Thanks for the review! I must say im a traxxas man but im leaning more and more to the arrma trucks. Its nice to see the 1:10 4x4 trucks. Cant wait for the other two reviews! Greetings for Leuven (Belgium)
Great video, Greg! I really like this offering from Arrma....I was never a fan of the Fury (I’m just not a 2wd Guy) and the Senton 6S is pretty overkill for a 1/10th size (yet 1/8th driveline)
Hey thanks for posting this video. I am in between a Traxxas slash 4x4 ultimate and this. Can you please give an honest opinion on which I should choose? I heard the price is a big difference puller.
Loved your video, keep it up! I was thinking about buying this, but if I wanted to upgrade to brushless, would I have to replace a lot? And what would I have to replace to make sure it can take the brushless power?
How is the 1/10 bigger than the 1/8?? Maybe the nero might be bigger.. it's so weird they did a traxxas slash move xl the 1/10.. looks great & heard it runs awesome!!
I have one of these, bought it when they first arrived at the hobby store, and was the first to get one about a week ago. I am new to the whole R/C thing, but I love it. Out of the box, it was fun and I loved it, but wanted more! I immediately upgraded to a Kinexsis 4000k motor/esc combo, with a Venom 8.4 5000mah Ni-Mh battery, and it really woke it up! Donuts, dirt, gravel, jumps, it can do it all! I recently went to a 2s Venom Lipo 5000 40c, but did not get to test it out. My brother recently got into the hobby also, and he has an E Revo, with a castle 2200kv motor/esc, thing is a monster, but my Ni-Mh combo was close to keeping up. Hoping to see some improvement with the 2s Lipo! Fuze 6800kv motor on the way already also, and that will be it for a while as I won't see myself going to 3s. The simplicity and design of this vehicle is awesome! Give Arrma a shot folks.
Don’t waste your money!!! Nothing but problems!!! I know first hand. Bought one over heated on 2s lipo rt out of the box switched it over to brushless (castle sidewinder) two days later servo shot! Had it a week and all the guts had to be replaced! Would have been nice to just be able to run at least one battery start to finish out of the box without thermal protection kickin in.
Bender429 thank you for the warning, I'm trying to find a new short course truck and I've been eyeing a certain Traxxas slash, but the problem is that it's 2wd. Its brushless and looks great but the 2wd just... ruins it for me
"Well, most styles of vehicle were covered except for the 1/10 4x4 category...until now!" .....??? As far as I know the Arrma Senton 6S BLX 1/10 4x4 is since 2014 on the market?!
ARRMA considers the Senton 6S 1/10, but its kind of one of those grey area vehicles as it is based off of their 1/8 buggy. This Senton's design follows the 1/10 standard a bit closer.
@@aevan104 It does not drive like shit but it is weak as shit I can tell you that I'm looking for a fast 4x4 SCT that above to take a beating around $300-$400 haven't driven my slash 4x4 in almost a year just didn't want to break it

The front shocks are mounted right in front of the arm. This means they are the first to hit a rock or obstacle due to the narrow bumper. I have a HK Trooper SCT and I always break the front shocks while bashing. Its mostly due to collisions with objects which the narrow number does not protect from Has anyone broken the front shocks while bashing? A good design would protect the front shocks.
If you get one of these don't drive it in gravel, little rocks get under the steering arms and it hangs up the steering every time. My drive way is gravel and I cant drive mine in my drive way. It will hang up every time. SUCKS!
Just picked one up today, I'm actually really impressed by it.
Ordered one for my son's 14th. He's gonna have a blast with me bashing this and the bigrock v3

Good unboxing. Lookks very neat ... and different from the previous released models.

The RCNetwork would i be able to throw a vxl system in this
Woww... was waiting for this :)

I would like to know where you can get stronger front bumper for an Arrma Senton.
I need one. I'd just slap in a 550 brushless setup and a 3s
Nice truck from Arrma👍
I was wondering if I could use my Traxxas lipos for the Senton just by changing the esc power connecter.
Awesome RCs yes you can or you can buy a adapter
Are there any differences to the 3s blx and 6s blx besides to the body and electronics?

For a beginner, what's a good affordable quick charger?
Hey Greg this video is 3 years I just ordered the 3s V3 I have a question is this truck a 1.9 or 2.2? great video 😉👍

Are these trucks fast out the box and what's the max they can hit
better than the basic slash
Hey everyone I'm new to RC. What are the advantages of going to a LiPo battery from the stock NiMH battery?
Awesome channel. Subscribed
Is it waterproof since I don’t know if I blew the esc (electronic speed control ) with Lipo or got water in the esc?
Thanks for the good review.
The diffs have metal gear or plastic, btw?
Parts compatible with Slash?
The diffs are metal
What's the best in short curse traxxas slash or arrma sent on?
Where can you purchase T-BONE Racing Products?
Metric esc and metric 12t brushed motor. It looks like a heavy rc 4wd to reach 30mph as far as I know those escs can accept only up to 2s 7.4v lipos
Mine is a monster 200$ and my 3 year old can drive it! I'm getting more arrma sticks asap
What's the difference between a 12 turn motor and a 15 turn motor which motor is better
Did you know if this Senton body fits for the ,,Real" Senton 6s?
Just order mine 4x4 EXTREME
The tires look small for the size of the body.
Do they come with batteries
Best vids
Does arrma beginner mod?
Love you videos awesome
Is this the best bang for the buck to get started in racing ?
What is the scale?
Would this be better than a slash 4bye4
4hai4
Traxxas fox body edition for raptor or this arma? Plz help
Its been a year but id go arma for cheap 4x4 but traxxas has a better parts market
Hm, tempting. I have a 2WD VTEC LRP, but it was about 200€. Parts are not easy to get.
Great Video! But do you make Redcar videos?
Redcat
Do they die in like 20-30 min or just me need to know
sounds about right
sooo its like a dominus that isn't a social outcast
Do I still have to break it in?
Or is that just for brushed cars?
i have this car
Das goe voor u eh

It’s only $60 bucks more for the Traxxas slash 4 by 4 brushed and it comes with everything you need
But the slash drives like shit. Way too easy to roll

The way they designed the servo was a big mess up
It’s sooooo sexy! I’m so tempted to get one.

'affordable'
For the quality and parts it comes with it’s actually affordable u would be surprise to see pricing on mid-high range rc cars
@@wicho99w99 does it have metal driveshafts or is there an aftermarket for them
B W nope the driveshafts are plastic and I haven’t seen any metal ones but they’re not a problem the hold up extremely well
Looks pretty cheap! Slash 4x4 is a way better option tho. My slash is a beast!
Are you kidding 250 dollars is not affordable
