Good thinking about getting a regular bicycle. They are so cool. You can buy a bag or basket for Lilly and she can go too! The exercise is great for you and one of the the easiest in your joints. 🚴🏻♂️
This was very entertaining, I loved the tours, Lily jumping in your arms, the driftwood on the beach (reminded me of my favorite spot Moonstone Beach in CA), and, yeah, I wholly agree about being around crowds, I hate crowds!
I’m with you on the crowds-I’m a people person, but too many people in one place all at once is overwhelming to me and detracts from experiencing special places and moments. But it’s unavoidable at times. Maybe try for early mornings where you can to avoid peak, busier times of day?
You drove right by my favorite place! I spend winters (pre-covid) in Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach in Florida right by the Georgia border. Very dog friendly. As a Canadian I was unable to drive down this past winter with the border closed...but looking forward to next winter!

Go to tybee island - Do not miss Savannah national wild life refudge - It is a drive through- amazing went 10 times- drive super slow like 5 mph. The bridge you have to drive over to get there is like straight up so ships can pass under. I was so scared because it is so steep. There is a traders joe on the other side. Only go to whole foods and Trader Joe’s for food or lucky,s.

Love Jekyll. Island! Cumberland is also cool. Saint Mary's has an awesome seafood store. The lipstick is perfect. Love the earings too. I had a Cavalier who had to have all of her teeth removed. He was a rescue and came to us with many missing. His little tongue hung out.
Go up to Tybee Beach Island and hopefully you'll get a relaxing time out of it, outside of Savannah!🌅 Lily is having fun at a place that allows her to go for her walks and have fun!💚🐚🐕I love the look of the driftwood and the flowers look as if they smell wonderful!!🌺 Take care!🥰
you missed the best part of Jekyll Island; the historic old hotel , The Jekyll Island Club Hotel, with the turrets and croquet court on the front lawn that is still open. Several restaurants in the facility and many cottages surrounding it that were owned by the Rockefellers, the Cranes, etc. The first transcontinental phone call was made from there; the phone is still preserved out on the lawn. There is a beautiful wharf in front of the hotel on the Intercoastal waterway that is a classic treasure where all the wealthy people docked their boats when they came down from up north. We have spent many winters there. I highly recommend you revisit when covid is over and dig in to the history that abounds on this beautifully preserved island.
I love your channel. I live in Austin TX but called St Simons Island home for many yrs. Family in both areas. That concrete on Jekyll is called "tabby". Used in many buildings in The Golden Isles of Georgia. Made with oyster shells, ash, lime etc (I can't remember it all)...google it. Safe travels to you and Lily.
@@storychasing I've always loved Austin. The last 12 yrs we've grown like crazy...I'm considering moving a little further west into the Hill Country just for more solitude and less traffic...but Austin will always have my heart. Lots of decisions for sure.
I think the plate scan is for people who live on the island. Was there April 1st. Been several times absolutely love it. The clubhouse at the old resort has a place called the Pantry. Highly recommend the chocolate turtle ganache desert. Will also do a picnic basket if put in an order few days before. A lot of places on island are about hitting the time right to avoid crowds early morning are best. The "tabby" shells are my favorite. The north side has a memorial tribute to victims of the Wander. It is on north end and not typically crowded. Friend got married on Driftwood beach!! Was beautiful. Also part of walking dead filmed there. Got to get the gnat spray.

I LOVE your lipstick color! It was even better when you said Bert’s Bees. I was born in GA though left as a baby with my family to TX. We then moved to CA when I was 4. I really enjoyed the GA your. I have lots of relatives there. Such beauty and southern grace. I was very young when we left GA though oddly enough I have memories from there. Well I think it's loosely called a nose ring, but I hear nose stud, nose jewelry, and nose hoops (which is the one I eventually want). I love hearing the differences too. One day I will get there for sure!
Oh Amber are you going to show some of Jacksonville? My baby daughter lived there. I never got to go there. I wasn't able to travel that far. And they could never got off from work. I hadn't seen her in 9 yrs. Two years this January 10 she passed away 44 yr old . She had a heartattack. Sorry to write comments so much. But I watch all you videos. Love them . I see the world through your traveling.
You are practically in my backyard. I live in Midway Georgia. I go to Jekyll Island and St Simons Island several times a year and I enjoy both very much. I only spent one night at the Jekyll Island campground I did not know you could park anywhere else there.
That was a delightful outing. First time I've seen shells used in concrete. What a great way to use natural resources. Looking forward to the next installment.

