- the Navy SEALs stands for Sea, Air, and Land, which identifies the elements in which they operate. SEALs work in small units often one to two men, but sometimes in a platoon comprised of up to 16. They are trained to perform specific tasks under any type of circumstance and in any environment. Their training takes place in the desert, the jungle, in extreme hot and cold weather, and in urban areas.

@@Anonymous18817So far no woman has graduated from buds so I’m not sure how anyone could give an answer for a woman specifically. But if I learned anything, think about what Goggins says, “What if that could be me”. He was I believe the 36th black SEAL, which is pretty amazing. Just do your part and think about the future, not the present while in buds.

@@Anonymous18817 There are no female SEALS and they aren't taking any. They may train them (to a degree) or allow them to go through the O course but they don't move that way, how ever you can train your body in unconventional ways than just cardio and weights and consider that training.
There are ways to train your joints, tendons and ligaments make them flexible and stronger along with proper nutrition. The path you have chosen is one of the hardest in the world but you get your mind right and everything else will fall in. Its the mind conquer your mind

@@Anonymous18817 I am not a doc or something, but in muay thai we do what's called shin conditioning, to make our shinbones harder. Running on concrete, kicking dense heavy bags and other methods can make your bones harder. The principle is that each time you hit a hard bag or put all your weight on one leg while running, your bone breaks just a little bit then heals up and becomes even stronger. Do a quick research on this of course.

Former Naval Special Warfare operator here....I started as a deck ape on a Mazola corn oiler and then went on to Annapolis and majored in towels. I somehow ended up on MEAL Team Ate and was able to take out an enemy combatant with a Smart Corndog at about 800 yards. My stomach is registered with the DoD as a weapon of mass consumption.
