I have th 28L Singi, love the quality and look as well as modular capabilities. However, I find the top lid zipper doesn't function smoothly esepcially when the pack is not full, go to lift up the lid in order for me to pull the zip acorss smoothly. Not sure if the 48L has such minor issue. Thanks
Was wondering if its possible to remove the hip belt? Incase I need a backpack that can be used in everyday life and have the option for the hip belt when going hiking?
Hej Ted, Tack för din video. Singi 48 ser ut som en bra ryggsäck. Men betyder hålet i bottenfacket ett mindre än idealiskt nötningsbeständighet hos G-1000 HeavyDuty Eco S? Herman
Hej Herman! Det skulle jag nog inte säga, jag tror dock att det var en väldigt ihärdig mus, givetvis vill man verkligen göra hål så går det men för vanlig användning så hade jag inte oroat mig!
I recently got a Kajka 65, been rocking the 85L for 3 or so years now, but with short walks I wanted something smaller. The Singi 28 is my go to work bag/day and I absolutely love the versatility of it, the 48L looks fantastic for hunting or overnighters. Is that your Fjällräven Polar jacket? It's a beaut! Did it hold up in the rain and wet okay?
I’m afraid you’re right, this is a really good feature and I hope they include it on all packs but as of now it’s not included in this one. The kajka has it!
Hi, I have a question about back length. I'm 1m82cm and currently using a Karrimor SF Sabre 45. due to the back length being fixed, i notice the Karrimor hip belt is above my hip and not on my hip (so all the weight is on my spine and not divided over spine and hip). Is the Fjallraven singi 48 "taller" in maximum adjusted back length? how tall are you, and does the hipbelt fit as it should? Thanks!!
im 181, for me this pack works great, I never felt any uneven carrying or anything like that! don't know if it's taller in the maximum compared to the sabre, might say something about lengths on the website!
Great pack the Singi line Ted...I have the 28 litre great for day hikes been using it for about a year now versatile comfy and bombproof! like the jacket your wearing synthetic fill yeah? as warm as the keb padded hoodie?
@@TedWeirum Finally i bought a backpack, and i chose kaipak 38. I do mostly one day hikes with family or one night overnighters. And it’s amazing 😊 Later i will choose some bigger.
Nice backpack. Almost sad I'm happy with my current pack... 😬 I wondered: the jacket looked like it is a down jacket, but it did hold up fine to the rainy weather?
@@TedWeirum Thanks for the reply, im always worried with downjackets tho about the durability especially in the sleeves and shoulders from the backpack. How durable would you say that it is?
I understand that! When you’re out moving it better to use a shell jacket and a down jacket underneath if you’re cold, usually you get really warm when you start to move. Hiking with a heavy backpack for a longer time with a down jacket on is nothing I usually do, it better to later up underneath the shell jacket, good base layer in wool, maybe a fleece and then the shell. When you stop and take of your backpack thats when the down jacket comes on
@@TedWeirum Thanks, i don't have alot of experience in hiking and camping besides from being a little kid. I think i'll invest in a shell jacket as i already have some midlayers. I know you really like the keb eco shell but its a bit out of my price range. Is there a shell under 200 or 250 you could recommend?
Well for the price i would love to have this extras included with option for extra purchase. Anyways i can not afford it :( student life sucks but backpack is beutifull and very well thought.
Alltså skit i ryggan... 😃Jag är mer intresserad av byxorna. Fjällräven? Vet du vad det är för modell? Ser ut att vara bekväma! Underbart när det dyker upp nya filmer från dig! 🙏
I get what you mean, durability comes with a price and in this case it’s in the weight, I’m sure Fjallraven could make lighter packs but I’m happy they chose to stay with quality and durability, I think the carrying system makes up for the weight!
I went to Doi pui camping site in Thailand with the backpack. It was awesome. Thank you for your great review.

Hahaha, feel free to watch it as many times you’d like! God jul och ett bättre nytt år! :)
Thank you for review with nice voice 👍
:)
Your review (amongst others) convinced me to get this pack.
Awesome to hear! let me know what you think about it! :)
@@TedWeirum the main reason I got it was for a wild camping trip to Dartmoor this coming October.
@keithorbell8946 thanks for the photos brother! Hope you like it!
@@TedWeirum I’m still getting used to it, but it’s comfortable and flexible in the right ways…
@keithorbell8946 glad to hear!
I just love this pack! If i had to keep only one pack it would be this one!
Agreed!

I think I have the same situation with mine, didn’t thought about it until you mentioned it!
Totally agree it's a great backpack! I have the Keb 75 but maybe next year I'll go for a smaller pack. Not your usual gloves?
It’s the same model that I had before, hestra ergo grip! :)
Was wondering if its possible to remove the hip belt? Incase I need a backpack that can be used in everyday life and have the option for the hip belt when going hiking?
It’s not super easy but possible!
Awesome like usual!!!! I was just going to ask you to compare the Keb 52 and the Singi 48. Lol
Check out next weeks video! ;)

Yeah, it’s a very versatile pack, can’t stress how much I love that! Yes, it’s the polar jacket and yes it held up very well! :)
Been a while I visited your channel. That moustache🤭 😂. Keep up the good work brother
hahah, thanks for checking in, rest assured the stack came and went. it's in the books now!
Thanks for the video! Is the top lid usable as a hip pack? Doesn’t look like it has the straps for wearing it separately…
I’m afraid you’re right, this is a really good feature and I hope they include it on all packs but as of now it’s not included in this one. The kajka has it!
Where would you put the waterbottle without the sidepockets?
Great vod
Thanks! Great question! Of course inside is one option or hang it on the outside if it’s possible! :)
Nice backpack, nice review
Thanks brother! Really appreciate your support! :)
Very awesome.

It is a down jacket, and it did hold up! I was a bit surprised too! :)
thank you~!

this is a very heavy bag at 2.1kg for a 48l pack. i love my kaipack 38 but all fjallraven bags are super heavy. wish they made lighter ones

@@TedWeirum 100% get that durability means weight, would be nice if they could find a way around this though, especially at their price tags.
It’s a good point, I hope they find a solution in the future!
The Abisko Friluft 45 is lighter and only 3L less if weight is you main concern. The Singi is built tough!
Thanks for letting us know! :)
It looks like the helags40. But then improved
Could be, not familiar with that backpack