She will probably feel better because they can hurt just like us with a tooth-ache. Sometimes she has to pull all the teeth if they are bad. An I give my yorkie medicine the same way you do. My last dog got wise to my peanut butter or cheese covered antibiotic treats & had to do that throat rub thing. My dog looked at me different after that. l🤫🐕 🥜💊🧀
That is an excellent video showing how to carefully push a medicine pill to the back of the mouth and massage the throat so they swallow! And if they try to hold it in their mouth, you can blow on their nose a bit and it makes them swallow. Good job!
If your, not a bike fan, then It would be good to sell it before you lose your value due to rust and non- use. Also, if you follow the beach up the east coast you are going to have lots of crowds. That's where all the people vacation they go towards the beach. Early in the morning or in the evenings it thins out. Thanks for sharing.

Dawn and dusk are prime biting times for mosquitoes 🦟. When I have to give my pups pills I wrap them in this stuff I buy on Amazon, Tomlyn Pill Masker, for dogs. They love it, no more shoving pills down their throats. I had one dog that took pills twice a day for years, this stuff was a game changer. I’ve never been to Georgia either but I’ll be there in a couple of weeks, unexpected trip I have to make. Unfortunately I’m not sure I’ll have much time for sightseeing but I’m hoping I can. Jen T 😊 Nice fact about the Roman. I didn't know that. Leave it to the Romans who were famous foringenuityy. ebikes can go 20+ mph so sometimes they don't want it on normal bike trails with pedestrians and other "old school" bikes. Hazard I suppose.

Hi Amber. Try taking a B supplement to keep bugs away. Your pee will turn bright yellow but it supposedly helps. I’m going to start taking mine. The bugs love me too. We are really enjoying your daily videos. Thanks for always being real.
Poor Lily. Our Lilly just had oral surgery two weeks ago too. I always ask for oral medications. That way I just squirt it in and hold her head back to swallow. She will not take pills and will eat around them. Pill pockets won't work either.
Really beautiful area. Just get rid of the e-bike. It’s too difficult for you solo, both maintenance and getting it on/off your van. Get yourself a basic bike with front and rear baskets and a euro-style kickstand. Even a cruiser would be way lighter than your ebike, which means that you would use it. 👍 PS. Love the tinted Burt’s Bees!
We just traveled back to MI from FL on I75. It sucks just as bad as 95! Thank God for Google maps! It rerouted us around 2 seperate accidents on 2 seperate days.
Great video! I found myself wanting to comment on so much that I had to rewind, take notes, and then lose my enthusiasm to the overwhelm of there being too much. Oh well. It's a good kind of overwhelm, lol! Oh! One thing. Lose the lip liners unless they're an exact match. They don't come across well in videos. They tend to reflect light irregularly, distorting your lipline. It gets a little distracting sometimes. I'm sure they look great IRL but videos are a different animal. I didn't want to say anything before but since you brought it up....:D
That is a beautiful lipstick color on you. If too many people bug you, for any reason, move on without guilt there is always something else to see and do. Perhaps, during the pandemic, you can focus on more obscure sights, in the Northeast, if you still want to continue with your travel plans. Look for hidden gems instead of touristy things. You can always come back to the touristy things, when the pandemic ends.
The heavy lined lip looks better at night. Daytime should be more natural. I got my second shot and now I’m free to move about the country. I’m thinking about taking my dog on a road trip.
Wow! I have to wrap my dog Gizmo's pills in a slice of cheese or bread...sometimes Ihave to give him a small bit of peanutbutter. He will spit it out. The lipstick shade looks great. Watch out for the sand fleas.

I think the plate scan is for people who live on the island. Was there April 1st. Been several times absolutely love it.
The clubhouse at the old resort has a place called the Pantry. Highly recommend the chocolate turtle ganache desert. Will also do a picnic basket if put in an order few days before. A lot of places on island are about hitting the time right to avoid crowds early morning are best. The "tabby" shells are my favorite. The north side has a memorial tribute to victims of the Wander. It is on north end and not typically crowded. Friend got married on Driftwood beach!! Was beautiful. Also part of walking dead filmed there. Got to get the gnat spray.

I LOVE your lipstick color! It was even better when you said Bert’s Bees. I was born in GA though left as a baby with my family to TX. We then moved to CA when I was 4. I really enjoyed the GA your. I have lots of relatives there. Such beauty and southern grace. I was very young when we left GA though oddly enough I have memories from there. My mom was shocked when I described my grandparents front porch and eating watermelon. Lol. BTW, I don’t like crowds either.

