How have I not discovered you before? A woman after my own heart-loved your commentary and I was chuckling along with you. Very fun video with amazing results-I’ve done a ton of dips with leftover paint but never made one with intent so thanks for the inspiration!!
Don’t make the bottom a cereal box. Use a larger fresh canvas instead. When you are finished dipping, move - toss what ever you call it, that larger bottom canvas, torch it. You will have the best painting of them all and it won’t be on the inside of a cereal box.
I may be 4 months late watching this but.....these are by far the most fabulous dips I have seen so far! Wish our (US) cereal boxes were white inside instead of grey! Gave me some ideas though, thank you!
Love this! I've always wanted to do acrylic pours, but knew I couldn't handle all the waste that goes with them. So now I know what to do! My plan is to use a large canvas for the pour, then at least 2 dips in it for 3 paintings out of 1 pour and almost no waste! :D
I've watched a; lot of pours and this was is SO exceptional - the shapes, the beautiful colors - inspired me so much I think I will try it after all this time.
This is truely superb, I’ve never seen so many cells within cells within cells. When I saw all the different colours you were using I was thinking “is she serious” Love love love it
DK if you or someone has thought of this already. But, I suggest putting the paint initially on another canvas before you do the dipped canvas. Let both dry, and, you'll have two kinda matching paintings - more if you have enough paint to make them. 👍. I also suggest not using silicone, cause, I liked it a little better before the "cells" popped up in it after you dipped it. I have been wondering if such a method would work - now I know it will. TY for sharing.
@@McEArt Hello - After watching your video a few more times, I am liking the cells which show up after your using the silicone. There are many different colors in each of those cells which become more apparent with each time I watch it. I do appreciate your instructions. 😻
I love this! I don't feel like I'm wasting as much paint as a usual pour. My first time dipping today, I painted 2 - 11 x 14 canvases, 2 vases, a large wood turtle and a large wood cross, all from the paint I dipped in. I used gold, blue, turquoise, white of course and a bit of gray... Thanks for sharing this!
Oooohhhh this came out really nice. I wonder if this would come out just as nicely on some coasters... I may have a project on my hands. Thank you for sharing.

I'm not the artist obviously lol :) but you could mod podge it to a thicker piece of cardboard and simply frame it! Or you can always pay to have prints made if you want it on stretched canvas.
I watched over and over and learn so much from your tutorial! Q: could this be done on a cotton, poly coat/jacket? I will be sitting on the hem of the coat; how do I make the paint stay on? Thank you!!!
Great question. Not recommended for areas that bend with this paint although I have done some pieces with paint additives and other types of paint so check out the playlist here: ua-cam.com/play/PL6bNWlpxRuASmga2PpQG-nEucEdGfWCCX.html
Your art is beautiful and I love it. I'm new to this type of art. Will you please give us the ratio of paint, Floetrol, water and silicone? I really want to try this but don't know where to start. Will I find Floetrol in USA? What is it? What brand of silicone should I look for? Can all this be purchased from Amazon? Thanks so much for your help. I wish I was near by so I could visit but it's not possible. Thank you so much for your beautiful art and videos! 🌷💜

Hi Jocelyne, I use a Butane torch which warms the paint allowing the silicone oil I flicked on to rise up making the bubble / cell looking effect. For more info check out this video ua-cam.com/video/OZTpbeJf7FQ/v-deo.html
Okay you’ve more than peaked my interest. Fist video of this I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen and done some floating ink and “dipped” paper long ago..... I love canvases with paint it’s instant art for the wall ... I’ve always bought craft paint and canvas frames and boards for my daughter. She’s made many for family and some teachers. My tip for hanging canvas board it a pop can tab hot glued centered in the back... I always have to ask my daughter which end is up. Now to research your paint (mixes) and how to make the awesome cells happen I love the wet paint look. I’d love to preserve that look after its dry. How long does it take for your piece to completely dry/set ?
Wondering if you used freezer paper instead of a cereal box, could you have the leftovers become a “skin” that you could glue/affix to another canvas?!!! I do like Paul’s suggestion as well.
I am new to this paint pouring. About a year ago I did my first pour. I am a recycling fool, so dipping was some of my first Peace's. Any paint left I recycle for base for next pour. You can surprise yourself how many different effects you will get. Love your work. Thanks for sharing 💜🙏💜🕊️
Oh wow, do I love. I am feeling the American Native American friends dance with the first one. Reminded me of my Native American friend the past this last Oct.
cristina jones No. Not jealous. Just have seen this this done so many times before. And cells are over rated. How beautiful would the first one be without cells! And I can’t abide the dialogue. Yum.
This is amazing, I would love to do this but not sure where to start, I love to do crafts. What is it you are spraying on the canvas after you have put the paint on the canvas. I thoroughly enjoyed it and have subscribed. Could you please give me a list of supplies needed. Thank you
Hi Barb, First step is to mix your paints, this is a video about how I mix mine: ua-cam.com/video/OZTpbeJf7FQ/v-deo.html Then I flicked silicone on, dipped then used a flame torch to bring up the cells.
Keep the flame above it, it is to warm the paint which pops the air bubbles and brings the silicone to the surface making the cell looking shapes. If you touch the flame to the paint it creates a skin that will then dry funny so not recommended although some like the texture it gives.
You mentioned making fabric with the last of the design on the cereal box, how do you go about that? I see you have a video making cards and jewelry with your run offs, etc. Are there other things you do? Your work is fabulous. First time your video has popped up for me to watch. Loved it and of course subscribed.

