- Stone artifacts found on the American Continent used by the Ancient inhabitants of the Americas including the American Indian. This is an ancient stone foot carved out of hard green stone the size of a small child's foot.
I found one that fits a hand and is flat on the bottom. Appears that this could be slipped under your foot to grind grain against a stone or smash grapes or fruit. I found mine out in Wendover Nevada and it is clearly for a left hand and is used to grind grain.
It has what's called a Levy Crest in the area just behind the toes. It makes me think that it *was* used as a last for making moccasins. (I'm a custom shoe maker.) What a great piece!!
Exactly. I do costume design for film, and that was the first thing I thought of for it.
You found a stone that looks like a footprint but it is not a footprint! I found A stone that looks like a smiley face it’s not a smiley face!
Sorry, this is just a rock.
There is no such thing as "just a rock". Every rock has ageless history and countless stories to tell. It is possible the general shape is mostly natural, but look closely you can see the bear effigy that was added. This stone was put in or near fire and used to dry wet moccasins, and possibly used for some "foot magic" by some shaman at some time. I admit all this is speculative, but so is saying it is "just a rock".
I have one too. At one time I had found two but the other was lost in a move. I'm native and I feel these stones are something, I could only guess though I think they may have some connection to the spiritual. We have stories about the little people, they are sacred to many tribes including mine and are here in the forests where I live.
Cherity Opal Ondaanimad Osiyo Igido, we also have many stories of the little people and the bigger people. But I never see people show much evidence about the little people. I know other tribes have to have something. I can't be the only one willing to show and tell as it were. I tried talking to the official archivist for the Tribe I'm acquainted with. But he almost laughed at me when I said little people. Needless to say he was not part of the tribe. But just hired by them. I would present them if I saw other like minded individuals do the same. I have a stone human brain. Very detailed. Very symmetrical. And very many items that are not mainstream archaeology. Peace out.
I have found several of these around my land as well as finding evidence of /contact with the ones of the woods. Nice to see I’m not the only one out there! I do believe it’s laid on the path of certain ppl to open their world to new path... see things from different perspective (someone else’s shoes). And the good ol saying “never judge another until you walk two moons in their moccasins”
I wonder if the feet ones weren't used when they were making moccasins
@@MsTalkintina I have found many foot shaped rocks in various sizes and had come to the same thought.
I found the stone foot ,it's about a size 7 in woman foot. I would like to speak with someone who can help identity it.
I have a baby one for a 3 month old maybe . They are called a Last. I was told mines just a rock too but I think they were used for making Moccasins for Trade in the summer months. Besides, picture holding a toddler or baby in place to make a foot impression.
Anna Beaulne how interesting. Thanks for sharing !
I have stone that look like feet and one that looks like boot.
@@libertyrocks9369 I have a few interesting pieces , crystal jaw with partial tongue ,many Native Artifacts and Mud Fossils too.
I have found this type of foot as well. I think I see some stitching like on mocasins and the ones I find appear to have similar stitching in same areas.
No no they are not used for the spiritual they were use for a pattern for the size up moccasins!
No, put in fire and dry out your wet moccasins. And, also used for spiritual purposes, possibly...
If you look closely at the details you will find carving of bears , eagles, wolf's and on the Sharp edge should be a shape of a man's face. They are called hidden art and portable art . I have a foot but mine's about 15-18 inches I also have one about an inch long . Don't just look at the shape of the rocks but all the details in the lines and cracks and the low and raised spots you might also find a Bigfoot face on some and foot carvings on other pieces I have some that has all of them on them some look like hearts some like arrow heads but they are all tools with a purpose
Do you see all the numbers ,
So sad
There’s no arch in that stone foot...
Billy, quit trying to pawn off rocks as artifacts.
Im trying to find his stuff on ebay. Its starting to be entertaining and sad at the same time.
Cool
Collecting "foot" rocks and triangles is how I noticed all the similarities. A LOT of my tools have a "toe" (like yours), a "finger" (long toe) or a "nose" (wide triangle "toe"). A lot of mine are concave on one side and convex on the other side like a foot too.
Another pattern that I find in these artifacts is the way they are notched. For example the notch that helps define the big toe in this video. Thanks for your comments.
@@WilliamShira how can you find hundreds of artifacts and tools or whatever you think they are and you never have a single knapped projectile point in any of your videos.
when u flipped it you can see its an animal. They always carve animals or humans. Look for the eye then look for an animal. It looked like a mammoth or one of those prehistoric giant hornles rhino looking animals.
Take a second look you will see the other effigies. Fo instance the "big toe" is a bear's ear, look you can see the bear head. Look below, the bear head is a hat for a man face profile. Continue to spin and flip to see more. I suspect even the edges have imagery.
Its just a rock. You are just as looney as he is.
A rock…just a rock and a vivid imagination
The notch and shape look like a shaft straightener. Look like finger grooves on one side.
Have you watched mudfossil university??!!! Thats probably an actual foot!
Mudfossil University what? Is that a TV show or what?
@@MsTalkintina its a channel here on youtube! Roger has some interesting videos on mud fossils
Are you 100% sure this is a foot or form? Just curious?
It is a theory based upon where I found it with similarities and methods of craftsmanship of artifacts found in the same area.
@@WilliamShira you are crazy you need to be committed.
@@WilliamShiraI found a foot shaped rock here in colorado it's about 10 inches long. I have had for some time now and this is the first time that I have found other folks who have a stone foot. I'm so excited that there others who have a stone foot.. reached
💩 it's a petrified baby big foot
How special is the foot!!
Maybe it was part of a sandal?
I found one
awesome videos thanks
Cool! Another piece would really bolster your theory! Keep it up!
That is a "Moccasin Last" it is a rare artifact indeed. It is what was used to make a mocassin. You flip it to make a left or right. You nailed it ist is a pattern for a show. If you ever find a giant one contact me i have seen one 14" and it went thru an auction and i didnt get it.
Can you tell me more about this stone foot that looks like a foot.
Whatcha think it's worth. I have two looks just like this
I too, have one of these unmistakably shaped stones
Just a rock Billy. Go home!
Seems to be a effigy of a human foot. Functional use as a tool polisher and abrader.
I found a river stone that resembles an infant's foot. It has toes, the ball, arch, and heal. I gave it to my daughter who is expecting.
