hello...where do you get that plastic? it seems much easier to use than saran wrap. I'm just starting out doing this, is that a torch you use at the end?
Susan - Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Today I made the breakthrough I really needed after trying since Christmas to find a technique I can build on. I actually managed to create something I love and it is all down to this technique and your excellent video. No inane chatter - just an artist at work - a real privilege to watch and to be given the /opportunity to learn is learn from you is priceless. I won't lie - I did a little dance when my effort emerged.
I am legitimately going to try this right now. I did not see that coming with the plastic. I've just about given up on acrylic pouring. I think you have given me the inspiration to give it another go. Thank you Susan
i thought, at first, before the plastic overlap, that this flower is not very good -nothing special but after that plastic was removed and the end result was revealed, i gasped! Beautiful! I'll try this, definitely!
I must admit that I loved it at the beginning, then I was thinking no, less is more, thought you had ruined it and then the bag trick and like magic!! wow.
Thank you for showing us how to drop paint. Your art is beautiful, and very appealing. You were kind enough to list supplies and other tutorials. I’m going to get my acrylics out and try playing with them. Wow, artists are gonna art no matter the supplies or setting. Amazing
🌷Love you took time to think, evaluate, create, not just flip and pour! Your input made this, not just happenstance, your creativity. Love the calmness you share. So appreciated. Thought, calmness and creativity equal great results for everyone in every direction. Congratulations! Perfectly beautiful. I subscribed!🙏
Thank You so much for the lovely comments. There are a few people that think this video took too long to get going but I say you can't rush art. Thanks!!
I haven't viewed this for two months and I do believe it is more beautiful then when i saw it last. I really love how it finished. Thank you so much for this video, simply beautiful. Yes, of course I'm subscribed, how could you not! 💜Love your work💜
I absolutely LoVE this! AMAZING!! You are so very talented. I love that you aren't afraid of the results of your curiosity. Even though your expectations weren't what you ended up with, you still brought life and beauty into your piece. ... You are brilliant and I am just in complete awe! You give so much inspiration!! ~ Jessica Smith
Susan, I have one that turned out like this! Wish I could show you! I had to do a double take when I saw the cover image, wow, yours turned out waaaay better! 🤪
This is so awesome!! I actually gasped when you lifted the plastic and yelled out loud to myself, "Oh my God, that's awesome!!" Lol. Thank you for sharing!!💕💖💕😱😱🏞🏞
Congratulations! This piece turned out to be so beautiful! Great color combination. I’m going to try it in my next pour. Would you please let me know what tool you used to spread your white base paint. Worked great for evenly spreading thicker paint.
Dear Susan, as I watch many having trouble gathering the corner of the plastic. I have an idea to share. I would have a wooden frame done, staple plastic on the frame. Or, even us an embroidery ring with plastic sheet. Then gently place over the canvas, and then gently lift straight up. Even pressure and lift. Hope this helps. One artist to another.
@@ArtbySusanKing God bless you and your family always Susan, I've been buy little by little son paint, can't buy the canvas to paint but I'm trying other things. Love it, made a mess but had fun doing it. May you keep creating more masterpiece on your UA-cam channel. God bless your talent.
It's so pretty.I want to paint too but since this will be my first time can you pls tell me all the materials you used.i am nearing 80 & I want to do some painting too. thank you .Will wait for your answer
I enjoy watching people who excel at what they do best and how they derive exceptional results from their efforts to achieve success in abstract art. I also enjoy giving people positive feedback and encouragement to uplift their creativity and to give confidence and appreciation for their work. It helps me as well because it gives me the therapy that I crave in life. Good feedback goes a long way towards helping people understand that their creativity is highly valued and appreciated by others. You don’t disappoint. Your creativity is very beautiful and awesome. Thank you for sharing your art with us today and for sharing it with our community of artists who love what they do for therapies sake!❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Oh wow, I hope you don’t do anything else to this gorgeous master piece. When you lifted the plastic wrap off OMG sooo beautiful!!!! You rock. I’m a new viewer to your channel and I’m loving what your doing !!!! 💙
16:43 Love it! It has an elegant look. Classical! It came out at that point using the background as part of the piece which I really like. Every piece of this kind of art, I suspect, is going to be different because the ambient or room temperature is always different as is the humidity, thickness of each paint, the evaporation/drying rate with acrylics. If you used medium, or extenders or even iridescent acrylic paints that would give another effect. U have inspired me to play with paints -- my favorite hobby! Thank you!
13:30 it was so beautiful. I wouldn't be brave to risk the plastic. But the result is incredible. I lack a steady hand and most of all the patience to pull anything like this off. I enjoy watching you create. Thx 4 sharing.
Amen, I don't know if I could risk that much paint! I wish I had cheap paint to try it with. But my hand is unsteady too, and besides that i would hesitate. It reminds me of when people flip food over in a pan by tossing it in the air. Such courage :D
at first it was like, i need to check my glasses lol, it seemed out of focus, but with yr manipulation, it is like it has come into focus, and is very pretty :) is inspiring me to dust off my Liquitex and make some magic too!
You are very patient and careful. It is amazing what results you got on such a small area too. I would like to see what you do on 48x48! Great process. Thank you for explaining in clear and paced manner.

@@GEC416 I’m not sure but sometimes I use the wrapping from canvases.
This is amazing, I think that every step creates a different lovely painting 🎨
