Tim is insanely talented, as are everyone else in the band. Tim has even said “I couldn’t play what they do,” which kind of adds to what he feels about his bandmates.
@@narayanbhujelbhujelnarayan2611 True, before he even started guitar he grew up learning violin and practicing for I forget how many hours but it was a lot (if the source of the video is to be believed). Either way he definitely is the type that just worked super hard and practiced constantly to get where he is. In my mind he deserves all the success he's garnered.
Welcome aboard the Polyphia train, Millie! If you liked the spanish flair here, you could also like Chimera. But there are many others in this release record that are bangers; Bloodbath, The Audacity, or ABC. A personal (but slightly less popular) recommendation of mine is 40hz, the video is pretty adorable.
Man i love Goose and The Worse, also Icronic. Crazy songs with so much soul in them. When people say they don't like the technicality of their songs from latest album and new levels new devils, I refer them to the EP The Most Hated for more soul and feeling in their songs.
buddy of mine last year pre ordered the guitar Tim is playing in the video, he got it last monday and for 700 bucks it is an absolutely incredible guitar
seeing them on next thursday Vip. manuels band unprocessed is opening. My best friend zachs guitarist actually helped write this song, and actually in the credits his names Wes, theyre from the band alluvial. ill show them this video when i see them
Since you like this, I would like to recommend you to listen the band Return To Forever and the piece "Romantic Warrior" which is a title song for an album as well. The reason is that when I heard "Playing God" it reminded me of that piece as well. If you are not familiar with the group, it features guitarist Al Di Meola, keyboardist / founder member Chic Corea, bassist Stanley Clarke and drummer Lenny White.
I see no Tina S on your channel so somebody has to do it - here is one to get started "Ludwig van Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata ( 3rd Movement ) Tina S Cover"
Its actually bossa nova not flamenco. The part in the video where they switch to sitting in the room is where it starts. Tim said that his friends father suggested the chord progression to him.
I also watched something along these lines but with the added part that Tim Henson, lead guitarist tries to come up with really difficult rifts to push himself to learn them. His style is said to be almost impossible to cover.
this is just melody i don't understand Please someone tell me what's the differences, i though it was metal and orchestra melody just it. Reference : BMTH - Stevie wonder's eye only BMTH - i used to make out with
I noticed that you play the bass and I think it will only be right that you dive into some Rush! I suggest starting with Tom Sawyer. Geddy Lee is the bass player and he is considered among one of the greatest bass players of all time.
I played around with this tune and just made a fan-made Extended Edit of Playing God for those that enjoy longer versions of songs. I am quite pleased with how it came out. Remember it is fan-made and not professionally done so don't be too critical. I hope that you don't mind me posting the link here. Very nice reaction video by the way. ua-cam.com/video/HR6bZsvrfws/v-deo.html

Yeah but it is also due to his practice and hard work. Hardwork beat talent

He can actually but not as well... it's all about the feel
@ he could, but if you read what I said… he said he couldn’t.
Great reaction! Same exact one I got when I first heard it. Absolute chills down my spine during the bridge, acoustic and drum build up parts.

Nicely done. Those dog barks are perfectly timed.

Oh this! I love Chimera except the last third of the song with Lil West.
Bloodbath was good too.
It's 40oz I think.
@@gavingrinie2951 Bwahaha, yes! 40 hz could be a good song name nowadays considering how low their guitars go.

Ego Death ft. Steve Vai next =]
Is this a reupload? Because I remember you talking about Paco De Lucia.
You mentioned paco de lucia and I immediately subbed. NIce.
I guess the Guzheng cover version by Moyun will also blow your mind :)
Great song and fun reaction. there is a cover of this done on the Guzheng that is equally as amazing. You should give it a watch.

yeah, trap. combined with flamenco feel to it

What they do is create a song digitally, then learn it on the instruments. It's certainly an interesting way of doing it.
I also watched something along these lines but with the added part that Tim Henson, lead guitarist tries to come up with really difficult rifts to push himself to learn them. His style is said to be almost impossible to cover.
@@playingwithevil118 It's a great way to learn, he seems like a smart dude.
The irony of a musician not syncing the audio correctly xD
Maybe you should listen to Commander in chief Zigeunerwiesen. Think you would love that actually. Female amazing guitarist
