- Art By Susan King. New! Reverse my Dip over a Swirl Pour turned out so awesome. I love acrylic pouring. The reverse part is inspired by Fiona. I thought I'd put a twist on it. I'll call it a Reverse Swirl Dip! The video may be a little long for some but I edited enough out and what was left in was needed to show how this was done. #acrylicpouring

hello...where do you get that plastic? it seems much easier to use than saran wrap. I'm just starting out doing this, is that a torch you use at the end?
@@GEC416 I’m not sure but sometimes I use the wrapping from canvases.
This is amazing, I think that every step creates a different lovely painting 🎨
Very cool, I like it a lot. Inspiring!
Beautiful
This proves one does'nt need to be a professional artist to be able to create amazing artworks.
Thanks , I am a professional artist
It's fabulous!!!!
I don't agree, it takes skills to be able to pull something like that.
I am legitimately going to try this right now. I did not see that coming with the plastic. I've just about given up on acrylic pouring. I think you have given me the inspiration to give it another go. Thank you Susan
Thanks and you're welcome
No, my dear! The white did not take over. Every color that came out is so lovely! Praise God! You are a blessing!
Thank You
So true, it’s a Beauty…Keep up your beautiful work 🤩🤩👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I enjoy watching people who excel at what they do best and how they derive exceptional results from their efforts to achieve success in abstract art. I also enjoy giving people positive feedback and encouragement to uplift their creativity and to give confidence and appreciation for their work. It helps me as well because it gives me the therapy that I crave in life. Good feedback goes a long way towards helping people understand that their creativity is highly valued and appreciated by others. You don’t disappoint. Your creativity is very beautiful and awesome. Thank you for sharing your art with us today and for sharing it with our community of artists who love what they do for therapies sake!❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for the wonderful kind words, I appreciate it. 😊
i thought, at first, before the plastic overlap, that this flower is not very good -nothing special but after that plastic was removed and the end result was revealed, i gasped! Beautiful! I'll try this, definitely!
Thank You
Susan - Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Today I made the breakthrough I really needed after trying since Christmas to find a technique I can build on. I actually managed to create something I love and it is all down to this technique and your excellent video. No inane chatter - just an artist at work - a real privilege to watch and to be given the /opportunity to learn is learn from you is priceless. I won't lie - I did a little dance when my effort emerged.
Wonderful! I'm glad it worked out for you! Thanks for the lovely comments.
Nice work grandma
I think all the best acrylic pour artists come from Canada...the colors of this one just makes me so happy...just gorgeous!!!
Thank You
Everyone is an artist in their own special way. Some use it and others don’t realize it💚. Love it
Thank You
I agree Susan. Primates and elephants have created art. I prefer to have my energy, heart and soul in a piece of art. After all I am giving my time, which is my life, creating something that is supposed to represent me! Not just art work but an artists work! Thank you for your like mindedness. Room for every thing(way) and person(personality), it's just comforting to find understanding. God bless your life. 🌷Mary Lou.
Thank You
It's so kind of you to share your gift and knowledge with us Susan King...thank you!!!
My dad was an artist (oils and watercolors) and I've always wished I'd inherited that gift. I do other arts but I've always wanted to try painting. Now that you've shown me this technique I will try it! Thank you! Your painting is amazing!
Thanks for sharing!!
I must admit that I loved it at the beginning, then I was thinking no, less is more, thought you had ruined it and then the bag trick and like magic!! wow.
Thank You so much Diane
The end result is really nice but I just can’t get over how mesmerizing it looked after just that swirl pour. Mind bending!!!
Thank You
Not just so beautiful but honest too! Look how she acknowledges Fiona's Art. God Bless such talent and honesty.
Thank You Suman
Ahhhhhh.....a complete psychological reboot! Thank you. God bless you.
Thank You
I see people mixing colors I think would never work together and then, BAM! they blend beautifully. You started out with colors I love and it was even more explosive when you revealed after the pull. And I was sitting here actually tensed up fearing you would make a mistake and ruin it. Almost like it was my work. LOL. It is so beautiful. As soon as I get my craft room back I want to make these. It's like fairy flowers. You are magic.
Thank You so much
Thank you for showing us how to drop paint. Your art is beautiful, and very appealing. You were kind enough to list supplies and other tutorials. I’m going to get my acrylics out and try playing with them. Wow, artists are gonna art no matter the supplies or setting. Amazing

Thank You
I haven't viewed this for two months and I do believe it is more beautiful then when i saw it last. I really love how it finished. Thank you so much for this video, simply beautiful. Yes, of course I'm subscribed, how could you not! 💜Love your work💜
Thank You
Dear Susan, as I watch many having trouble gathering the corner of the plastic. I have an idea to share. I would have a wooden frame done, staple plastic on the frame. Or, even us an embroidery ring with plastic sheet. Then gently place over the canvas, and then gently lift straight up. Even pressure and lift. Hope this helps. One artist to another.
Thank You thanks a good idea, I'll try it
You are welcome. Let me know if it works. @@ArtbySusanKing
I taped the plastic to the frame and it worked, thanks
Omg it's beautiful, it's like a flower that nature just put it there to blossom in front of all to see it. God bless you Susan it's unique.
Thank You

great final product! i never thought about using a torch to help dry the paint more quickly
Thank You, it wasn't to dry the paint, it was to pop any air bubbles in the paint

You give so much inspiration!! ~ Jessica Smith
Thank You !
Congratulations! This piece turned out to be so beautiful! Great color combination. I’m going to try it in my next pour. Would you please let me know what tool you used to spread your white base paint. Worked great for evenly spreading thicker paint.
Thank You, I don't know the name of it but it's what you use to spread plaster on walls.
Wow, that was amasing! At first it didn't look like much, and then suddenly there was a flower! Very beautiful!
