It was like first class at the time Lufthansa introduced their current BC .. but not anymore. It's a good up to date BC for the time now.. but that's the point. Condors BC is.. Lufthansas' is not. And Allegris is already a joke before it even got implemented. Air France had a similar one which they already de-fleet in favor of their new one which is much better. Good thing: Lufthansa will not install Allegris into their A380, these are getting the much better Thompson Aerospace Super Diamond seats which they have in their 787 that they got from Hainan. A well known much loved BC seat a lot of airlines fly.
First revenue flight, very cool! Lufthansa J class is a joke honestly, I've passed on flying it multiple times just because I see no point in 2-2-2 anymore. I don't mind taking a middle section seat so no one has to climb over me, but it's still way too personally close to the seatmate. This looks way better, can't wait to try it.
Love the video. Condor will be sending the A330 neo to Halifax YHZ next summer, replacing the old 763. Eurowings Discover will also be using the a330. Hoping to try this Neo YHZ-FRA next summer!
I just remember the economy seats with extra legroom were going for around €180, can't recall for business. Although if there's a lot of availability it can be cheap
We flew Condor from FRA to LAX in April in the BC in A330 Neo - and actually we did not like it that much. The seats are looking great, but they are pretty small. My wife and me we both struggled to sleep well, as we were heavliy cramped with our shoulders. The arm rest does not move (we know other BCs where the arm rest can go down and disappear), but not so Condors new BC. If you have more or less strong shoulder (i am not a body builder, neither my wife) you will have problems to "fit" into the seat. Also the area for the foot is cramped, yes, its very long, but small. We flew British Airways from 2005 to 2018 to Las Vegas and actually we liked their seats more. They are definately more comfortable (for us). Also Condor raised the price for Los Angeles / Las Vegas / Seattle very much, for two of us they want more than 10.000,-€(!) what is really way to much. Its more than 2.500,€ for one direction per person. Thats ridiculous. Yes, the food is very good, also cabine crew very nice. But its not worth 10.000,-€.
I normally don't keep my window shade open throughout the whole flight because of the harsh day light that fills the cabin (mid day flights only). Occasionally I open it and peak my head out once and awhile. To answer your question, it be at the crews discretion and they'll probably ask you to close your shade when everyone else in the cabin is trying to sleep
If it was a brand new fleet type and the very first A330 NEO that they received, then yeah 100%. But Condor already has the aircraft type in its fleet prior to flying the brand new aircraft I was on
The newer allegris cabins are comparable, if not better than condor, but condor's looks alot better. The old business class on both airlines were the same, Lufthansa was actually better.
Ugh I know that airport. Frankfurt ugh. Even shittier than Vancouver and Munich. I just booked the same flight. Is the King seat worth the extra $360 USD?
From the looks on the flight, it looks like a gimmick First Class seat with a bigger ife screen and a little bit of extra service. Depends on how you value it I guess And tbh Vancouver isn't bad, but could be a lot better. Far from shitty
@@nonrevmax Right. Is the seat any bigger? Or the footrest wider? Or is it all the same? I'm not a big fan of YVR but then I'm not a big fan of Vancouver either so maybe that's the bias.
It's not bigger in overall space, but has a wider footwell. It also has just extra walls for privacy, no door, bigger ife screen. Again it's on how you value your money
I just read tons of negative Condor's reviews on trip advisor. I'm very scared, since I booked a flight Miami to Frankfurt for April..........delays and rude staff. OMG. I hope I'll have some luck and be spared those hurdles.
Thanks for sharing this video. It was great!! I’ll be flying Condor business class from Frankfurt to Toronto in April so this sounds fantastic!!
I flew with Condor a330-900 Business Class Prime Seate to Vancouver this summer. It´s like first class.

Such a cool plane and I love seeing them in Vancouver!

1:09 do you recall how much was the price for the upgrades? The Prime Seats would of course come with a higher price

I saw a flight from FRA to BKK for 1520 Euros in business. But it's only off-season.. in the holidays 1520 is the standard price in economy 😢
Flying Condor Business class LAX to FRA in May. cool vid ty

Did they let you keep your window shade up? I’m flying business on them in 3 weeks!

They didn't even have a welcome ceremony at the gate for an inaugural flight?😮

Was the flight full?
It was, maybe less than 5 seats open

Was this a zed fare?
Yes
Almost anything is better than LH!
dont they have german food

Newcomers will always give you more to start with. It’s called marketing 😂!
Newcomer? Condor is around since many decades.
