    According to geologists columnar formations are igneous, formed deep beneath the surface of the earth. I am not posting these videos to dispute with geologists. It is through the study of geology and archeology that I have come to some of the theories and conclusions that I have come up with. I am not one and never have been one to just believe anything that I read or study in a book or in a lecture etc... That does not mean that I don't read and study the experts. That would be absurd to say the least. My college education, if anything, taught me to broaden my understanding of things. It taught me to explore, to prod, to question, to wonder. Not for the sake of argument but in pursuit of truth. I do not understand everything, but that is my point, neither do the geologists or scientists understand everything. If everyone accepted what the experts say carte-blanche, Columbus would never have discovered America. I have not come to my conclusions as easily as some of those who have posted comments. I am an explorer, a journalist, looking for answers to questions that experts have not been able to answer to my satisfaction. And thats okay, at least they seem to have the same desire that I do to keep on searching, learning, and striving to find the answers to the truth, what ever that might be.

      Have you read the Book of Mormon? You said that you like to keep an open mind in your pursuit of truth. It talks about ancient American civilizations dating back to the time when the Tower of Babel was built. Take it or leave it. Just a thought.

      All stories from that book of mythology have been disproven. The LDS have no evidence of any such claims. None exists. Story in the book has Jews coming over here just a few thousand years ago. Then Jesus visiting. LOL!! um, no.

      Some things can only be known through faith. Cursed is he who puts his trust in the arm of flesh. It all comes down to desire. Are you willing to study it out and receive an answer from God himself or do you just want to rely on the evidence of man? Just something to think about. I know most people see with their eyes and hear with their ears and anyone who sees through the eyes of faith is just a lunatic. But I am sticking to my God for evidence and anything that contradicts what He has to say is not truth. I will get my evidence straight from He who created all and sees all that man cannot. Those recounted in the Bible thought the same thing. They wanted signs or they wouldn't believe. If God gave them evidence, then they wouldn't grow in faith, but what they could only see with their eyes and hear with their ears. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever and He speaks through a prophet as He did in times of old and just like in times of old, many people rejected Him because they were seeking signs and evidence and not relying on faith.

    • @216trixie
      @216trixie 7 років тому +3

      I used to be fooled by faith and god-belief. It's quite a deception. I hope you wake up.

    • @dannygreen2382
      @dannygreen2382 7 років тому +1

      Maybe it is those who don't believe or who don't want to believe who are asleep as to spiritual things. Why not try researching it and praying about it in sincerity before condemning it? Take it or leave it, but I pray you will. It is easy to mock those who are small in number who are willing to stand up to what they believe in, even when it is unpopular. You may be surprised in what you find if you will but look. I used to be a staunch unbeliever and used to mock those who believed in something that sounded so ridiculous and thought that it was just something for people to simply put their hope in a world that was so unforgiving. It wasn't until I started seriously pondering what truth was and trying to find it for myself, did I receive a witness. Point is don't be so quick to discredit those if you aren't willing to seek answers yourself. Have you read the Book of Mormon or are you just relying on what others have said? You say that you hope that I wake up, but what does it matter if I don't wake up according to you? If this life is all that we have, then why does it matter to you? If I'm right, then it does matter that you wake up. You have more to lose than I do.

    You see it as do I.It's almost everywhere here in the US although more likely passed by without any thought. I find it Strange that everywhere else on Earth, we here Lot's of stories of some Ancient past from long ago. Here in the US though, if found. One has to go through a maze in order to bring it up for discussion. Other then recording everything down yourself, most emails go unnoticed, called sediment and blown off.
    Any reason why?

    • @WilliamShira

      History would have to be rewritten. Geology would have to change their theories about rock formations. Archeology would have to deviate from their ideologies. Nobody wants to buck the system. I don't understand everything about these ancient people but I am beginning to realize there was a civilization here bigger then most of us can imagine. Thanks for watching.

      Good New's is that their History is falling apart! Archeology is a tight circle, rare if anything is allowed to go mainstream. All it would take is a small object lol to break down every part of our System including Relig.
      Sad part though, really! I would like to actually know what is under my House! Yet if I'm not mistaking, we were running for our lives back in the day of Mankind as the Story Goes anyway.

