Never in my life did I think that a prog/math rock/hip hop fusion could work with bossa nova, but they nailed it on all aspects. Really good track. Polyphia never disappoints.
Don’t forget the flamenco during the first half as well.
This was like a jam session between John McLaughlin, Chick Corea mixed in with rock, metal, hip-hop, Lo-Fi, with just a touch of anime. And they absolutely crushed this. This is one of those Tunes you actually end up find yourself thinking about and humming much later if and when you're not doing the air guitar portion of it

I feel as though Tim gets so much attention, however entire band is phenomenal in each of their fields.

@@TheOneSoulMate_ i like fancy shit. But it’s kinda their persona and it plays into the hip hop fusion. If you Google Balmain sweater, it’s the first image. They’re all wearing expensive stuff tho. Tim has Gucci slides on in the famous GOAT soundcheck play through in Scotland. The lettering for Playing God is also the Gucci font, it’s similar to Yves St Laurent font also. I could go on and on about their fashion, probably have a problem lol.

@@SOAREMusicOfficial lol, it is one of their more obscure recent songs and i don't think they list it as featuring polyphia. Tim says that he wrote and recorded it in a day and never heard back until he heard the final song. But yeah it's "brand new day" if you wanna check it out

You trying to instruct this band of truly Masterful musicians how to change and learn how to write was amazingly funny. How many albums have you produced or and how many millions of views have you received? Stay in you own lane, it's safer there.
Not quite, excellent technical musicians. However, what I hear is Flamenco and then Brazilian jazz...which have been around for decades, nothing breakthrough, nothing really new.
But not a lot ppl do it or even do it right. Haters will hate.
