Guys, two little things: 1. It’s a weird time to upload these videos because my travels took place in spring and early summer - and now especially Florida is experiencing devestating hurricanes again. I hope that destruction will not be too bad - and once they got through this that my videos will animate people to travel there again, so tourists spend money in the infrastructure and local businesses like hotels, who always need that even more after nature hit their shores so terrible (as you might know meanwhile I have friends and family in Florida, and this is unfortunately not the first time this is happening. Florida is just very exposed to hurricanes and unfortunately this one will as well not be the last). Even though this is happening right now I still decided to post the videos, for exactly the reason above (and as well there is so much shit happening right at the moment in the world, that I sometimes get depressed by watching the news, so this is as well an escape for myself from all these other bothering topics…). 2. Unfortunately we experienced quite a lot of spam and scam messages here on the channel recently. I try to get it under control but it’s not always possible. If you got told you won something by an account that has my profile pic but is not my profile please report this - this account here is the only one I have and the only one I send you comments with!
On a historical note, Jekyll Island was where the US Federal Reserve was established by some wealthy bankers. Too bad you missed Savannah as it a very picturesque city with tons of historic things to visit. Great video as usual. Looking forward to your next video.
And it’s where they killed the timucuan tribe to establish it timucuan tribe were 6 to 9ft black native tribe giants also the established it on top of a blood sacrifice altar as well where the tribe use to sacrifice babies
Lea I've been to Jekyll Island on every trip to Georgia. My favorite stop is the restaurant at the Yacht Club. They make the finest gigantic Cajun shrimp I have ever eaten on the planet. As a matter of fact, everything they served is fantastic. The scenery there is stunning! Very historic place. Great video Lady!! Of course you get more Roses and Urns! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🏆🏆 Ride SAFE and BE safe Lea! 🙌🖖✌🤙👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👋🙂
It’s really too bad that I missed out on this restaurant! To be honest, my dinner was actually not that good at all, didn’t even show it in the video! Next time!!!
I typed in a lot of comments but wasn’t ready with it when the video stopped. And of course I couldn’t sent them then. I’ll try again from memory. Beautiful drone footage Driftwood beach is a must for photographers. I would be quite busy there. Nice that they have normal roads and not those ridiculously wide roads. I know about rain creeping in. Büse gear normally keeps me very dry but when it keeps pouring down, there’s one place where the water comes in. It’s always at the seams between your legs when a little pool of water is created on the saddle. Love those bearded trees (mosses).
I guess that means that the video was too shorty! 😂 I love the expression “bearded trees” - if I will ever visit Georgia again I will use that in my future videos!
@@Got2Go you’re the one who decides the length of each scene. I would have put a few scenes more of the trees in this film; 10-15 seconds more. But that’s me as a photographer making a movie. I think in stills or slowly moving scenes. You are a filmer and that’s a different and more dynamic kind of thinking. I don’t often make a movie; too much work. I make slideshows where pictures can slightly and slowly move. Only with music and no narration.
Savannah is the oldest city in Georgia and its 1st state capital. Been there multiple times and its beautiful. I'm sorry the weather didn't cooperate. Safe travels!
@@Got2Go Yes indeed. I live in Scotland....rains (it seems) most of the time. However, this year has been the best since 1976!!😂. Mind you, I shouldn't complain....we don't have such devastation that Florida is experiencing just now😯😯😪😪
Well done Lea! Loved this video of coastal Georgia. Great filming and as always I like the music you use. Loved that song @14.30 in the video. Not sure who the artist is? Hope to see you one day riding in New Zealand.
It is too bad that you were not able to stop in Savannah. It really is a nice place with history. We stayed in a B&B there for a couple of days then went on to Charleston. Loving your trip.
Absolutely top-shelf presentation. Subject, scenes, narrative, EDITING and the storyline all flow together in a very posh production. A great experience for the viewer. So inspiring, that I want to go to these places! Cheers.
Excellent! Definitely adding Jekyll Island to the to-do list. Georgia is a quite wonderful place! Can't wait to see where you go in South Carolina! Be well!
Sie haben verschiedene Talente. Eine davon ist die Auswahl der schönsten Orte auf Ihren Reisen. Kombiniert mit Ihren Kommentaren faszinieren sie jeden. Vielen Dank.
I know people living up north who insist that as long as water is falling vertically, it's not really rain. Rain comes horizontally for them. …Well, okay: You made your own wind. 🤷♂🤔 …I mean, I don't mean you, I mean the bike made your wind. Driftwood Beach is genuinely interesting, a very goth looking place in a very non-gothic landscape! 🤗 Beautiful shots again!
That was an absolutely beautiful, watching this splendid adventure of your Georgia ,as usual, wonderful cinematic photography, really breathtaking scenes, great work . best wishes Lea😍
Beautiful and interesting episode as always, Lea. I think you meant to say non Americans should "Have Georgia on their minds" as the famous son of Georgia sang 😊. Thanks for sharing your journey. Sadly some of your adventures might not look the same for those who follow, with all the destructive weather events. Safe riding.
Yes I know, it’s terrible - especially Florida is just so exposed to the hurricanes and the ocean. I decided to still post the videos now because I always hope when it’s over again, that people still want to travel there and with spending money as tourists as well support the infrastructure at these places!
Happy to see the video ...to see beautiful views, not spoiled by natures destruction. At the moment its just destruction and sad views. Nice to see your video, it will look like that again...hopefully soon
We just went to Jekyll island yesterday. It was so pretty I wanted to watch some videos on it. You did a great job capturing its beauty. What an adventurer you are. We followed your channel! ❤
Glad you got to see the coast when you did. It's pretty f'ed up in places due to the storm. Some worse than others and still continuing. Nice vid, enjoyable. Safe travels.
Yes it’s terrrible, I hope it will pass quick And not leave too much devestation. Florida and these coastal places are just in such a high risk when it comes to hurricanes and the ocean…
@@Got2Go Yes it has come up to the mountains where I live on the Kentucky/Virginia border and it has stalled out. Rain next couple days. The interior of South Carolina and North Carolina is getting a soaking. It crossed Florida and hit the Atlantic and turned into a cat. 1 hurricane again. It hit Savana and Charleston pretty hard. It's that time of year, to be expected. You take care. Get us another good ride in for winter viewing. Now I will do the changing leaves on the Blue Ridge and surrounding areas.
