I never lived in that time... This generation sucks... I was born 20 years to late.. fuk it...😔
XD truth.
Such a unique voice. Can't really compare this song to anything else. Such a badass mix of melody and harsh vocals.
You can see how Dave the drummer knows how special the lead singer is!!! Loves it!
IT'S REALLY AMAZING THE 5TH DRUMMER BUT KURT'S MUSIC 🎶 UNBELIEVABLE AMAZING EXPERIENCE BRAVO 🎶 👏 💯 PERCENT AMAZING THANKS LORETTA
I decided to search for this band ,because I see a lot of them on tshirts. Lol .And Im not disappointed. Damn, they're amazing.

Pat is the silent hero in this Unplugged. His guitaring is so subtle and really compliments Kurt.
especially during that solo 🤘
Pat's silence in unplugged with his guitar playing is just like how quiet George Harrison was in his performances with The Beatles.
Kurt is just as good live as he is when he isn't. It takes true talent to achieve this. May he forever rest in peace. What a legend, forever.
Some songs might be better live like ‘About a Girl’ and ‘Dumb’ !

words cannot express how grateful i am for my dad making me listen to this when i was a kid
No matter what Pat is doing he always looks like he's enjoying being there
“Uh so I want the set to look like a funeral”
Hearing that was apparently how he described the MTV Unplugged set how he wanted it to look is haunting as hell
I've always thought Kurt Cobain was a beautiful man, his face was sort of angelic at times. I love his face. And that raspy voice.
He is. Also the best Piscean in this world.
@ShayQueen And sucks to be a Cancer like his wife...
@ShayQueen i do a pisces man🙋
@@MrGoodman174 Saul, is that you??
'Sure you get that a lot. In any case, you're right. As a Capricorn, if I remember correctly back from when I really used to get down and study the shit out of the zodiac (so much so that I got good at guessing peoples' signs), apparently we are not supposed to get along very well. But I am also a Libran ascendent, raised by two Librans - one a double - and also have a baby sister and auntie who are randomly Libran ascendents. Point being I think maybe all that Air rubbed off on me, and there hasn't been Piscean the water sign yet that I have not gotten along with.

Most underrated comment
I'm not ruining the 420 likes to respect our month and year!
Someone explain to me why so many people think the Puddle of Mudd cover's so horrible? I heard their cover. While it's not _good,_ I've heard much worse. It's not like they blew up the theater.
@@101Volts It’s because its a cover of an iconic song, that isnt covered much, done by a fairly well known band, done so wrong. Someone fucks up a cover of hallelujah, oh well, there’s hundreds of thousands of those, but its just like fergie with the national anthem. It was done so well originally that it shouldnt be touched.
I've never seen a David Grohl so calm in the drums...!
Being savage on the drums has nothing to do in an unplugged set lol
Cause in unplugged is not necesary
Dave*
Fun fact: the people in charge of this concert at one point were considering either canceling the show or getting a different drummer to replace Dave Grohl because he was bashing the drums too hard even after they told him to rein it in a little. The solution was to give him the drum rakes he used that night instead of drum sticks, and the rest is history.
He should’ve used his ponytail to hit the symbols
30 years since Kurt been gone. Holy shit time flies now I'm 50.

I wish I could be as happy as Pat looks. In every single video he's performing with Nirvana he looks like he is having the time of his fucking life.
it's the drugs
Lol
Sera pretty sure he was drunk, I remember watching an interview and he mentioned he was a heavy drinker when they performed.
Same with Krist. Pat doesn't get the credit he deserves.
Lol being in Nirvana is something that will make somebody happy
say what you want, I always thought his voice was fuckin PERFECT.. it had style, character, some rasp, and still hit the emotion of the song..

Yeah, when I think about it he usually beats the living ghost out of them.
The first time I heard this and realised who it was, it blew my mind, it was an absolute revelation to me. The whole unplugged album is a big reveal, a stripped back to basics reveal of just what a truly great songwriter Kurt was, a reveal of his inspirations, a reveal of his depth of musical knowledge and interests. I had a whole new understanding and respect for Kurt Cobain after hearing Nirvana Unplugged.
Love the fake smile at the end. That's how I smile at the world most of the time myself.
Happy?
Fake :)

I love how Kris and Pat look like they're having a great time, Dave looks serious and Kurt looks like he's a rabbit in the headlights.
He was dope sick when they did this.
Dave was trying too hard not to smash on those drums lol
Pat = no shoes.
I think Kurt kind of always felt like that.
Kurt always had that look thats what made him Kurt Cobain. He just didnt care it was about the 🎵 music.

wow, you copy and pasted the lyrics into the song! you deserve a pat on the back!!!
Puddle of Mudd's cover destroys this. Literally.

About a Girl is probably the one Song that I without a doubt prefer the Unplugged version. Sounds so much better Acoustic in my opinion.

Bengie P. Scene Exactly, nirvana is probably the one band where I like their live stuff more than the studio versions.

I wish Kurt knew how beautiful he was.
he knew it
@@JoelLinus That make it worst cuz he still killed himself;'v
He didn’t know it. Clearly you don’t know anything about Kurt it you think he thought he was good looking. He wore 5 shirts to make himself look bigger cuz he always got made fun of for being skinny. Let’s say he did for arguments sake. Being in a similar place, using 500-1k worth of heroin a day we were similar and it makes no diff cuz your numb/m. Using that much allows you to feel just enough to hate and destroy everything you hold dear.
He wasn't
Josh, yeah and his photos were often shrouded in album booklets. The video "Heart-Shaped Box" pretty much sums how he viewed himself. Everyone that knew him got worried because they knew he wasn't acting in it.
Kurt's voice was so pure and beautiful. He was gone too soon, a wonderful singer. I wish I could have seen him one day😢😢
XD Did you see that fake smile, he forces at the end. That's like 1000% me smiling on family photos.
Schachtel The story behind that fake smile is that the producer of this show told Kurt before the concert to smile more for the cameras. So Kurt in his sarcastic ways did a fake smile. LOL
yes! lol
yess
+RebelThoughts82 that smile is still so cute xp
+Schachtel Because he was a man of his heart, he can't act. Truly an art person he was.
I love that singular chord strum at 1:55. It sounds so twinkly and glittery. It only occurs once in this song.

Yeah, the way musicians do certain strums really makes performances unique
Now I cant get off of it

his voice is so.... so special, i know that its not that 'Worldclass' or can hit the right note or whatever what people call it, but his voice... perfectly imperfect
