I have used FL studio since 2013,Calkwalk,Cubase and I stumbled on Reaper Lately,Reaper is the best Daw I ever Used,Reaper has a feature where your Wrong played midi notes gets corrected automatically and that feature alone gives it the whole marks.100%
I am a long time Reaper user. I recently started using FLS for one reason: Patcher. I can make very complicated custom patches in FLS, something Reaper lacks. Reapers track management and ability to customize blows away everything else. I use them together.
I'm actually not a fan of Reaper side chaining to many steps for me... It's a lot easier in other DAWs and sometimes can get confusing when trying to set them up... 🤔
@SaidTheWolf I'm willing to learn that it seems like a lot more steps than any other DAW.. there are more steps than one..lol... Maybe I'm doing it wrong... Please point me to this one step setup..👀
I've got a 43" 4K monitor now and one limitation in Reaper's themes is you can't move the transport controls to the centre (at least in v6). They're always annoyingly off to the left. A huge usability issue and the one that has me now looking to other DAWs. Studio 1 is better suited to larger monitors and is impressive but not cheap. I've still to try FL studio.
Not all themes let you move it but the default theme does let you do this and so does ReaperTips theme you can set it to the middle as an option when you right click the transport... I would hope that's not the only reason to look at other DAWs because of the transport position.. Studio one customization is very limited compared to Reaper and other DAWs... but if you don't like the transport at the top and to the left you might not like FL Studio... that's kinda where the transport stays. But hopefully the ReaperTips theme will help with that it's the one I'm currently using in Reaper... thanks for the comment..😀🙏🏾
Cheers. I'll look again at this. I'm faced with either upgrading Reaper or moving to Studio 1 Artist. My initial dabbling with S1 has impressed me and Artist now supports 3rd party VSTs.@@learningreaper
@learningreaper it's as good or better than any other daw BUT, you need to use some rea scripts and customize mouse clicks, toolbars and other things to make it feel right. Out of the box I agree it isnt good, but with some changes it's the best piano roll available.
Cool! I still miss a way to use rhe media browser address8ng a MIDI clip to it so it should play thise wav files sounds. It could be a faster way to pick kicks, snares, etc.
@@learningreaper Hmmmm... I was talking about Reraper. I never knew it could be done. It's a nice feature to ave a media browser but, for me at least, the main purpose to that is to have a MIDI clip, point it to the media browser and start scrolling sounds 'till find "the one", you know? With all tracks playing we could have a way better perception if the sound "is the one" or not. I'll look for this feature here... ...have no idea how to do that...

Yea that patcher is pretty cool... I don't really use it ... But I do use them together sometimes as well... Thanks for the comment...😀🙏🏾
Sidechaining Reverbs and delays are all very easily done in Reaper, you can side chain anything you wish in Reaper.

Please make a video on tukan studio plugins
That's what's up will put it on my list... 😀🙏🏾
@@learningreaper Thankyou 🙏
You can snap your played midi notes to key in Reaper, just hit your keyboard and reaper will understand where you want to go and finish it up for you.
The midi editor is not as bad as people make it out to be still could use some work but will definitely get the job done

Which DAW are you talking about 🤔 I think they both do this.
