Never in my life did I think that a prog/math rock/hip hop fusion could work with bossa nova, but they nailed it on all aspects. Really good track. Polyphia never disappoints.
This was like a jam session between John McLaughlin, Chick Corea mixed in with rock, metal, hip-hop, Lo-Fi, with just a touch of anime. And they absolutely crushed this. This is one of those Tunes you actually end up find yourself thinking about and humming much later if and when you're not doing the air guitar portion of it
that description of how fancy it is lmao GOLD Always love some friendly TALKING In a reaction video I DID See the intro riff wayyy back when he posted the teaser but I did not expect the direction this song went in, either way, i love it
the amount of disrespect to scotty is nuts. "they need a duet between tim and the vocalist" Jesus. you people don't understand what's going on in front of your eyes.
@@TheOneSoulMate_ i like fancy shit. But it’s kinda their persona and it plays into the hip hop fusion. If you Google Balmain sweater, it’s the first image. They’re all wearing expensive stuff tho. Tim has Gucci slides on in the famous GOAT soundcheck play through in Scotland. The lettering for Playing God is also the Gucci font, it’s similar to Yves St Laurent font also. I could go on and on about their fashion, probably have a problem lol.
Gotcha! Very observant. I love Tim’s fashion choices. I especially like all the choices in this video. It’s not overly done. Kinda Low Key high fashion. Thanks for telling me where to look!
Liked the song, and it was not what i expected at all. Also didn't expect Yukon's little rant towards the end about how fancy that elevator music would be xD.
It’s funny when someone can’t wrap their head around music without a singer and thinking that Tim needs to practice playing to add a singer at his level of talent. Not trying to throw shade but I hope they never add a singer and take music to the next level.
PRE-REACTION COMMENT - I don't think they want vocals and I don't think they need it at all. Perfectly comfortable with no vocals here. NOT SURE why so many people try to fit them into a standard.... "They NEED to do this!!! mmmm no they need to keep doing what they're doing.... and YOU need to decide whether you're going to continue listening or not
You trying to instruct this band of truly Masterful musicians how to change and learn how to write was amazingly funny. How many albums have you produced or and how many millions of views have you received? Stay in you own lane, it's safer there.
This reminds me SO much of "once upon a time in Mexico" when Antonio banderas plays malegueña selarosa... and also looks like she needed a cigarette after the intro lol
@@SOAREMusicOfficial lol, it is one of their more obscure recent songs and i don't think they list it as featuring polyphia. Tim says that he wrote and recorded it in a day and never heard back until he heard the final song. But yeah it's "brand new day" if you wanna check it out
Not quite, excellent technical musicians. However, what I hear is Flamenco and then Brazilian jazz...which have been around for decades, nothing breakthrough, nothing really new.

Don’t forget the flamenco during the first half as well.

Throw in Al DiMeola
that description of how fancy it is lmao

either way, i love it
It was creative that's for sure 🤣🤣
Ya we saw it way back too but definitely didn't expect it to go the way it did!

"They need to play jazz".
*insert bossa nova stage left*
Let's be honest they are already insanely jazzy with their insane charisma and skills!!!!🤘😁
The most epic description of this song I’ve ever heard.
I feel as though Tim gets so much attention, however entire band is phenomenal in each of their fields.
Subscribed! You guys are awesome
Yay!!!!🎉😃 Glad to have you here!😃😁🤘
2:48 - 2:56 sexy line isn't it?
Super sexy latin line!
Definitely classy..Tim’s wearing a Balmain sweater that’s $3k. I love it lol.
Wow, how did you know that?

She nailed it. Tim is already lead vocals so for vocals to mesh with the band it needs to duet.
Her initial reaction said a lot ahaha
Yes it did 🤣🤣
"the most endangered spieces"
"and then they ask you which one you wanna eat!"
I'm dead xD
Love how some random youtube girl thinks she knows how Polyphia should practise. Some people are hilarious...
It was filmed in Hall of State, Texas.
That's awesome!
Soooo...... no one reacted on a reaction, Right ........
Liked the song, and it was not what i expected at all. Also didn't expect Yukon's little rant towards the end about how fancy that elevator music would be xD.
It's a good song! If you liked it you should check out more of their stuff! Ya we didn't expect it either 🤣🤣

Oh! Good comparison!!! 🤘😁 LOL! Definitely 🤣
This song is sassy and I like it… 😎
Legendas Brasil por favorrr🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
The babymetal ft polyphia is the best vocals on a polyphia song
What?! How did we miss this cross over?!

Floor Jansen should be their vocalist, awesome 😎

But not a lot ppl do it or even do it right. Haters will hate.
Useless comment
