to get started and if you like it you can bring all your accessories over when you upgrade.
@@UntamedOutdoorsmen ya, I like to buy once and not have to worry about whether or not it will last. Then, if things evolve and I need to get rid of it, hopefully it has retained some resale value. Thanks for helping me out and my questions! 👍
Was leaning super hard into getting an old town sportman but I really like the native for one simple thing... The in hull rod storage, nothing is more annoying than picking out a backlash cause you snagged a rod in your rod holders on the back half of a cast.
Question for my fellow Americans is this kayak suitable for sea fishing. So jealous of you guys that have amazing staff in America over here we don’t have a representative of native in UK and there’s a big market over here I would buy one for my self.
Nice! The Titan is a great kayak with great rigability. Perhaps the biggest downfall is at 40", I don't think I could fit one with another kayak on my trailer, and the 325lb usable weight capacity (per Native) is rather disappointing for a boat this large. But in many ways, it is the perfect kayak.

There is nothing like a young man with a Zepplin poster hanging on his wall, well done young man!
Thank you !
Ha, first thing I noticed as well…tight lines and long live rock!!
So glad you like the kayak. The designed team worked really hard to get this right!
Nice rig Native is doing it right!
Very nice! Happy for you my friend! Hope it works out to be everything you wanted. Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
Awesome! I'd take this over any Hobie any day!
Great review. Also like the TEXAS flag bait hanging in the tool cart.

Glad it was helpful!
Getting this yak soon. Just wondering when part one of the build will be out?
The goal is once every 5-10 days
Oh one more question. Can you confirm the tank well cut out is for the 16x16 crate? Only because I thought I seen somewhere that it’s for the 13x16?
I will go confirm in a few and reply to this comment
@@UntamedOutdoorsmen awesome thanks
Just test fit the 16x16. It fits perfectly
@@UntamedOutdoorsmen nice! Thank you

Beautiful yak
Thank you!
@6:55 how does the Ketch board fit across with the Propel Drive in place?
Fits fine no issues
@@UntamedOutdoorsmen ok I thought maybe the pedal drive while in place blocked it.
@@XploreAz yeah it’s good the pedals themselves just have to be upright to get a good pic
@@UntamedOutdoorsmen thanks. 👍🏼
What did you do with the 133?
@@brett5803 sold everything off of it and junked it unfortunately

Thank you! Just the tip of the iceberg for content on this kayak.
I'm getting one soon a Gator Green.

Yes we agree there’s a lot of great features on the native that set it apart from other boats.

I would think so. Although the propel drive doesn’t specifically say whether or not it can so sea. I would wash it regularly to be safe.
What was the price of this kayak?
3600
@UntamedOutdoorsmen that's less than what I paid for my 120 old town autopilot
172 lbs??? How u gonna move it from truck to water?
Next video will show installing landing gear specifically for this kayak! Stay tuned
