Larrys4227 Why a mild brushless? I installed a Hobby Wing ESC/motor combo (4300 kv), a new 27 tooth pinion gear and a 100C 2S battery. The thing absolutely screams! It’s a blast. You can’t jump on the throttle all at once or it will torque roll. That’s how fast it is now. Anyway, if you like to go fast, don’t go mild on the motor upgrade.

I got this for my 6 yr old son for Christmas. He (we) love it a lot!! I'm just trying to get some idea of what the cleaning schedule is for this truck. How often should I pull off the motor assembly and flush it out? We drive on the street and the yard with some sandy areas. Thanks for a great vid.

Just got one of these this past weekend.. Like it better then the Slash BUT it has a lot less aftermarket stuff then the Traxxas is all...
can you fit a blx motor from something like a typhon 4x4 blx onto it? im thinking of upgrading...

How does this compare to tenacity pro's 1/10 scale Baja truck?
i ended up snapping a axle, the camber arms, a lower control arm, burnt out two of those brushed motors and broke the steering servo, and the frame. but the front bash bar is okay ahahha
i had to upgrade the steering servo the power controller and the motor and the spur gear because i stripped my spur gear with the hobby wing brushless motor that i put onto it rn im running nimh battery 5000Mah but im gonna change them to lipo batteries

So if I’ve decided to go electric how do I determine weather I get the “lipo” or the standard nickel battery? Is it best to go with one that can do both or upgrade later? And unless it’s a Harley I am NOT mechanically inclined lol
Idk if you went ahead and picked one up. but I just picked this one up wensday great price it is set up for nimh 2s and 3s it is easy to set it for eaither lipo or nimh. when I bought it I bought a 2s and a lipo charger only because my local hobby store had a deal going on if you bought a RC get 20 off battery so he'll why not. in my opinion the trucks pretty quick out the box with provided battery but with the 2s lipo I bought so much quicker I love this truck. I would not recommend this truck to a newbie no offense. But I have yet to take anything apart to inspect so idk how hard it is to work on if your looking for an electric rc in general of any kind may I suggest a helion rock rider brushed or brushles it's extremely fun to drive and extremely easy to work on thought about the 15th run I had to change the servo and the 20th I had to change the motor I got the servo on Amazon and the motor from my hobby store go with the Traxxas Titan 12 turn it will speed it up alot and I got a simple metal gear 20 kg servo from Amazon. But I also did upgrade the chasis plate to just because I wanted to though. Hope this gives you an invite in what to get

No this does 19 to 20 mph out of the box on 2s lipo and the slash does 35+ easy on the stock Titan motor I know I have one lol and I upgraded the motor to brushless but the Titan motor is one of the best brushed motors I've ever used.

Is there a difference between the brushed Senton and the Senton 3s?
One does around 30 mph and one does around 55 mph
I'm considering this as a gift for my 8 year old nephew, We've tried to get him into crawlers but he just wants to go fast. Do you think this is too large of a rig for someone his age?

The truck is actually 1-2 mph faster with the nickel battery ... It's 8.4v compared to a 2s at 7.2v

The truck will top out around 20mph, out of the box. The nickel pack will do well, but top speed will decrease as the battery is used ... Typical of NiMH. 2s lipo will be constant until just before LVC. So looking forward to unwrapping this at Christmas.
Is this a strong reliable truck? Also does it have metal gears?
I think it is strong, watch a few Bashing videos of it, but I don't think it has metal gears, I know the 6s blx has

Bought one, great looking truck, after 10 min hit the wall broke shock and A Arm... not that tough

Hi,
i purchase a Senton 6S for Me and a Senton Mega 4X4 for my son
On our 1st run, and then the 2nd this morning, the Mega 4X4 run for 20 minutes approximatively and then doesn't want to go forward or brake/reverse, the servo is still working i can turn the wheels right and left.
i thought it was a battery problem, but with a fully charged battery the truck run for 10 seconds and then it happens again.
I read on the internet that Senton Mega 4X4 have some issues on its esc. I would like to have a brand new car/ESC for my little boy who is so disappointed to see its brand new truck out of order each time he tries to runs it :(
ps : my 6S is a beast :)

Rear axle broke on second run. You will need to upgrade the steering servo, it stinks. Also, bottom piece of shock where the screw is, crap also.

Had this, It was a pretty cool machine until I upgraded to Brushless and Lipo, used a 2800kv motor sensorless with ESC, Ran a 3s Lipo and shredded the diff gears and snapped several and I mean SEVERAL, drive shafts.
Lol overkill is fun.
An indestructible vehicle, until you confront it with another arma, I know from experience.
Broke the front left arms.
Its a good car but the rocks getting hung up in the steering is a real problem. My drive way is gravel and I cant run this car in my own drive way. It will get hung up every time I run it. SUCKS! Oh and the rubber body clip tethers are cool but don't use them to pull the clips they will snap right into. In the dirt or grass its a beast, handles nice. My Losi 2wd short coarse truck is just a tic faster.
There is a lady selling one if these by me for 100$ and it looks brand new and I have an extra brushless set-up I can throw in it hmmmmmmm

Yeah, I charged the stock battery for 8 hours and it was still red, I use a 6 year old speed charger and it charges it in less than an hour
Why all these "new" (arrma, ecx etc..) brands look so cheap and chiense? HPi and Trx don't...
Why does no one have a video binding the radio to the receiver? Can't get this stupid thing to pair to save my life.
