@@MCMOutdoors been trying to get hold of a couple of pockets for it but no luck...free up a bit of space...great day pack when I’m not going too far...
Just as an FYI for tall people. Im 6'2 and always struggle to find a pack to fit. If you do not clip in the back adjuster on the the Singi 48, it gives an extra 1/2 - 1" of room to play with, and find that it fits me well, well just. Especially with a bit more weight in the pack. (obviously as its on max max setting, there is no movement on the back) home this helps!
That is a top tip! It only just about is long enough for me at 6ft tall - so that's brilliant. I've pushed the clip up as far as it goes, then jammed it under a bit and it's just about okay. I find it more noticeable with lighter loads. Cheers for that tip.
Hi Hinstin, I'm 190 cm (6′ 2.8), and my back length is 53 or 54 cm. According to Fjallraven maximum back length for this pack is 54cm. Would you pass on this backpack if you were in my place, as I m on the maximum end?
Thank you for a very good presentation and review of this pack. Im surprised that they did not put a separator in between the main compartment and the sleepingbag compartment.

Very impressive review old mate. This is certainly a well constructed pack really well stitched. It's pretty obvious that a lot of labour and quality control has gone into making it. Not having seen this pack in the flesh but just by what you've shown in this review I'd say one would be getting what one pays for. There's been a lot of practical thought put into its design. The only extra item that I would ask for would be for the brain to be detachable and allow it to be clipped onto the front shoulder straps like the Fjallraven 85Lt pack then it would in a class of its own and no worries about substantiating its cost. Doing that it'd be a real world beater.👍👍👌💯

Beautifully detailed item reviews on here. I am sure I have OCD so this is what I want! Can you do me a favour please and do a video on how to tie the guy ropes up after use in that nifty way you do it. Cheers
Really good review on the backpack. I’ve got one too. It’s so comfy to use and versatile just like you said. It’s worth the money you pay for it. I just want to ad one more thing for you. If you’re 190cm (6.2”) it’s gonna be to small for you. I’m 186cm (6.1”) and it’s on the edge of what I can adjust the back shoulder padding. The length of the adjustment isn’t enough for taller persons. Take care and be safe during these crazy times mate. Tommy
Hi mate, thanks - I also totally agree. I'm going to do a "six months in" review and I'll be mentioning the back length. I'm just six ft but agree that the back length is at the max to accommodate me. Which is a shame as its a lovely pack. I used it with a very light load and noticed it more. Thanks for watching
If you’re over 190cm doesn’t mean it wouldn’t fit I don’t think. Everyone is different. I’m 193cm but the measurement from the top of my iliac crest to my neck bone (C7) is within the min and max height for adjustment. A Small size osprey pack is what I use. My legs are what make me tall and for others it might be their upper body that makes them tall.
Great vid Chris. I wish I had space like that for all my gear. If I need a piece of kit I’ve got to look in about 20 different places. Including checking the kids rooms in case they’ve pinched something for a game. Here’s a question for everyone. Am I the only person who puts their tent in the bottom part of the pack? I know more often than not it’s referred to as the sleeping bag compartment but I’ve always thought sticking your tent in there makes more sense.
Hi Robert - good shout re the tent in the base suggestion! I normally keep mine in the bag it comes with, ie it wouldn't fit - but I've seen a few people stuff the tent into a dry bag and store the poles separately - so the base of the pack is an ideal area to put this! I wonder would stuffing the tent into a dry sack damage any fabric costings?
