- While on vacation visiting my father on Eastern Long Island, I returned to my clamming roots and created a video that shows how anyone can become....a Clam Whisperer.
Here I reveal "The Clammer's Code" - Take what you need, but leave the rest for the next guy".
take what you need and leave the rest for the next guy,,, I very much agree , it is too bad that our society has not taught kids that value for the last 40 yrs,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,sad,,,,, I know there are exceptions,, you and me, but we are older, I am 64,,,,,,,,,,,, there is a vid on here with two young men , in the title of the vid is the number they took,, 142
greed has replaced our ethic
Thanks for the tips!

Be The Clam
Try explaining the clammers code to the a-holes that clam barnegat bay NJ.
why no inner tube?
Wait! Don't go. LOL. You didn't show us the most important part...how to rake up the clam. How do we "think like a clam"?
There in lies the paradox....do clams have brains? If not, the connection must be made on a different level.....in the twilight zone!
Can you advise where to get a clam license?
U have to check the local regulations of your area. Example would be if you lived under the jurisdiction of East Hampton Township, which includes Montauk, Amagansett, Springs, East Hampton and Wainscott. EH Township requires a shellfish permit for locals and non locals, difference being the non local permit costs more
Hi! Where are the best locations to go around Greenport and are there different types of clams around?
The clams seem to like a mucky, seaweed bottom, not sand....
Where is it exactly?
It is a private beach where you need a resident parking pass in the town of Southold, NY. I was there visiting last week, and the daily police presence reminded me that they are enforcing the local parking laws....
@@GlennColton got it. Hope you had fun there!