@@McEArt thanks 💫
Most beautiful cells ive ever seen..kudos to you.. love them especially the cereal box cells!
Thank you :)
please ...how do you mount the painting on the cardboard.what do you do, to put it on the wall...Beautiful ...thank you
I'm not the artist obviously lol :) but you could mod podge it to a thicker piece of cardboard and simply frame it! Or you can always pay to have prints made if you want it on stretched canvas.
beautiful 😍 looks like the dream catcher keep up the good works .
Thank you so much, I have listed most of the products I use on my Amazon shop amazon.com/shop/mceart
You can see my paint mix video here ua-cam.com/video/OZTpbeJf7FQ/v-deo.html

Beautiful! your colors were perfect together. You could put a mat around the cereal box and frame that as well!!
Yes so totally could! Thank you Joanne :)
fabulous, the bubbles comes from hot wind? what are you using?
Hi Jocelyne, I use a Butane torch which warms the paint allowing the silicone oil I flicked on to rise up making the bubble / cell looking effect. For more info check out this video ua-cam.com/video/OZTpbeJf7FQ/v-deo.html
@@McEArt Thank you very much and congratulations for your work
Okay you’ve more than peaked my interest.
Now to research your paint (mixes) and how to make the awesome cells happen
I love the wet paint look. I’d love to preserve that look after its dry.
How long does it take for your piece to completely dry/set ?
Hi Cindy and welcome!
I love the Pop Can tab idea!! Wow that is cool!!
Once varnished or resined the wet look will come back and make it pop again!
Wondering if you used freezer paper instead of a cereal box, could you have the leftovers become a “skin” that you could glue/affix to another canvas?!!!
I do like Paul’s suggestion as well.
yes you could but I make cards from the cereal box so this is not wasted.
@christinafisk9657 yes it is so much fun to see what shows up :)
@christinafisk9657 yes it is exciting to see what shows up :)
Oh wow, do I love. I am feeling the American Native American friends dance with the first one. Reminded me of my Native American friend the past this last Oct.
How does it get any better than that? Thank you Angela!
The people who gave a 👎are sooo jealous !! Not only did they come out AMAZING!! But the video was so cool to watch and see the results!
cristina jones No. Not jealous. Just have seen this this done so many times before. And cells are over rated. How beautiful would the first one be without cells! And I can’t abide the dialogue. Yum.
Michelle , I enjoy that we get to linger and see closeups of your stunning acrylic jewels. Sparkle on!
Thank you so much! How much more fun can we have now?
This is amazing, I would love to do this but not sure where to start, I love to do crafts. What is it you are spraying on the canvas after you have put the paint on the canvas. I thoroughly enjoyed it and have subscribed. Could you please give me a list of supplies needed. Thank you
Hi Barb, First step is to mix your paints, this is a video about how I mix mine: ua-cam.com/video/OZTpbeJf7FQ/v-deo.html Then I flicked silicone on, dipped then used a flame torch to bring up the cells.
Stunning pictures, what a great way to use all the left over paint, I'm off to create, thank you for your lovely video
Thank you Lynette, how much fun can you have?
Is it the heat that makes the cells and can you use a regular hair dryer? I love it xoxo
Love, Love, Love!! Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you Carol, and thank you for coming to play :)
I haven't money to learn from art
School.. your video becomes my school.. thanks to God and your team.
Thank you Rajendra :) The joy of UA-cam :)
The first dip looks like a flying bird to me, with the birds head and neck on the lower left side. The second dip looks like a flower (to me).
Awesome! I have seen multiple birds but now see the one flying too! Thank you Linda :)
amazing pieces, did you say about the last dip you wanted to put on fabric??
Yes I did :) Check out this video where I explain more ua-cam.com/video/FbFDlrJw9tg/v-deo.html
Do you touch the paint with the flame or just keep it above the paint?
Keep the flame above it, it is to warm the paint which pops the air bubbles and brings the silicone to the surface making the cell looking shapes.
If you touch the flame to the paint it creates a skin that will then dry funny so not recommended although some like the texture it gives.
You mentioned making fabric with the last of the design on the cereal box, how do you go about that? I see you have a video making cards and jewelry with your run offs, etc. Are there other things you do? Your work is fabulous. First time your video has popped up for me to watch. Loved it and of course subscribed.
Thank you Sally and welcome! I talk about the fabric in this video ua-cam.com/video/FbFDlrJw9tg/v-deo.html
Popped up straight away your video,a nice work ilove it..
That is GORGEOUS!
Thank you Lunestia :)
Love your work❤ Could you tell me the little burner name please Cheers from OZ
Thank you Loretta :)
It is a small creme brulei torch from the coin save shop.
Loretta Healy do you know where to buy the Durex play perfect glide or something similar thank you Teena
Hi Teena, Have a look in your personal care section of the pharmacy, This will be near the condoms. There are also hair oils that contain dimethicone that many use :)
HOLY CANVAS🙀!!! THIS IS STUNNING! Love it!💞
Thank you Misty :)
Did it dry ok?
Did you watch till the end? I show the dry result
McE Art I’m so sorry, I wrote that before the video finished 😳
This was so "yummy" and brilliant. I absolutely love how you did this, please do some more.❤️
Thank you!
