Another great video from the West Coasters. I have the same pack. Yes, it's expensive and heavy, but it's very durable and will outlive my my other packs. Side pouches make it really practical and allow me to adjust the pack for my needs. Mesh bag (sold separately and stupidly over priced, but does double up as an ultralight day sack) is great attached to the hood and allows me to store foul weather gear or clothing that needs airing out. Wish i could buy the straps that come with the open pouches separately. They are brilliant.
Hi guys that's a brilliant backpack really like it . 😂😂 I was that focused on your review on the backpack. I thought my god you can fit loads in that, and then noticed bottom of the backpack was open you sneaky guys 😂😂 I thought god I'm so daft 😂
For being such a versatile backpack there is not much to find about it on the internet. Only a few reviews here and there but no mods or tutorials on how to make it even more versatile. Which is weird because the loops are basically made for modding and attaching DIY pockets. The Fjällräven pockets are great of course but can be quite expensive on top of the already costly pack. And you do need the extra pockets for camping if you are not a minimalist.
Good point! Quite a lot possibilities and Fjällräven has at least 4- 5 different pockets that you can purchase and attach to the singi. Will keep that in mind for a possible follow up👍. Not cheap like you mentioned 😅
I have a cheap pack of equal size and durability, So I dont really need it, But I have always loved the look and functionality of the Singi 48 including pockets. It is the pack I want, but can not justify to buy.
And that is very healthy to think like that. Happy to think like that as well when scrolling through the internet looking at all those interesting knives and outdoor gear😉. I feel fortunate being able to have had the possibility to purchase this backpack. Wish you the same!
I seriously considered buying this some time ago, its a very nice pack. But I came to the conclusion, with the price-tag in mind, that it would be overkill for day-trips, and too heavy for multiple day trips. I prefer "UL with comfort" mentality, and my 42L Gossamer Gear pack for hiking weighs less than half of this pack (709 gram). So I couldnt really see to fit it in, but its a sweet pack nonetheless. Its even pretty looking....
Wow only 709 grams for a 42L bacpack! Thats ultra light 😁👍 well chosen and nice reasoning. This backpack is a big investment and hope it doesn’t need to be replaced before a couple decades 😄🤞
@@westcoastbushcrafters yeah, I think you have a point, its most likely longer living, being that much more sturdy. But shaving off an entire 2 kg's from my old backpack alone did it for me.
It looks nice but it's a bit too small in my honest opinion, I just recently upgraded from a similar sized bag to modular 60-100L old military surplus backpack! And honestly? I don't think it can be beat! Not in size, quality or value for money 🙅🏻🤷🏻 Great video otherwise and keep on keeping on! 👍
Thanks a lot! And thanks for your honest comment! Going through all comments tonight and it is quite interesting what people prefer. Are you hiking a lot multiple days? I have an older Lowe Alpine appalachain 65 + 15 that works for the long tours. This works for every bushcraft Wednesday😁👍 cheers🍻
Thanks for a great overview of the pack and of some great scenery!
Glad you enjoyed it!😁👍
Perfect video guys! 🤟🙂🍀 Greetings from Slovakia 🙂

Thanks a lot!😄 Interesting with the mesh bag. Have to look into that one. Really love this backpack. Always a joy to bring it along. Cheers🍻
Great video! I was considering a Singi for a daypack but i went for the Savotta Kahakka 25 instead and i love it.
Thank you! That is nice! Was also thinking between the Savotta L and the singi. Good to hear you are satisfied!

Nice! Have you tried the Singi Stubben? It looks nice and has the advantage of a built-in stool. Doesn't carrying all that firewood get heavy?😁
Haha the secret opening helps😂👍. We have not tried the Singi stubben but would be interested to do that. Can imagine great for hunting and fishing
Very very nice backpack, the only downside for me, is the price, otherwise it is an incredible pack. I got my cap!!! 🥳🥳🥳 thank you guys!!!
That is awesome! We hope you like it😁🥳! Pretty expensive the backpack is and hope it will last for a loooong time😁🤞

Can imagine, 2 kg more or without is noticeable 😁👍
