Stiff northeast winds throughout the weekend will make it tough for anyone planning on
hitting the ocean or open Sound, but the bays and harbors should remain fishable. With
fluke season winding down, inlet areas remain a good bet for collecting some fillets.
Those same winds may prove to be a boon to surfcasters as baitfish like mullet and
snappers work their way out of the bays and hopefully inspire bass and blues to go on
the feed. Inlets will again be the best place to intercept bait and fish, but don’t overlook
Montauk, where northeast blows have fueled blitz fishing in the past.

Great report! I'm getting out there this weekend. The Spanish report was cool, definitely something different.
6:10 who the hell holds a fish like that? Hand not just near the gills-hand legitimately gripping the gills. I'm not usually one to point those things out but come on...
that fish is a goner unfortunately
@@idkwhattouseforname For sure. If it's a slot fish then hold it how you want, but if it's an over then what the hell
@@michaelrada3744 DEC needs to start to go after stuff like this.
The Spanish report was pretty cool.