Well I think it's loosely called a nose ring, but I hear nose stud, nose jewelry, and nose hoops (which is the one I eventually want). I love hearing the differences too. One day I will get there for sure!
Oh Amber are you going to show some of Jacksonville? My baby daughter lived there. I never got to go there. I wasn't able to travel that far. And they could never got off from work. I hadn't seen her in 9 yrs. Two years this January 10 she passed away 44 yr old . She had a heartattack. Sorry to write comments so much. But I watch all you videos. Love them . I see the world through your traveling.
You are practically in my backyard. I live in Midway Georgia. I go to Jekyll Island and St Simons Island several times a year and I enjoy both very much. I only spent one night at the Jekyll Island campground I did not know you could park anywhere else there.

She will probably feel better because they can hurt just like us with a tooth-ache. Sometimes she has to pull all the teeth if they are bad. An I give my yorkie medicine the same way you do. He will not take it no other way except how you did it. It doesn't hurt them at all. Safe travels thru the south an wherever the road takes you!❤

My last dog got wise to my peanut butter or cheese covered antibiotic treats & had to do that throat rub thing. My dog looked at me different after that. l🤫🐕 🥜💊🧀

That is an excellent video showing how to carefully push a medicine pill to the back of the mouth and massage the throat so they swallow! And if they try to hold it in their mouth, you can blow on their nose a bit and it makes them swallow. Good job!

If your, not a bike fan, then It would be good to sell it before you lose your value due to rust and non- use. Also, if you follow the beach up the east coast you are going to have lots of crowds. That's where all the people vacation they go towards the beach. Early in the morning or in the evenings it thins out. Thanks for sharing.

In the State of Georgia Class 1 and Class 2 ebikes that can't exceed 20 MPH are allowed on all bike trails. I rode my eBike all over Jekyll Island.
Dawn and dusk are prime biting times for mosquitoes 🦟. When I have to give my pups pills I wrap them in this stuff I buy on Amazon, Tomlyn Pill Masker, for dogs. They love it, no more shoving pills down their throats. I had one dog that took pills twice a day for years, this stuff was a game changer. I’ve never been to Georgia either but I’ll be there in a couple of weeks, unexpected trip I have to make. Unfortunately I’m not sure I’ll have much time for sightseeing but I’m hoping I can. Jen T 😊 Nice fact about the Roman. I didn't know that. Leave it to the Romans who were famous foringenuityy. ebikes can go 20+ mph so sometimes they don't want it on normal bike trails with pedestrians and other "old school" bikes. Hazard I suppose.

Poor Lily. Our Lilly just had oral surgery two weeks ago too. I always ask for oral medications. That way I just squirt it in and hold her head back to swallow. She will not take pills and will eat around them. Pill pockets won't work either.
Really beautiful area. Just get rid of the e-bike. It’s too difficult for you solo, both maintenance and getting it on/off your van. Get yourself a basic bike with front and rear baskets and a euro-style kickstand. Even a cruiser would be way lighter than your ebike, which means that you would use it. 👍

We just traveled back to MI from FL on I75. It sucks just as bad as 95! Thank God for Google maps! It rerouted us around 2 seperate accidents on 2 seperate days.

Great video! I found myself wanting to comment on so much that I had to rewind, take notes, and then lose my enthusiasm to the overwhelm of there being too much. Oh well. It's a good kind of overwhelm, lol!
Oh! One thing. Lose the lip liners unless they're an exact match. They don't come across well in videos. They tend to reflect light irregularly, distorting your lipline. It gets a little distracting sometimes. I'm sure they look great IRL but videos are a different animal. I didn't want to say anything before but since you brought it up....:D
That is a beautiful lipstick color on you. If too many people bug you, for any reason, move on without guilt there is always something else to see and do. Perhaps, during the pandemic, you can focus on more obscure sights, in the Northeast, if you still want to continue with your travel plans. Look for hidden gems instead of touristy things. You can always come back to the touristy things, when the pandemic ends.
The heavy lined lip looks better at night. Daytime should be more natural. I got my second shot and now I’m free to move about the country. I’m thinking about taking my dog on a road trip.

Wow! I have to wrap my dog Gizmo's pills in a slice of cheese or bread...sometimes Ihave to give him a small bit of peanutbutter. He will spit it out.

Awww, I love Lily! P.S. I miss wearing lipstick (I realise that sounds lame) but we have to wear masks here (which I am totally fine with!) and have gone from quarantine to quarantine (current one is until May 20th).