    hi william, that sure is some beautiful country. your mountains are a lot younger than the ones we have here in the east. i think you have a natural rock formation in this vid. are you in utah? here's from wiki:
    ''A hoodoo (also called a tent rock, fairy chimney, and earth pyramid) is a tall, thin spire of rock that protrudes from the bottom of an arid drainage basin or badland. Hoodoos, which may range from 1.5-45 metres (4.9-147.6 ft), typically consist of relatively soft rock topped by harder, less easily eroded stone that protects each column from the elements. They generally form within sedimentary rock and volcanic rock formations.[citation needed]
    Hoodoos are found mainly in the desert in dry, hot areas. In common usage, the difference between hoodoos and pinnacles (or spires) is that hoodoos have a variable thickness often described as having a "totem pole-shaped body". A spire, on the other hand, has a smoother profile or uniform thickness that tapers from the ground upward. An example of a single spire, as an earth pyramid, is found at Aultderg Burn, near Fochabers, Scotland.
    Hoodoos range in size from the height of an average human to heights exceeding a 10-story building. Hoodoo shapes are affected by the erosional patterns of alternating hard and softer rock layers. Minerals deposited within different rock types cause hoodoos to have different colors throughout their height.
    Hoodoo within the Chinle Formation, west of Moab, Utah, along the Chicken Corners off-road trail. Ridge in background is part of the Wingate Sandstone.
    Hoodoos are commonly found in the High Plateaus region of the Colorado Plateau and in the Badlands regions of the Northern Great Plains (both in North America). While hoodoos are scattered throughout these areas, nowhere in the world are they as abundant as in the northern section of Bryce Canyon National Park, located in the U.S. state of Utah.''
    i enjoy your vids, gives me another glimpse of the paleo world to compare with. from what i see on the east coast, we had a huge population of indians 10,000 years ago. they were magicians with stone. archeologists haven't noticed it yet.

    While I am for exploring alternative explanations for things so as to understand what is true versus what some dude who claims something to be true but is actually false, I have to disagree with the idea that these rocks represent a civilization.
    They appear to be basalt (an igneous or volcanic rock) that are cleaving in predicatable patterns (in this case: octagonal columns) due to molecular (crystalline) structure. Those tubes seem to also be lava tubes and is why they also are cracked on thier walls in a roughly octagonal pattern like the columns.
    I've seen basalt formations of this kind elsewhere in the US. I've also seen stone structures on top of them but those were stacked purposely and would likely have had daub and plant matterial to bind them back in the day as they were often laid as walls or wind breaks.

    interlocking rock construction was made like concrete by a process called geo-polymer : base stone material is located in places where it's of quality of sand/powder then transported and poured and mixed with perhaps another thing such as lime and bird or bat guano is used for the agent to solidify the slurry once the water is added, such is the case as least for one mega-lythic site in central america that a French man analyzed and published and you can hear him lecture via video.

    Ok so I'm with you on the artifacts 100% brother but some of the concaved confexed features you point out appear to be natural geology. I'm not in the field with you so I can only go on video appearance, but I'm somewhat sceptical..🤔 Don't get me wrong I'm a fan & find similar confirmed artifacts so I know you know your stuff but again the features you point out seem to be discredited by the more natural features toward the end of the video. Yes the cavernous features are most interesting but they appear for all intensive purposes to part of the natural rock outcroppings. Let's put it this way why would native Americans build such "structures" against the actual basalt bedrock formations.? What would be the likely purpose of such small cavernous holes..? I welcome your feedback in an an attempt to get my head around the purpose. I may very well be missing something, but againim sceptical & for good reason ..🤔 You've lost me on this one brother.

    Man made? They are mudfossils. Ancient peices of bodies,that died and there they are. Looks like stone, yes, but are body parts from ancient Giants. Mud Fossil University on UA-cam. Check it out and see what you are looking at.

    mother nature did all this, not some native culture. freeze and thaw - cold and heat, no artifacts to be found and natives that did not live longer then their 20's had time to cut this rock like that. Usually the best explanation is the facts at hand, not made up hype. like some of the people who commented stated... it takes millennia to build up the patina. Seen the same pattern in Mexico from sun and cold crack rock like this. Mother nature.

    To handle some of these big artifacts a Native American would have been 7-8 feet tall at least. That grinding bowl is one of the biggest I ever seen.

    The hexagonal formations look natural, similar to the giants causeway in Ireland, although much fatter than the Irish formations. As for the convex, concave surfaces, that looks like natural faults breaking the pillars up into sections, and the fact their not perfect indicates its natural not manmade. The shapes too complex in the bowls, not being perfect. If you found gaps in them, with material missing, then it could of been. But natural breaks don't form perfect bowls and the mated piece still fits perfectly. To be man made, and be imperfect indicates low precision, but the perfect mated piece indicates extraordinary precision if man made, which is a contradiction, hence not logical to think that.

    Please Google to Giants Stairway in Northern Ireland. A world famous basalt formacion. You wil see that this pure achealogical site consists of male and female rocks, fitting perfectly. So this problem is solved. No archeology, only beautifull geology.
